본 논문은 웹 사이트 평가 기법과 웹 접근성 평가 기법을 비교함으로써, 웹 사이트 평가 기법에 비해 적용 기법이 상대적으로 부족한 웹 접근성 평가 기법의 문제점을 지적하고, 이에 따른 다양한 웹 접근성 평가 기법의 활용을 제안한다. 웹 접근성이라 함은 정보기술이 발전함에 따라 소외되기 쉬운 장애인이 웹을 쉽게 사용할 수 있도록 하는 것으로써, 어떤 사용자라도 보편적으로 웹을 사용할 수 있게 하는 것이다. 그러나 웹 접근성에 대한 국내외의 노력에도 불구하고, 적용되고 있는 웹 접근성 평가가 실제로는 장애인이 웹을 사용함에 있어 많은 도움이 되고 있지 않다. 따라서 실제적인 도움이 되는 웹 접근성 평가 방법의 개발과 시행이 시급하다 하겠다. 본 논문은 웹 사이트 평가 및 웹 접근성 평가 기법을 비교 조사함으로써, 현재 적용되고 있는 평가 기법의 현황 및 동향을 조사하였다. 이러한 자료를 바탕으로, 웹 접근성 평가에 있어 평가 기법 범위의 협소성과 한계를 지적하였다. 또한, 웹 접근성 평가의 평가기법상의 한계가 웹 접근성을 포함한 통합적 웹 사이트 평가의 개발에 문제가 되며, 그에 따른 많은 문제가 발생함을 지적하였다. 그리고 웹 접근성 평가에 대해 다양한 평가 기법을 활용함으로써 생기는 이점을 제시함으로써, 다양한 평가 기법을 적용한 웹 접근성 평가 방법 개발의 타당성을 제시하였다.

웹은 제작과 사용이 간편하다는 이점으로 인해 사용인구가 폭발적으로 증가하고 있다. 또한 웹은 지역, 성별, 연령에 관계없이 사용할 수 있는 보편적인 특성을 지니고 있다. 이러한 웹의 보편적 특징은 특히 장애인들을 위해서 웹 접근성이라는 용어로 사용되고 있다. 이러한 웹 접근성을 평가하기 위해 국내 정부기관 웹 사이트와 국제기구 웹 사이트를 비교 평가하였다. 특히, 웹 접근성평가는 평가자의 기준에 의해 평가결과가 모호하며 평가결과가 상당부분 왜곡되어 있다는 문제점이 있다. 또한 이러한 문제점은 데이터테이블에서 두드러지게 나타난다. 본 연구에서는 데이터 테이블의 왜곡된 평가에 대한 문제점을 도출하고 그러한 문제점을 수정하여 국내외 웹 사이트들을 비교 평가하였다. 평가결과, 국내외 웹 사이트의 데이터 테이블에 대한 웹 접근성은 많은 격차가 존재하였으며, 웹 접근성 준수 여부는 지침의 기술적 준수뿐만 아니라 웹 사이트 설계 시 화면 구성에 의해서도 결정되어 짐을 제시하였다.

This study is intended to propose quality criteria and Web metrics for usability quality evaluation of multimedia Web sites. Recently, applications of the Web sites are not limited to the area of industry and operating as it integrates the new technology. Also as information super highway becomes common with development or network technology, multimedia Web site is on the rise due to various use of multimedia attributes. Therefore this study expands to apply HTML based Web site quality evaluation studied in Software engineering, HCI, Hypermedia to multimedia Web site, and suggests new metrics by integrating flash usability which is expanding its portion in multimedia Web site lately. The Web metrics proposed in this study are verified by heuristic evaluation from a group of expert. It analyses the results of quantitative and qualitative qualify evaluation on Web Award Korea by comparing the award-winning, high-quality Web site with non-winning Web sites. This study can be used to establish guideline for high-quality multimedia Web site development in the future.

최근 정보기술의 발전과 인터넷 서비스의 급속한 성장 둥으로 인하여 다양한 분야에서 웹 사이트가 운용중이며 품질의 중요성도 점차 인식되어지고 있다. 또한, 운용중인 웹 사이트 품질평가를 위해 적용할 품질모형 및 품질정가 프로세스는 평가대상 웹 사이트의 특성을 고려하여 선정이 요구된다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 ISO/IEC 9126-4, WebQEM, 2QCV3Q, KNDU-SQEP를 적용하고, 미흡한 품질속성을 보완하기 위해 웹 사이트 품질평가를 위한 품질모형과 품질평가 프로세스를 제시하였다. 또한 웹 사이트 제품 평가 모델의 품질평가 점검표를 작성하여 포털 및 전문업무 사이트에 적용하고 WebQEM 모텔과 제안한 모델의 평가치를 비교하여 운용중인 웹 사이트에 대하여 평가가 가능한 것을 입증하였다. 향후에는 개발 중의 중간 산출물에 대한 품질평가 점검표의 개발을 통하여 전 수명주기에 대한 지원이 요구된다.

인터넷에 대한 많은 관심만큼 교육용 웹 사이트를 신뢰성 있고 효과적으로 평가할 수 있는 평가모델의 개발이 활발히 연구되어 지고 있다. 본 논문은 지금까지 여러 분야에서 제시되어 사용되고 있는 다양한 웹 문서 평가기준 기준에 관한 기존 연구를 바탕으로 평가 항목을 제시하였다. 그리고, 교육용 웹 사이트 평가 수준을 계량적으로 표현할 수 있는 모델을 제시하였다. 또한 교육용 웹 사이트 평가 모델의 평가단계 평가 영역별 가증치를 설정하여 평가 모형이 교육용 웹 사이트에서 고유의 특성을 잘 반영할 수 있도록 하였다.

인터넷이 보편화되면서 그에 따른 정보량도 급증하고 있다. 웹문서량이 많아짐에 따라 웹문서를 구조를 이용하여 저장, 분석하는 연구가 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 웹사이트를 사용자가 평가하기 위해 계층적인 웹문서들의 관계를 사이트맵으로 구성하며 웹문서 내의 계층구조를 추출, 저장하고 그래픽적으로 표시하였다. 이를 위해 웹문서 내의 계층구조를 위해 W3기관의 공용으로 사용되는 Tidy 라이브러리를 이용하여 URL에 대한 HTML 문서를 얻고 이를 XML로 변환하였다. 변환된 XML 결과로 이진트리를 구성하고 계층구조를 표현하였다. 웹문서들의 사이트맵은 그래프형식과 계층구조형식으로 표현했는데 그래프형식을 이용하여 사이트맵의 연결구조를 파악할 수 있게 하였으며, 계층구조를 이용하여 웹문서간의 계층구조에 따른 정보를 얻을 수 있었다. 사이트맵을 구성하기 위해 URL들의 구조를 인접리스트로 저장하였으며, 방향성 그래프형식을 이용하였다. 또한 웹문서 구조를 계층적으로 구성하기 위해 웹문서의 그래프형식에 대해 BFS(Breadth First Search)방식을 이용했다. 또한 계층적 사이트맵을 이용한 평가항목을 이용하여 증권사이트에 대해 실험하였다. 실험을 통해 본 시스템이 웹사이트 평가에 유용성함을 입증하였다.

Importance of Web accessability for handicapped persons is ever increasing in the information society with increasing role of the Web. The Web accessibility of handicapped person related Web sites were compared with the school Web sites in order to figure out the realities of handicapped person related Web site's accessibilities. According to the experiment, the Web accessibility of handicapped person related Web sites got lower scores than general school Web sites. The research result shows that more improvement efforts for the Web accessibility of handicapped person related Web sites are required.

인터넷과 웹의 빠른 발전과 더불어 비즈니스프로세스, 지식 경영, 마케팅, 전자 상거래 등 현대의 다양한 IT 시스템들이 웹으로 통합되면서 비즈니스 환경을 급격하게 변화시키고 있다. 웹의 본질적인 복잡함과 짧은 생명주기는 웹 사이트의 성공적인 개발과 유지보수를 위해서 많은 비용과 노력의 소요를 유발한다. 이러한 상황에서 웹 사이트의 효율적인 관리와 평가 방법 및 시스템적인 지원은 웹 사이트의 개발과 유지보수에 있어 핵심적인 요소라 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 웹 사이트의 개발과 유지보수에 대한 비용을 절감하고 효율적인 구조 관리와 평가를 지원하기 위해 개발된 시스템과 7단계의 효율적인 관리와 평가 방법을 제안한다.

Educational web sites are proliferating at an astonishing rate, however many of those web sites are of poor or unknown quality. Educators are in need of instruments to assist in evaluating educational web sites for authenticity, applicability, authorship, bias, and usability, etc. The ability to critically evaluate educational content form numerous web sites is an important skill in this information age. In this paper, indicators of educational web site quality have been identified from literature review and our own research, and classified within 8 categories. To test the relative contribution of each indicator to the satisfaction level from using educational web sites, a questionnaire survey was administered. Subjects were asked to visit the educational web site of his or her choice and rate the quality level of each indicator. 255 completed questionnaires were turned in for analysis. Cronbach's Alpha test and factor analysis were applied to test the reliability and validity of the data. Stepwise regression analysis was applied to test the relationship between the satisfaction level and 14 independent factors. Implications from the statistical analysis as well as the guidelines for evaluating educational web sites were provided.

The Internet is now an integral part of the everyday lives of a majority of people. They are demanding web sites that offer credible information - Just as much as they want sites that are easy to navigate. But the online reality today is that few Internet users say they can trust the web sites that have products for sale or the sites that offer advice about which products and services to buy. Users want the web sites they visit to provide clear information to allow them to judge the site's credibility. Users want to know who runs the site; how to reach those people; the site's privacy policy; and how the site deals with mistakes. In the eyes of users all sites ate not equal. Users have different credibility standards for different types of sites. For news and information sites users want advertising clearly labeled as advertising. And users want the site to provide a list of the editors responsible for the site's contents, including the editor's email address. For e-commerce sites, user expectations and demands are just about as high as they can be. They say that it is very important that these sites provide specific, accurate information about the site's policies and practices.
