Web-based Assessment System is needed for Process-Oriented Evaluation to integrate instructions into evaluation frequently in Informatics Education, and considered usability for supporting teachers to test more conveniently. First of all, we analyzed usability of traditional Web-based Assessment System, and proposed PBA(Paper-Based Assessment) model by extracting usability features of paper-pencil assessment in off-line. The evaluation system based on the PBA model controls the whole processes of tests; before-test, under-test, after-test. Especially, the system readily can change the target class, and control access to the test page during each step. Thus we can get high credibility about the test results. Moreover, students can login to the paper easily by using their grade, class, number and name. Finally, we designed and implemented the Web-based Assessment System for Informatics education on the basis of PBA model; PAS(PBA-based Assessment System).

정보통신 및 IT 기술의 획기적 발전으로 인해 오늘 날 우리가 접할 수 있는 정보는 그 양적 질적 측면 비약적인 성장을 거듭하고 있다. 또한 인터넷 보급의 활성화로 대부분의 사람들은 다양한 종류 및 형식으로 구성된 정보 속에서 지내고 있다. 특히 현재 웹 기반의 정보는 날이 갈수록 대량화 고수준화를 향해 내닫고 있다. 이에 반해 정보 소외계층의 한 부류로 인식되고 있는 시각장애 사용자들은 그들의 신체적 환경적 요인으로 인해 원하는 정보를 쉽게 획득하지 못하고 있다. 본 연구는 시각장애를 가진 사용자를 위한 효율적 웹 기반 교육 서비스 인터페이스 구현의 방법을 제시하는 것이 그 목적이다. 이에 현재 가장 많이 사용되고 있는 Screen Reader S/W의 기능적 고찰을 통해 시각장애를 가지고 있는 웹 사용자들에게 사용상의 편의 및 양적 및 질적 측면에서의 보다 나은 정보를 제공할 수 있는 웹 기반 교육 서비스의 인터페이스 구현 방법에 대한 연구를 실제 구현을 통한 그 만족도의 측정을 통해 알아보려 한다.

소프트웨어 개발기술의 발달에 따라 컴포넌트 기반 개발 기법은 객체지향기법에서의 새로운 대안으로 제시되어왔다. 그러나 웹 기반 시스템의 개발은 설러 가지 요인으로 인하여 현재까지 소프트웨어 컴포넌트 도입의 초기단계에 머물고 있다. 본 연구에서는 컴포넌트 개발 기법을 이용한 웹 기반 성적처리 시스템을 구현하였다. 대상 하부 컴포넌트는 Java Beans로 구현하였으며, 컴포넌트 합성명세로는 C2 아키텍처 스타일 기법을 이용하였다. 이러한 결과로서 웹 기반 교육 시스템 분에의 개발에서 소프트웨어 컴포넌트 적용 일 운용에 관한 효율성을 보일 수 있었다.

WBI as new instructional method is known to be superior to the traditional face-to-face education method with regard to cost, time and effectiveness of learning. However, WBI lacks the humanity education that teaches human nature such as cooperative spirit or morality, since WBI delivers the knowledge in a mechanical way. The objective of this study is to design and implement Web-based humanity education system that supplements WBI. The system is designed to promote the intimate relation, reliability, and openness between teacher and student. Also, this system encourages the students to experience an affirmative human relation through group activities. In additions, this system promotes parents to join together for improving their understanding of children's learning process.

본 연구에서는 실험 실습 가상교육 또는 원격 교육 콘텐츠가 학습 효과를 향상할 수 있는 효과적인 교육 수단으로 인정되고 있으나 원격에서 실험 실습을 하기위한 환경구성의 어려움을 극복을 위한 방안으로 웹 기반의 하드웨어 원격제어 기술을 이용하여, 임베디드 시스템 활용 교육을 위한 가상교육 시스템을 구현 하였다. 본 가상교육 시스템의 구성은 서버 시스템과 학습 시스템으로 되어 있다. 서버 시스템은 컴파일 서버, 원격 실습 서버, 웹 서버, Telnet 서버, 웹 카메라 서버 등으로 구성한다. 학습 시스템은 이론 강의, 가상 실습, 원격 실습의 세 부분으로 구성한다. 본 연구에서 구현한 시스템은 원격지에서의 프로세서 실습 환경을 제공하기 위해 웹에서 동작하는 Telnet 클라이언트를 제작하여 임베디드 하드웨어를 제어한다. 또한 이론학습 과정을 별도로 구성하고, 원격제어가 불가능한 개발환경 구축 과정은 가상 실습으로 학습하게 하였다. 이러한 점을 활용하여 임베디드 시스템의 효율적인 학습이 가능하다.

In this paper, we exmined the effect of leaner-tutor interaction model implemented in a Web-based virtual education system. Also, we proposed a new tutor model as a strategy for solving problems found in learner-tutor intraction in Web-based virtual education. Then, based on the results of previous research, we derived the roles of the tutor, and using the roles, modeled components of interaction between the tutor based on existing Web-based virtual education systems to demonstrate the effect. The results showed that the proposed model is efficient for improving the learners' achievements and interactive activities.

In this study, we develop a RSS-based educational information system for providing users, such as teachers, students, and parents of students with an adapted information. In order to collect an educational information from diverse web pages we design a web-based RSS reader. The RSS reader reads RSS files from the web sites or blogs which provide RSS feeds and then creates XML documents. The created XML documents are classified and registered into the system. Whenever the registered web-pages are updated, the system can automatically collect the updated information and provide the user with it. Therefore the user can be provided a real-time adapted educational information without searching web-sites from the system.

This study examined contents of interaction that played an important role in learners' accomplishment of educational goals at web-based educational system. The purpose of the study was to find out design strategies of web-based education website that could give learners more satisfactory interaction. The study firstly investigated concept and values of web-based education as well as interaction by literature study to analyze web-based educational design principles at actual web-based education websites from point of view of interaction and to examine what factors should be used and reinforced at existing teaching. The findings were as follow: Web-based education websites made use of interaction with 'each design factor', such as colors, texts and images, etc that were based on communication designs to give 'information' by systematic interaction more than by social interaction.

웹 기반 교육시스템에 컴포넌트 개념을 도입하여 재사용하는 연구는 소프트웨어 재사용 측면에서 생산성 증대에 기여한다. 이 논문에서는 웹 기반 교육시스템에 컴포넌트 개념을 도입하여 재사용성을 높이는 연구의 연장으로 컴포넌트를 인터넷상에 개방하면서 그 컴포넌트에 대한 검색을 하거나 컴포넌트를 이해하고자하는 사용자들에게 도움이 되는 정보들이 상세하게 기술되어야 함을 전제로 개발자의 WBI에서 요구 사항에 부합되는 컴포넌트를 검색하기 위한 컴포넌트 명세 모델과 아키텍쳐에 기반한 컴포넌트 검색 모델을 XML형태로 명세하고 클래스 다이어그램으로 표기하였다. 컴포넌트에 대한 표준명세서가 정의되지 않았기 때문에 본 시스템에서는 정의된 명세서 이외의 다양한 컴포넌트 명세서를 수용할 수 있는 유연성을 가진 검색 방법을 사용하였다.

최첨단 정보통신 기술의 급속한 발전과 구성주의 학습 이론을 기반으로 등장한 원격 교육에서는 학습자가 자신의 학습 과정을 주관함으로써 자신에게 필요한 지식과 기술을 습득하는 자기주도적 학습이 이루어진다. 그러나 웹 기반 원격 교육이나 구성주의가 '학습자 중심의 교육을 실현할 수 있는 기반'으로 자리잡기 위해서는 교사의 역할이 반드시 필요하다. 지금까지 이루어지고 있는 웹상의 원격 교육은 정적이고 수동적인 방식으로 이루어져, 학습자의 학업 성취 정도를 다양하게 파악할 수 없을 뿐 아니라 교사의 역할이 거의 배제되어 있는 실정이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 교사 에이전트를 활용하여 학습자의 다양한 학습 진도를 단계별로 지도할 수 있는 원격 교육 시스템 모델을 제안하고자 한다. 제안하는 모델에서 교사 에이전트는 학습자 정보를 바탕으로 학습자 개개인의 학습 진행 상황에 맞는 학습 모델을 생성하고 평가에 의해 학업 성취 정도를 파악하여 다음 단계로의 학습 진행 여부를 제어한다. 이를 통하여 웹기반 원격 교육이 제공하는 학습 자원이 아무 목적없이 정보 검색 자체로 활용되는 문제점을 해결하고 진정한 학습자 중심의 교육을 실현할 수 있는 기반을 마련할 수 있다.
