Website Falsification Detection System Based on Image and Code Analysis for Enhanced Security Monitoring and Response (이미지 및 코드분석을 활용한 보안관제 지향적 웹사이트 위·변조 탐지 시스템)

  • New types of attacks that mainly compromise the public, portal and financial websites for the purpose of economic profit or national confusion are being emerged and evolved. In addition, in case of 'drive by download' attack, if a host just visits the compromised websites, then the host is infected by a malware. Website falsification detection system is one of the most powerful solutions to cope with such cyber threats that try to attack the websites. Many domestic CERTs including NCSC (National Cyber Security Center) that carry out security monitoring and response service deploy it into the target organizations. However, the existing techniques for the website falsification detection system have practical problems in that their time complexity is high and the detection accuracy is not high. In this paper, we propose website falsification detection system based on image and code analysis for improving the performance of the security monitoring and response service in CERTs. The proposed system focuses on improvement of the accuracy as well as the rapidity in detecting falsification of the target websites.

A study on Digital Agriculture Data Curation Service Plan for Digital Agriculture

  • In this paper, we propose a service method that can provide insight into multi-source agricultural data, way to cluster environmental factor which supports data analysis according to time flow, and curate crop environmental factors. The proposed curation service consists of four steps: collection, preprocessing, storage, and analysis. First, in the collection step, the service system collects and organizes multi-source agricultural data by using an OpenAPI-based web crawler. Second, in the preprocessing step, the system performs data smoothing to reduce the data measurement errors. Here, we adopt the smoothing method for each type of facility in consideration of the error rate according to facility characteristics such as greenhouses and open fields. Third, in the storage step, an agricultural data integration schema and Hadoop HDFS-based storage structure are proposed for large-scale agricultural data. Finally, in the analysis step, the service system performs DTW-based time series classification in consideration of the characteristics of agricultural digital data. Through the DTW-based classification, the accuracy of prediction results is improved by reflecting the characteristics of time series data without any loss. As a future work, we plan to implement the proposed service method and apply it to the smart farm greenhouse for testing and verification.

Sentiment Analyses of the Impacts of Online Experience Subjectivity on Customer Satisfaction (감성분석을 이용한 온라인 체험 내 비정형데이터의 주관도가 고객만족에 미치는 영향 분석)

  • The development of information technology(IT) has brought so-called "online experience" to satisfy our daily needs. The market for online experiences grew more during the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, this study attempted to analyze how the features of online experience services affect customer satisfaction by crawling structured and unstructured data from the online experience web site newly launched by Airbnb after COVID-19. As a result of the analysis, it was found that the structured data generated by service users on a C2C online sharing platform had a positive effect on the satisfaction of other users. In addition, unstructured text data such as experience introductions and host introductions generated by service providers turned out to have different subjectivity scores depending on the purpose of its text. It was confirmed that the subjective host introduction and the objective experience introduction affect customer satisfaction positively. The results of this study are to provide various implications to stakeholders of the online sharing economy platform and researchers interested in online experience knowledge management.

An Analysis of the Internal Marketing Impact on the Market Capitalization Fluctuation Rate based on the Online Company Reviews from Jobplanet (직원을 위한 내부마케팅이 기업의 시가 총액 변동률에 미치는 영향 분석: 잡플래닛 기업 리뷰를 중심으로)

  • Thanks to the growth of computing power and the recent development of data analytics, researchers have started to work on the data produced by users through the Internet or social media. This study is in line with these recent research trends and attempts to adopt data analytical techniques. We focus on the impact of "internal marketing" factors on firm performance, which is typically studied through survey methodologies. We looked into the job review platform Jobplanet (www.jobplanet.co.kr), which is a website where employees and former employees anonymously review companies and their management. With web crawling processes, we collected over 40K data points and performed morphological analysis to classify employees' reviews for internal marketing data. We then implemented econometric analysis to see the relationship between internal marketing and market capitalization. Contrary to the findings of extant survey studies, internal marketing is positively related to a firm's market capitalization only within a limited area. In most of the areas, the relationships are negative. Particularly, female-friendly environment and human resource development (HRD) are the areas exhibiting positive relations with market capitalization in the manufacturing industry. In the service industry, most of the areas, such as employ welfare and work-life balance, are negatively related with market capitalization. When firm size is small (or the history is short), female-friendly environment positively affect firm performance. On the contrary, when firm size is big (or the history is long), most of the internal marketing factors are either negative or insignificant. We explain the theoretical contributions and managerial implications with these results.
