A Status Report on Interior Design-Related Websites (인터넷을 통한 인테리어 관련 웹사이트들의 정보실태 조사)

  • Through the surge of intelligence-based technology, information and communication are the main production means, and the ground-breaking innovation of technology, computing, communication, broadcasting have integrated. And this have led to automated, information-based and communication networked society, and the information age. To cope with this movement toward information-based society, offices of interior design are increasingly taking advantage of the Internet and searching for e-commerce business. Many interior design offices have opened up homepages and interior design-related companies are currently in preparation for new advertisement and marketing through the Internet. The purpose of this study is to examine the level of Internet usage by interior design·related web sites and information for maintenance of such web sites. This study analyzes these web sites by their contents and solutions.

  • Most public libraries construct and operate their websites to provide the various user groups in local communities with internet access in Korea. But the representative public library's websites designed for children who are going to lead the next generation information based society, are unsatisfactory and don't reflect their approaches to information. The main factors of content and circumstance of usage are also extremely poor. Therefore, this research analyzed the construction of websites for children, their interface and design, search services, the contents of provincial representative public libraries amongst public libraries in korea and suggested improvement schemes.

  • Port marketing using websites in the e-business environment is essential in response to the competition to become hub ports, especially since shipping companies, ports' major customers, are being pressed by shippers to reduce logistics costs and introduce large ships to realize economies of scale, thereby reducing the number of ports of call. In this sense, this study intends to approach the port industry from the perspective of e-business and suggest vitalization methods using Gwangyang Port websites(6C; contents, community, communication, connection, commerce, customization) as one of the ways to turn it into Northeast Asia's hub port of logistics.

  • The collection management paradigm has drastically changed since the emergence of collection management activities on the internet. Due to the technological development of web, web has become the newly open field as a useful tool to facilitate collection management transactions. The purpose of this study is, by evaluating web sites of the university library’s collection management in United States, to construct the contents of collection management web site. To fulfill the purpose, 6 categories for the contents of the collection management web site are suggested. The result of this study can be used as the basic data for researching of collection management web site. Web site is playing a role of stepping up its activities and informing useful information on its selection tool and collection development policy.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the features of Internet bookshops in order to suggest the most effective website model for them. Seven Internet bookshop websites are analyzed. The evaluating criteria includes: interface layout, contents, function aspects. The results show that a suggested model should include various aspects: 1) user-centered menu structure, 2) effective search methodlsubject directory, and 3) various and good quality review.

  • Library website is medium for connecting library information resources and users. However, searching and accessing methods to information resources in library websites and retrieval systems are mostly designed for users. So, the disabled users have difficulty accessing and using library information resources through library websites. Therefore, the author carried on current status study and analysis on the retrieval system of the national and public library websites in Korea. And then, the author proposes improvement plan in order to enhance satisfaction with information needs of disabled users and to use a basic study for construction of retrieval system of library websites for disabled users.

  • This study analyzed the web style guide of five foreign university library web sites and extracted the web site components of main university libraries in ten domestic areas and then drew the common factors from the components. This study also found out the unity and rule in the general design trends of university library web sites. In order to do this, the results for the usability and accessibility of university library web sites were applied to this study. And being based on it. this study presents the web style guide components of the university libraries which are the factors to endow the web site with the consistently visual identity.

  • 본 연구는 모바일 쇼핑의 급증과 더불어 성장하고 있는 O2O(Online-to-Offline) 시장에서 소비자가 추구하는 쇼핑가치(shopping values)를 충족시켜줄 수 있는 웹사이트를 구축하기 위한 요인들을 탐색함으로써 이들 쇼핑가치와 웹사이트 성공요인 간 관계가 향후 소비자의 재구매의도와 같은 고객충성도에 미치는 영향을 고찰하는 데에 그 목적이 있다. O2O 시장에서는 온라인 웹사이트로 소비자를 유도하여 필요한 정보를 제공한 후 관련 제품과 서비스를 수령할 때에는 다시 오프라인으로 유도함으로써 잠재 고객을 확대하고 기존 소비자의 구매를 확대시키고자 한다. 따라서 소비자가 제품과 서비스를 접하는 첫 관문인 웹사이트 설계는 중요한 고려대상이다. 기존 B2C(Business-to-Consumer) 환경에서는 온라인과 오프라인이 각각 독립적인 채널로 운영된 데에 반해 O2O 환경에서는 온라인과 오프라인의 통합으로 시너지 효과를 추구하기 때문에 O2O 채널을 이용하는 소비자가 추구하는 쇼핑가치는 기존 B2C와 다르며 본 연구에서는 새로운 O2O 환경에서 이러한 소비자의 쇼핑가치를 충족시켜줄 수 있는 성공적인 웹사이트 요인을 탐색하고자 한다.

The Enhancement of Customer Royalty through Website Design (웹사이트 설계를 통한 고객충성도 강화)

  • Recently, e-Biz Companies are paying attention to e-CRM in an effort to utilize meaningful customers' information obtained using their websites. e-Biz companies try to increase the profit by collecting customers' data, serving customers better through interactive communications and differentiating customers' management using their websites. Although it is found that corporates' websites play a critical role in e-CRM, only a few researches have been conducted related to the effective website design. Tn this study, desirable website design factors were identified through literature review, and an empirical study was conducted to identify how these factors are related to customer's loyalty measured via customer's intention for continuous use and recommendation the website to others. Also this study was designed to suggest a benchmark for the companies which plan to build a website for e-CRM in the future.

  • 해외지역 다국어기반 웹사이트는 사용자에게 해외지역 관련 기본정보 및 전문정보를 다국어기반으로 서비스를 제공해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 국내에서 운영 중인 해외지역 다국어기반 웹사이트들을 선정하여 콘텐츠, 서비스, 인터페이스, 시스템 등의 세부 항목들을 기준으로 비교 평가한다. 세부적으로 평가 항목 도출에 있어서 해외지역 특성과 다국어기반 서비스를 충분하게 반영할 수 있도록 한다. 그리고 사이트들에 대한 평가 결과를 통하여 향후 해외지역 다국어기반 웹사이트 구축 시 참고할 수 있는 표준 모형을 제시하고자 한다.
