A Design of semantic web-based fish drug information system (시맨틱 웹기반 수산용 의약품 정보시스템 설계)

  • In this paper, we suggest a fish drug domain ontology to show an associated information and hierarchy together through concept-relation and inference mechanism instead of keyword matching. First, we investigate competency questions from workers of fishery industry and then we derive concepts and terminologies. Next, we present a process of fish drug ontology modelling using Protege-OWL editor, which is an extension of Protege that supports the Web Ontology Language(OWL). Last, we suggest the user interface of semantic web-based fish drug information system to search easily associated informations of fish drug using this ontology. It is to provide an effective search method that fish disease manager, fish farmer, and students majoring in fisheries can confirm details of diseases, fish, and drug evaluations associated with fish drug within one screen without moving to another position.

  • As the Internet has been improved to Web 2.0, it introduces new approaches including Rich Internet Application (RIA) technology such as Flash, AJAX, Silverlight, etc. The RIA which is platform independent technology allows applications to provide rich client-side interfaces, and allows the browser to interact with users without communication to server. In this paper, we propose a method of spatial data service based on RIA technology. Internet map service using spatial data generally requires rich client-side interfaces and various interactions. These features can be provided by the RIA. The proposed method uses Flash developed by Macromedia as RIA technology. It can be applicable on any platform including mobile environment. The spatial data server makes Flash file known as SWF (Shock Wave File) with manipulation code for map and spatial data that is requested by user, and send it to the web browser. Once the web browser receives a SWF, client SWF manipulates user interactions, such as zooming and panning, without communication with server. Experiments that execute the application on various web browsers including mobile web browser and measure time of map interaction are carried out to compare with traditional bitmap based WMS (Web Map Service). As a result of experiments, we have confirmed improvement of interactivity and performance with RIA approach.

  • According to the recent trend on advancement of web computing technologies and diversification of spatial data types to be processed, designing and implementing of web-based applications using open sources has been regarded as one of important users-needs. In this study, a kind of geo-browser model composed of client-middleware-DBMS stack is suggested, and the prototype implementation are performed. Especially, modularization of user interfaces is contributed to increase both applicability for a certain target system and accessibility for web users. In middleware, it has functions to decrease erroneous factors on spatial data registration processes, and provides spatial data the form of OGC WxS standards. It is thought that this system is helpful to utilize as basic architecture and the related implementation model for web-based geo-spatial services and their applications.

  • 최근 들어 컴퓨터 통신의 확산과 함께 인터넷의 사용이 전 세계적으로 급증함에 따라 인터넷의 용도는 지금까지의 학술 및 연구를 대상으로한 정보 공유의 목적에서 인터넷을 마케팅의 대상으로 보고 이를 상업적으로 이용하려는 시도가 증가하고 있다. 이미 선진 외국의 경우에는 Mon-dex, Visa cash, Proton 등의 다양한 전자화폐 상품이 개발되어 사용되고 있으나 국제 호환성의 측면에서는 아직 미미한 형편이며 국제간 통용이 가능한 개방형 전자화폐 시스템 개발은 매우 필요하다. 소액지불 시스템의 국제 표준규격으로 인정받고 있는 CEPS(Common Electronic Purse Specification) 기반의 개방형 전자화폐 teem 시스템은 EMV(Europay, Master, Visa) 규격을 준용하고, PKI 기반의 보안기능을 채택하여 지불거래시 반드시 확보되어야 할 거래 데이타의 비밀성, 무결성, 부인방지 기능과 PIN(Personal Identification Number)를 이용한 사용자 인증을 제공하며 구매거래시 IC카드와 가맹점의 구매 단말기(POS)와의 오프라인 동적데이타 인증 (Dynamic Data Authentication) 방식의 상호인증을 제공한다. 개방형 전자화폐 teem 시스템의 구성 모듈은 발급, 충전, 구매, 정산, 인증시스템으로 구성되어 있으며, 웹기반의 사용자 인터페이스를 제공하고 DES, 3-DES, SHA-1, RSA, SEED등 다양한 암호 모듈과 다양한 어플리케이션의 탐재가 가능한 Java Card를 기반으로 하고 있으며, VOP(Visa Open Platform) 2.0,1, Java Card API 2.1 지원하는 시스템이다.

  • In accordance with the completion of the spatial database building works in the central and/or local government authorities as well as the rapid popularization of various information services through internet, it is heavily required to provide spatial information services through World Wide Web. To provide a qualified spatial information service, it is crucial to have a Web-based GIS (Geographic Information Service) service system equipped with the publicity, the convenient accessibility, and the easy-to-use user interface. In this paper, we introduce a new component system for Web-based spatial information services based on the OpenGIS Simple Feature specification for OLE/COM[3] and OLE DB specification[4]. The important functionality of a Web-based spatial information service system includes its accessibility of various existing GIS server system and huge databases in addition to the resolution of response-time delay problems caused by transmitting a large amount of digital maps via internet[6]. To cope with these problems, our component system has been designed to access heterogeneous databases in transparent manner and to support vector-based and/or image-based image production techniques for shortening transmission time.

  • As the technology realizing digital multimedia has been developing remarkably based on Internet environment, today we can gain various information we need quickly and easily without regard to time or place by using world wide web. The recent spread of digital animation as a way of communication on Internet has been forming a new communication paradigm according to the development of age. Besides, digital animations embodied on web are a kind of communication medium which is expressed through interactions using different digital multimedia tools and put the concepts of time and space together. This is a form which can cope with various forms of information, and it occupies a high rate on web and is used often. Web animations offer various forms of communication, such as interface structure design for information transfer, characters, typography, and other graphic elements, which make users feel maximized real dynamics. This paper analyzes and evaluates the categories according to the characteristics, information and usage types of digital animations used on web, examines more efficient communication expressions based on them, and pays attention to the Internet environment that will develop and change in the future. With regard to it, this research aims at suggesting a useful theory so that diverse digital animations on web based on Internet environment would develop into a new communication paradigm responding to the change of time.

  • Inference engine that performs the brain of software agent in next generation's web with various standards based on standard language of the web, XML has to understand SWRL (Semantic Web Rule Language) that is a language to express the rule in the Semantic Web. In this research, we want to develop a forward inference engine, SMART-F (SeMantic web Agent Reasoning Tools-Forward chaining inference engine) that uses SWRL as a rule express method, and OWL as a fact express method. In the traditional inference field, the Rete algorithm that improves effectiveness of forward rule inference by converting if-then rules to network structure is often used for forward inference. To apply this to the Semantic Web, we analyze the required functions for the SWRL-based forward inference, and design the forward inference algorithm that reflects required functions of next generation's Semantic Web deducted by Rete algorithm. And then, to secure each platform's independence and portability in the ubiquitous environment and overcome the gap of performance, we developed management tool of fact and rule base and forward inference engine. This is compatible with fact and rule base of SMART-B that was developed. So, this maximizes a practical use of knowledge in the next generation's Web environment.

  • This study aims to train and implement a deep learning model for the fusion of website creation and artificial intelligence, in the era known as the AI revolution following the launch of the ChatGPT service. The deep learning model was trained using 3,000 collected web page images, processed based on a system of component and layout classification. This process was divided into three stages. First, prior research on AI models was reviewed to select the most appropriate algorithm for the model we intended to implement. Second, suitable web page and paragraph images were collected, categorized, and processed. Third, the deep learning model was trained, and a serving interface was integrated to verify the actual outcomes of the model. This implemented model will be used to detect multiple paragraphs on a web page, analyzing the number of lines, elements, and features in each paragraph, and deriving meaningful data based on the classification system. This process is expected to evolve, enabling more precise analysis of web pages. Furthermore, it is anticipated that the development of precise analysis techniques will lay the groundwork for research into AI's capability to automatically generate perfect web pages.

  • In this paper, using the Android App to remote database monitoring system is proposed. Existing remote database monitoring scheme CS(Client / Server) based. Conventional CS based systems are space constraints and a plurality of administrator to access the database at that degrade performance disadvantages. The advantage of the proposed system first, because the web -based interface allows the application program, and also the ease of maintenance, through a web browser, if you have Internet access anytime, anywhere environment without restrictions of time and space monitoring. Second, the proposed system because the App -based technology due to an increase in connection session and query execution does not affect the performance of your database. Third, if there is a problem with the remote database through which social networks immediately notify the administrator of the smartphone in real time so that the administrator can identify the problem.
