  • As the cost of installing and maintaining software on large organizations such as recent companies and schools has increased, software installation and maintenance costs are low, system management is easy, demand for ease of use software solutions has increased. In the reality that special education for service center engineers is required along with the release of various products, training of the software and solution industry is regarded as important. Building Web-based user and system interactive environment, strengthened usability and educational ability effect suitable for engineer level. In the future, research that is familiar with specific software, not successfully combining multiple frameworks, rather than developers, will be increasingly important for research that can achieve optimal performance.

  • The ONCHO system described in this paper is the Primary School Education System Based-on Web Database in order to offer the diverse primary school education services. The main purpose of ONCHO system is to share eduacational learing data of primary school eduacation, to exchange letters, and to evaluate learning contents.

  • 오늘날 교육현장에서는 교육 환경의 변화에 따라 수많은 교구들이 보급, 사용되고 있다. 특히 과학 교구의 경우 실험 실습의 중요성이 강조되면서 과학과에서 큰 비중을 차지하고 있고, 그 종류 및 수량 또한 다른 교구에 비해 많기 때문에 효율적이고 편리한 관리 도구가 필요한 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 요구에 따라 좀 더 편리하고 활용성이 높은 과학 교구 관리 시스템에 관하여 연구한다. 본 연구를 통해 현재 웹 표준으로 자리 잡고 있는 XML을 이용하여 누구나 쉽게 활용하고 공유할 수 있도록 하며, 이식성이 좋은 JAVA 언어를 통해 어느 환경에서든 이용할 수 있도록 하는 과학 교구 관리 시스템을 개발한다.

  • The purpose of this study is to design and implement the web-based counselling system in aspects of learning type and method by PBL in Constructivism. Learning problem is classified into learning difficulty, learning disability, emotional disability, memory/cognition, ADHD(attention deficit hyperactivity disorder), classwork, and school circumstance. Counselling for individual, offline visit, parents, electronic mail, and group with professionals who were involved in the design and implementation of learning counselling were used to supplement the clinic process for learning. The result of this study aims to administer the distance counselling system for learning without prominent computer knowledge. Each learner can solve diverse private learning problems which can be widely applied for situated learning. Also these online strategies by PBL indicate that providing learning types and methods are critical for overall understanding in online counselling system for learning.

  • Education paradigm is moved from traditional face-to-face method to cyber education environment. Therefore, we extracted the components of cyber education system and their detail functions through analysis on the workflow of education and learning standard technology. In addition, we think that template system will make a big role in order to deploy the cyber education system. Therefore, we designed the template system for cyber education. In this paper, we particularly describe both evaluation funrtion on course learning records and statistics function ell evaluation records.

  • The aim of this paper is to develop a network-based collaborative learning system based on cooperative learning, computer simulation, role playing, and web-based instruction, which is called NetClass. It is an educational system of hybrid-type, and supports three learning modes as a distributed network, a stand-alone system, or a web browser. To accomplish the purpose of this paper, we have studied on the following topics. First, we selected appropriate learning contents among dilemmas on information ethics. Second, a Collaborative Dilemma-solving Learning Model (CDLM) was designed, and this model means systematic procedures that leaners can notice others' feeling and thinking and predict the results of his actions by introducing interactions among learners on computer networks. Third, Collaborative Learning System Model based on standard architecture of an educational system was proposed. Fourth, we developed many components such as network components, database components, and interface components.

The Study of Factors Affecting the e-Learning Performance (e-Learning 학습 성과에 영향을 미치는 요인 분석)

  • e-Learning can be seen as not only one of Internet based information systems which can provide education services, but also one of teaching-learning methods which can implement self-directed learning. This paper tests factors affecting the e-Learning performance based on information systems success model and self-efficacy theory using a field study. Questionnaires are collected from 216 students who are enrolling a e-learning class using online survey. The results are following: first, the service quality and self-efficacy are significant predictors of use intention, but system quality and information quality are not. second, the system quality, information quality, service quality and self-efficacy are significant predictors of user satisfaction. Third, use intention and user satisfaction are found to be a strong predictor of the learning performance.

  • This paper implements the graphic service template authoring tool based on the service template object model of describing the meta information of the services for early childhood education in the semantic web service environment. Our proposed system provides the robot services by constructing web services automatically and making the appropriate service plans. Moreover, it can create, append, delete, and update the service templates of URC based on STDL, and provide the graphic function on service template resources. In order to provide the user friendly environment in the service template phase, we implement the various editing environment : flow view style, grid view style, and text view style. We also provide the easy editing function by realizing abstract service block based on the robot API. Finally we can offer the intelligent and autonomous service of service agent based on semantic information.

  • The biggest strength of the Internet is to enable to access information without any limitation of time and space. As the Internet and IT technologies have been developed, various kinds of teaching ways in education field such as remote lectures, video lectures, and CAI(Computer Adapted Instruction) have emerged. In terms of education, evaluation can be a basic foundation to help teach students in the next learning stage according to each student's level. In addition, it is able to give the information of students'abilities and provides proper learning programs to teach students on a case-by-case basis. The purpose of the paper is to establish evaluation system on the WWW(World Wide Web) that can reflect learning activities part of students in their evaluation scores based on the two important learning theories, Behaviorism and constructivism, which are mainly used in evaluation procedures to judge learning ability of students. This system will give information about learners, and analyze the learning interest of learners. The proposed system enables teachers to evaluate learning ability of students through various kinds of information of learners, and to execute level-based education.

  • We introduce our experiences of the design and implementation of the Page Together system that has expanded hyperlink metaphor to utilize human resources in the web. This system supports that a user connects with others in the web, communicates through video/audio channel, navigates same web pages simultaneously and cooperates some work on Internet. For these functions, it comprises Collaborative Browsing Module (CBM), Multimedia Conferencing Module(MCM) Data Conferencing Module(I)CM) and Multi Protocol Interface(MPI). We adopted three standard protocols, IEC, H.323 and T.120 for each nodule and it allows developers to use them easily. We also defined MPI to synchronize information of session among modules. Each module exchanges information each other in session creating process and session terminating process. After a session is created once, each module works independently as its won protocol. Interferences among modules are reduced as minimizing to exchange information. We also introduce a web site that provides web board service based on the Page Together system. A user may post a notice with a link to himself/herself on our web board. After then, if someone read that notice and has any question about it, he or she can try to connect to the writer as clicking the link in that notice and communicate each other. This service site shows that our system can be applied to diverse internet services such as distance teaming and distance conference.
