A Study on Methodology for Protection of Malicious Traffic in Groupware Network System (그룹웨어시스템상의 악성트래픽 차단 네트워크구조 설계방법)

  • The blocking of malicious traffic in groupware network system is used to prevent the spread and distribution of malicious traffic. The method protecting from malicious traffic in groupware system is designed to handle the malicious traffic of various routes with the internal course of groupware, which leads to lighten the load of security and traffic. It was impossible to block this kind of traffic at the traditional structure. When the protection of the proposed groupware system is performed, there appears to be a great change for the rate of a load factor at the CPU of Backbone Switch which is connected to the internal gateway. The load factor of CPU, which was increased with the traffic, is now remarkably reduced after the internal gateway is set up. This is to show that a lot of malicious traffic pass through the internal network and that network environment is faced to the menace of many malicious traffics. This paper is to show the efficiency of protection of internal gateway proposed in this study, for the rate of CPU of Backbone Switch was about 17% a day, but was dropped up to the 4% after the malicious traffic was removed.

Space-Frequency Adaptive Image Restoration Using Vaguelette-Wavelet Decomposition (공간-주파수 적응적 영상복원을 위한 Vaguelette-Wavelet분석 기술)

  • In this paper, we present a novel space-frequency adaptive image restoration approach using vaguelette-wavelet decomposition (VWD). The proposed algorithm classifies a degraded image into flat and edge regions by using spatial information of the wavelet coefficient. For reducing the noise we perform an adaptive wavelet shrinkage process. At edge region candidates, we adopt entropy approach for estimating the noise and remove it by using relative between sub-bands. After shrinking wavelet coefficients process, we restore the degraded image using the VWD. The proposed algorithm can reduce the noise without affecting the sharpness details. Based on the experimental results, the proposed algorithm efficiently proved to be able to restore the degraded image while preserving details.

Harmonic ACK Transmissions from Multiple Gateway considering the Quasi-Orthogonal Characteristic of LoRa CSS Spreading Factors (LoRa CSS 확산 인자의 준직교 특성을 고려한 수신응답의 다중 게이트웨이 조화 전송 기법)

  • In this paper, we propose a novel MAC protocol based on the harmonic transmission of ACK, called HAT-LoRa, for improving the reliability and the utilization in multiple gateway LoRa Networks. LoRa is basically vulnerable to collision due to the primitive pure ALOHA-like MAC. Whereas data frame delivery can be guaranteed by the transparent bridge of multiple receiving gateways, ACK is still transmitted by a single gateway in LoRa Network. HAT-LoRa provides the augmented reception opportunity of ACK via the simultaneous transmissions of identical ACK in multiple spreading factors. The proposed method reduces the expected transmission times of ACK double gateway environment as well as single gateway environment, by 55 and 60% in maximum, by 35% and 40% in average, in a single- and double-gateway environment, respectively. Especially, it outperforms under the environment where the distance between end device and gateways are similar to each other.

Supercompact Multiwavelets for Three Dimensional Flow Field Simulation (3차원 유동 시뮬레이션을 위한 Supercompact 다중 웨이블릿)

  • This paper presents a supercompact multi-wavelet scheme and its application to fluid simulation data. The supercompact wavelet method is an appropriate wavelet for fluid simulation data in the sense that it can provide compact support and avoid unnecessary interaction with remotely located data (e.g. across a shock discontinuity or vortices). thresholding for data compression is applied based on a covariance vector structure of multi-wavelets. The extension of this scheme to three dimensions is analyzed. The numerical tests demonstrate that it can allow various analytic advantages as well as large data compression ratios in actual practice.

Image Watermarking using Wavelet Transform and Human Visual System (웨이블릿 변환 및 인간 시각 시스템을 이용한 원문 워터마킹)

  • As multimedia data and their applications are rapidly distributed on the Web, the research on watermark insertion and integrity assurance vigorously increases. In this paper, Discrete Wavelet Transformation dissolves an original image into the three level of low, middle, and high bandwidths. Human Visual System with the significant coefficients extracted from the middle obtains enhanced image quality and robustness using watermark insertion. Experimental results show that various attacks cannot destroy pre-inserted watermark and recovered image is of good quality by measuring PSNR.

Wavelet Packet Based Watermarking Using PIM (PIM을 이용한 웨이블릿 패킷 기반 워터마킹)

  • In this paper, a novel watermarking technique that based on wavelet packet transform using PIM is proposed for the copyright of the digital images. We divide wavelet packet coefficients into detailed blocks and calculate the complexity of each block using PIM. Because human is impervious to the change in the complex area, the embedding watermark to the selected coefficients using PIM enhances invisibility. From the experimental results, the proposed algorithm shows better invisibility and robustness performance in a general signal processing such as JPEG and SPIHT lossy compression, median filtering. Especially, it demonstrates better performance for the low bit-rate compression in the images that include many high frequency components.

  • 본 논문에서는 웨이블렛에 기반한 FLD(Fisher Linear Discriminant) 방법을 제안한다. 본 논문은 얼굴인식에 대한 속도와 정확성을 다룬다. 128×128의 해상도를 가진 영상은 웨이블렛 변환을 통해 16×16의 부영상들로 분해된 후에, 저대역과 중대역에 해당하는 두 개의 부영상을 사용하여 학습과 인식을 한다. 실험 결과, 제안된 방법은 기존의 FLD 방법의 인식률을 유지하며, 보다 더 빠른 속도를 가진다. 우리의 실험에서는 약 6배의 속도 향상을 보인다.

  • 현재 내용 기반 검색에 대해서 많은 연구가 이루어지고 있다. 본 논문은 이러한 내용기반 검색 방법중에서 영상의 방향 성분을 이용한 텍스쳐 영상 검색 방법을 제안한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 검색방법은 웨이블릿(Wavelet) 변화후에 생기는 고대역 부밴드들의 Energy 값을 가지고 텍스쳐 영상의 방향 성분을 구한 다음에 방향 성분에 따른 고대역 부밴드의 Energy와 저대역 부밴드의 GLCM(Gray Level Co-occurence Matrix) Energy 값을 가지고 텍스쳐 영상을 검색하도록 하는 방식으로, 실험을 통해서 검색시 좋은 결과를 보여주는 것을 알 수 있었다.

  • 중국 대학생의 미니블로그 이용 시, 이용동기에 있어서 두 매체 모두 '정보공유', '자아존재감', '대인커뮤니케이션', '엔터테인먼트' 요인이 나타났으며, 모바일에서는 '유명인 접근성'요인이 추가적으로 나타났다. 충족요인에 있어서 두 매체 모두 '콘텐츠', '사회적 교류', '관계형성' 요인이 나타났으며, 두 매체의 차이로 PC의 '기능성', '편리성' 요인에 반해, 모바일에서는 '정보공유', '엔터테인먼트'요인이 나타났다.

Video Watermarking Using wavelet transform and spread code (웨이블릿 변환과 확산코드를 이용한 동영상 워터마킹)

  • 본 논문에서는 웨이블릿 변환과 확산코드를 이용하여 동영상 내부에 이진이미지패턴형 워터마크를 삽입할 수 있는 새로운 워터마킹 방법을 소개한다. 먼저, 동영상을 디코딩하여 RGB 데이터로 이루어진 인트라 프레임(I-frame)들을 구한다. 그리고 이것을 YC$_{b}$C$_{r}$ 좌표공간으로 변환한 후, 휘도 평면만을 3단계 DWT하여 확산코드와 다중가중치를 조합한 워터마크를 삽입한다. 실험에서는 제안한 방법으로 워터마킹된 영상의 화질을 기존의 방법들과 비교하고, 손실압축과 밝기(brightness)변화 그리고 대비(contrast)실험 등을 통해 제안한 방법의 견고성을 입증해 보인다.
