Electronical Property of BSCCO Tube Fabricated by Centrifugal Melting Process (원심 용융 성형공정으로 제조된 BSCCO 튜브의 전기적 특성)

  • 전력에 큰 손실을 초래하는 고장전류를 차단하기 위한 한류기(FCL) 소재로서 고온 초전도체인 BSCCO 2212가 사용된다. 고온에서 용융된 BSCCO 2212 분말은 원심성형법에 의해 한류기용 튜브로 제조되었다. BSCCO 튜브의 기계적 특성을 높이고 용융온도를 낮추기 위해 $SrSO_4$(10wt-%)를 첨가하였다. 용탕은 $1200^{\circ}C$에서 완전히 용융되어 금속 몰드로 주입되었고 원심성형에 사용되는 금속 몰드는 $550^{\circ}C$ 온도로 2시간 예열 후 1020 ~ 2520 RPM으로 회전시켰다. 원심력에 의해 성형된 BSCCO 튜브는 약 48시간 동안 로에서 서냉 후 금속 몰드로부터 분리하였다. 튜브의 용이한 분리를 위해 이형제로서 BSCCO 2212 powder를 사용하였고 임계전류측정을 고려하여 Ag tape 단자를 튜브 끝단에 부착하였다. BSCCO 제조 공정에 있어서 몰드의 예열온도, 용융온도, 몰드 회전속도 등의 변수를 조절하여 최적의 조건을 확립하였다. 제조한 BSCCO 튜브의 임계전류($I_c$)와 임계전류밀도($J_c$)는 77K에서 536A와 $205A/cm^2$ 이었다. 본 연구에서는 BSCCO 2212 튜브를 제조하는 공정조건 변화와 각 조건에서 제조된 BSCCO 2212 튜브의 전기적 특성 및 그에 따른 분석에 대해 기술하였다.

Evaluation of the Load Carrying Capacity on a Rahmen Bridge with Ultra-high Strength Centrifugally Formed Square Beams as the Superstructure (초고강도 원심성형 각형보를 상부구조로 하는 라멘교의 내하성능 평가 )

  • An ultra-high strength prestressed prismatic beam of 100 MPa in compressive strength was developed by increasing the water-tightness of concrete by utilizing centrifugal molding processes without adding expensive admixtures. The centrifugal prismatic PSC beam developed as the superstructure of the avalanche tunnel was constructed on a rahmen bridge in a small local river. In this study, the centrifugal prismatic beam was compared and analyzed based on the results of measurements made through static load tests and the results of numerical analysis of the target structure. The common load-carrying capacity and safety of the rahmen bridge were evaluated. The static·dynamic load tests and finite element analysis results of this bridge were similar, and it was confirmed that the behavior of the centrifugal prismatic beam was well simulated. All centrifugally formed square beams that make up the composite rahmen bridge were evaluated to secure sufficient load carrying capacity under the design live load, and structural reliability was proven by ensuring safety.

  • An ultra-high strength prestressed prismatic beam of 100 MPa in compressive strength was developed by increasing the watertightness of concrete by utilizing centrifugal molding processes without adding expensive admixtures such as silica fume. The ultra-high strength centrifugal shaped square beam installed on the wall is composited with the upper slab concrete and then subjected to a service load. Horizontal shear stress is generated by bending between the centrifugal molding beam and the floor plate, which causes the beam and floor plate to perform composite behavior through shear connections such as studs and rebars. In this study, a flexural load test was performed on a mock-up specimen that was synthesized by fabricating an RC slab on top of a 100 MPa-class centrifugal shaped beam produced at the factory. proven reliability.

  • The purpose of our study was to develop the fabrication method of porous diatomite ceramics with a porosity gradient by centrifugal molding. The processing variables of centrifugal molding were derived from Stoke's law of sedimentation, which were the radius of the particles, the acceleration due to centrifugal molding and the dynamic viscosity of the slurry. And these could be controlled by ball-milling conditions, centrifugal conditions, and the addition of methyl cellulose, respectively. The effects of processing conditions on the gradient pore structure of diatomite were investigated by particle size analysis, scanning electron microscope, and mercury porosimeter.

Fabrication of Photocatalytic TiO2 thin Film Using Aerosol Deposition Method and its Filtration Characteristics (에어로졸 증착법을 이용한 광촉매 TiO2 박막 제조 및 박막의 여과 특성)

  • The objective of this study is to evaluate the effect of operational parameters such as rotation speed and vibrating milling time for the fabrication of photocatalytic $TiO_2$ thin film using aerosol deposition methods. $TiO_2$ powders produced in the range of 1,000-3,000 rpm of rotation speed of centrifugal separator are ineffective on the fabrication of $TiO_2$ thin film by aerosol deposition due to the problem of nozzle powder jam. $TiO_2$ powders controlled by vibrating milling had about 420 nm of average diameter after 2 hr of vibrating milling time. The result of XRD analysis indicated that $TiO_2$ powders had a anatase phase. Vibrating milling methods was considered to be an effective pre-treatment process for $TiO_2$ powder control. Consequently $TiO_2$ photocatalytic thin film with dispersion of anatase crystallites controled by vibrating milling was successfully fabricated by aerosol deposition. The permeation flux of $TiO_2$ photocatalytic thin film with the immobilized $TiO_2$ powder was higher than that of suspended $TiO_2$ powder. Therefore, $TiO_2$ photocatalytic thin film promises to be one of the effective methods for enhancing filtration performance for the treatment of organic pollutants.
