최근의 로봇에 대한 연구를 살펴보면 인간-로봇 상호작용과 시스템의 통합에 관련된 연구가 증가하고 있음을 알 수 있다. 또한 인식 및 인지에 관련된 요소기술들은 이미 상당한 수준에 올라서 있다. 이를 바탕으로 전 세계적인 로봇연구의 추세는 요소기술들의 통합을 통하여 완전한 개체로서의 로봇을 만들려고 하고 있으며 상업화된 시장으로 끌어내려는 쪽으로 변화하고 있다. 그러나 로봇을 상업화된 시장으로 끌어내기 위한 다양한 연구와 노력에도 불구하고 많은 부분에서 부족한 것이 현실이며, 지금까지 개별적으로 개발된 각 요소기술의 통합 또한 필수적이다. 특히 인간과 비슷한 인지능력의 확보를 위한 불확실성 극복능력과 개별적인 요소기술의 성능에만 의지하지 않는 인식능력의 확보는 서비스로봇의 신뢰성 향상을 위하여 필수적이다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해서 행위적 인지 개념을 제안하였으며 Cognitive Robotic Engine을 통하여 이를 구현하여 상용화된 서비스로봇 플랫폼에 적용하여 실험하였다.

A smart city refers to an intelligent city solving problems arising from the concentration its population using IT technology. Various services such as safety, transportation, environment, education, and medical care are provided in a smart city. Still, the degree of service experienced by the residents is lower compared to the technological maturity. Hence, the service acceptance intention factor needs to be improved. In this study, User Characteristic and Service Characteristic variables were identified separately to improve the awareness and experience of smart services among citizens of the smart city and analyze the intention of easy service acceptance. Based on the results, the present study is expected to improve citizen's quality of life and form a happy society. This improvement in citizens and society is achieved by drawing active participation from citizens and investments from the government and private enterprise through solving various problems in the city.

Serials subscription prices continue to escalate but university library budgets of those have not grown concurrently at the same rate. In fact, library budgets of serials subscription have decreased as a percentage of total library expenditure. Also titles with little or no use should be cancelled to make room for new serials that might be needed to reflect new research interests or changes in curriculum. This study includes overview of the serials cancellation and substitute solutions for subscriptions in university library. Taking into account costs and coverages, availability of cancelled serials through interlibrary loan is high in general. There is a potential for considerable savings by providing access to low-use titles, and that is a combination of commercial document delivery and pay per view based on e-business could be a viable alternative to subscription in many cases.

This study examines the way of making use of the science journals sharing with many users, who even do not work for the same institute. It may help to make the information as much as available with minimum financial burden to users. This is needed expecially when we recognize the fact that the amount of information supply is being increased rapidly while the financial environments around us are becoming aggravated.

This research defines research support service, and compares the support service provided by college libraries in Korea and overseas. The findings showed that the frequency of college library service in Korean schools were low. Korean college libraries' services were mostly limited to the services of a normal library such as bibliographic education, full text service, and interlibrary loan service. To put it differently, Korean college libraries lacked information services on research ethics. Research spot services per research stage were mostly restricted to the data collection stage, and deficient elsewhere. On the other hand, college libraries in the U.S. were providing a platform for scholarly communication between researcher and scholars via websites.

In this paper, we propose a wireless scheduling algorithm to provide the Internet delay proportional differentiated services in wireless networks. For considering network environments that have burst and location-dependent channel errors, our proposed WDPS(Wireless Delay Proportional Service) scheduling algorithm adaptively serves packets in class queues based on the delivered delay performance for each class. The remarkable characteristics of WDPS scheduler are supporting a fair relative delay service, providing graceful throughput and delay compensation, and avoiding class queue blocking problem. Through simulations, we show that the algorithm achieves the desirable properties to provide delay proportional services in wireless networks.

본 논문은 실시간으로 변하는 사용자의 감정 상태에 적응하여 IoT 조명을 제어를 통해 조명 치료 서비스를 제공하는 시스템을 제안한다. 이를 위해서는 사용자 및 조명의 현재 상태를 인지하고 색상 및 조도를 원하는 상태로 실시간 제어 가능해야 하기에 REST 방식의 API 를 설계하고 구현하였다. 제안하는 시스템은 기존의 조명들을 통합적으로 관리하기 어려웠던 문제를 해결하고 이를 기반하여 조명 치료에 적용하여 사용자에게 편리한 사용성과 조명을 다양한 방법으로 활용할 수 있는 확장성을 제공할 것이다. 제안하는 시스템은 업무공간, 호텔, 가정 등 다양한 장소에서 이용되고, 홈 IoT 디바이스 시장이 확장하고 있는 현시점과 맞물려 사용자들에게 충분한 이용가치를 지닌 시스템이 될 것으로 기대된다.

Public service provision through internet is one of major parts for e-government implementation. It is essential to link the internal administrative network with internet to provide the services through internet and to support kiosks through internet, which should result in critical issues for security. A relay server, as a front server for the public service processing system and a web server, a control server for kiosks, are placed between the public service processing system and kiosks to solve those security issues. It is the way to solve security issues through protecting direct communication between the public service processing system and a web server and authenticating a relay server and a web server through authentication process. In the implementation of the system this paper provide a design for an architecture model of the public service processing system through internet, which are aiming to develop high level of the quality system effectively, to reduce the risk of initial stage of development, and to reduce the incurring cost due to reworks.

The purpose of this study is to overview and analyze the commercial document delivery systems. to this end, the study first compared the current systems under three headings, that is, non-collection-based systems(Infotrieve, OCLC, UnCover, BIDS, Swets & Zeitlinger, Kyobobook), collection-based systems(EBSCO, ISI, UMI, BLDSC, CISTI, INIST, NCSI, JICST, KINITI), and specialized collection-based systems(Engineering Information Inc., IEEE/IEE, BIOSIS, CAS, NAL, RSC, TWI, ADONIS). Next, the study analyzeed the advantages and disadvantages of each system, based on the four performance criteria : scope of inventory/journal coverage, turnaround time, delivery ost and payment options, reliability and satisfaction rate.

This study surveyed residents and public officials for the projects to make smart-city plans of Geumsan-gun. First, domestic and foreign cases related to smart city projects were reviewed. The local status of Geumsan-gun was investigated regarding various aspects of the natural, social, urban environment, and smart-city facilities. The survey results were as follows. Overall, more than half of the survey respondents said they were satisfied with their housing quality. Several problems in their areas, such as inefficient welfare system, shortage of parking space, and industrial infrastructure, were reported. On the other hand, tourism and leisure facilities, health care support systems, industries to boost the economy, and the job market were also important issues. The problem was that the regional problems mentioned above were not in line with their preferences for smart-city services. The implications of the survey results could be summed up as follows. The groupware surveys of Geumsan-gun should be used as survey tools, whereas IT survey tools (Google, Survey Monkey, etc.) should be used for locals. In particular, a survey targeting residents should ask plain and compact questions taking advantage of local gatherings. It is also important to have a pilot-survey with relevant public officials and select related projects and regional issues. The survey of local residents and public officials is a prerequisite for promoting smart city projects. The smart city project shall reflect the needs of residents while solving community problems by considering the survey results and local conditions.
