  • In this paper we designed and implemented a wireless communication circuit which can control the remote devices integrating RFID and ZigBee. This system unifies transmit part and receive part. And this system recognizes RFID tag data, then the recognized information is controlled by MCU, and transmitted to a remote device through the ZigBee. This is operated on TinyOS. If this system is applied to a entrance security system, it can permit/deny one's entrance as well as control the personal computer or other electronic devices. Our experiment shows the result of the recognized data transmission is very different according to a opened playground and a closed place. The data transmission time is stable in the indoor and the data transmission distance is long in the outdoor. We anticipate that our system be applied the various office oriented domains by connecting to the Wired LAN or the WLAN of IEEE 802.11x category.

Dynamic Gesture Recognition for the Remote Camera Robot Control (원격 카메라 로봇 제어를 위한 동적 제스처 인식)

  • This study is proposed the novel gesture recognition method for the remote camera robot control. To recognize the dynamics gesture, the preprocessing step is the image segmentation. The conventional methods for the effectively object segmentation has need a lot of the cole. information about the object(hand) image. And these methods in the recognition step have need a lot of the features with the each object. To improve the problems of the conventional methods, this study proposed the novel method to recognize the dynamic hand gesture such as the MMS(Max-Min Search) method to segment the object image, MSM(Mean Space Mapping) method and COG(Conte. Of Gravity) method to extract the features of image, and the structure of recognition MLPNN(Multi Layer Perceptron Neural Network) to recognize the dynamic gestures. In the results of experiment, the recognition rate of the proposed method appeared more than 90[%], and this result is shown that is available by HCI(Human Computer Interface) device for .emote robot control.

  • The Growth in wireless Internet has made Networking possible at anytime and anywhere so that application program development is vigorous for mobile service implementation. In particular, mobile service has a feature that can present flexible service at anytime, and anywhere. This study proposes a system which is able to make a remote control of computer by means of mobile as an example of the production of application for such mobile service. This paper researches a RDP(Remote Desktop Protocol), VNC(Virtual Network Computing) system that control screen of remote computer and input devices by using smart-phone. The advantage of this system is the function that turning on and off the computer, file transfer, file upload/download, and paperwork. Therefore users are expected to use more conveniently.

  • Miniaturization of equipments which have wireless network function and sensor have changed utilization method of computer in daily life, and have contributed to development for ubiquitous computing environment. In this paper, we design camera control system based wireless mobile and web-environmental through which nurse, doctor and family of patient can share and observe the information on condition of patient in hospital. Besides, this camera control system makes it possible to integrate diverse equipments of hospital into one system, and to conduct remote control function which can be applied to the patient control system. It is impossible to control shooting direction of camera apparatus in a remote area for observing patient in a hospital room through general web camera. So in this paper, we showed new design; we attached step motor which can rotate 360 degrees to web camera, and the step motor can operate through control board. Besides, we developed application for two environments, mobile and web-based environment, which enables us to offer proper efficiency in accordance with condition of observer through observation of control and collected image data.

  • In this paper, an exoskeleton-type motion capturing system is designed and implemented. The device is designed to have 12 degree-of-freedom entirely to represent human arm motions. Forward and inverse kinematics of the device are analyzed to make sure of its singular positions. With the designed model parameters, simulation studies are conducted to verify that the designed motion capturing system is effective to represent human motions within the workspace. As a counterpart of the exoskeleton system, a mobile robot is built to follow human motion restrictively. Experimental studies of teleoperation from the exoskeleton device to control the mobile robot are carried out to show feasible application of wireless man-machine interface.

  • 현대사회에서 네트윅이 차지하는 비중은 점점 커져가고 있다. 따라서 네트윅을 활용할 수 있는 많은 노력들이 이루어지고 있다. 네트웍 프로토콜의 하나인 TCP/IP프로토콜을 이용한 LAN은 다른 정보를 처리하는 장치들을 연결하고, 자원을 공유하며, 고속의 통신을 가능하게하는 시스템이다. 본 논문은 TCP/IP 프로토콜과 장비와 장비 사이의 직렬 통신 방법인 RS232를 연계하는 게이트웨이를 통한 시스템 제어와 모니터링을 목적으로 하고자 한다. 제어 대상 시스템은 여러 가지의 적용이 가능하지만 본 논문을 위해 80C19SKC CPU로 제어되는 스텝 모터를 사용하였다.

  • 전화를 이용하여 원격의 장치를 모니터링하고 제어하는 시스템 중 본 논문에서는 IP-PBX(private branch exchange)기반 서비스 플랫폼을 응용서비스를 실제 구현하여 전화응용서비스 개발의 필수적인 몇 가지 요소로써 IP-PBX, 서비스 서버, TTS(Text to Speech) 서버 등을 선정하며 IVR(Interactive Voice Response)시스템을 설정하기에 많은 시간과 비용이 들기에 ZigBee 디바이스 모니터링 및 제어를 위한 IP-PBX 트리 구조 인터페이스를 제안한다.

  • 스마트 기기의 보급은 산업 및 개인생활의 많은 영향을 주었으며, 스마트 기기를 이용한 다양한 서비스 모델에 대한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 특히 오픈 소스 프로그래밍 언어로 부각되고 있는 프로세싱(Prodessing) 개발 환경을 사용하여 안드로이드 운영체제를 사용하는 모바일 장치에 대한 어플리케이션을 간단하고 쉽게 만들 수 있다는 장점이 있다. 이런한 프로세싱 기반의 개발환경을 통하여 개발된 안드로이드 어플리케이션은 식물공장의 전체적인 환경요소를 모니터링 함과 동시에 단순화된 식물공장 내부를 원격에서 관리하고 제어할 수 있는 종합적인 관리시스템을 설계하고자 한다. 본 논문에서는 MIT 미디어 구룹에서 시작된 프로세싱 개발환경을 통하여 안드로이드 기반의 어플리케이션을 개발하여 식물공장에 대한 환경 모니터링과 환경 제어시스템을 제안하고자 한다.

  • The animatronics technique could be very important fact of technique not only to achieve full completion of visible image but also to offer lots of chances to express images by merging CG, special effects and special devices. In this thesis, we design and implement the Zigbee-based wireless transceiver and communication program to control animal animatronics such as a dog and bear. The wireless control utilizing the Zigbee protocol is that electrically consumption is more small than the Bluetooth and reliability of data transmission is better. The implemented control systems and program have the normal and replay function for control of animal models. This functions and operability are tested by a designed animatronics prototype under the wireless environment.
