A study on Access Control Model for Home Network (홈 네트워크 접근 제어 모델에 관한 연구)

  • As various mobile technologies, sensor technologies, remote control and infrastructure are developing and expectations on quality of life are increasing, a lot of researches and developments on home network technologies and services are actively on going. Until now, we focused on how to provide users with high-level home network services, while not many researches on home network security for guaranteeing safety are progressing, So, in this paper, we propose an access control model for home network that provides various users with home network services up one's characteristics and features, and protects home network systems from illegal accesses or intrusions.

  • This research developed chemical flow control system(CFCS) essential for spinner equipment in nano semiconductor manufacturing process under the 100nm to prevent complex process defect due to missing spread after chemical injection. The devices developed in this research, which can be swiftly replaced in case abnormal state element changes or wafer manufacturing defect occurs, are anticipated to improve module yield as well as real-time monitoring on the state element. In addition, as a result of mounting H/W and S/W system to control detailed operation sequence in production line and executing performance check and verification, we can be exactly detected in five abnomal process type.

  • 음성은 가장 익숙하고 편리한 의사 소통 수단으로 스마트폰과 같이 크기가 작은 모바일 기기의 입력 인터페이스로 적합하다. 서버 기반의 음성 인식은 서버를 방문하는 다양한 사용자들을 대상으로 음성 모델을 구축하기 때문에 음성 인식률을 높일 수 있고 상용화가 가능하다. 구글 음성인식, 아이폰의 시리(SiRi)가 대표적인 예이며 최근 스마트폰 사용자의 증가로 이에 대한 수요가 급증하고 있다. 서버 기반 음성 인식 기법에서 음성 인식은 스마트폰과 인터넷으로 연결되어 있는 원격지 서버에서 이루어진다. 따라서, 사용자는 스마트폰에 저장된 음성 데이터를 인터넷을 통하여 음성 인식 서버로 전달해야 된다[1, 2]. 음성 데이터는 사용자 고유 정보를 가지고 있으므로 개인 인증 및 식별을 위한 용도로 사용될 수 있으며 음성의 톤, 음성 신호의 피치, 빠르기 등을 통해서 사용자의 감정까지도 판단 할 수 있다[3]. 서버 기반 음성 인식에서 네트워크로 전송되는 사용자 음성 데이터는 제 3 자에게 쉽게 노출되기 때문에 화자의 신분 및 감정이 알려지게 되어 프라이버시 침해를 받게 된다. 본 논문에서는 화자의 프라이버시를 보호하기 위하여 사용자 음성 데이터로부터 개인의 고유 특징 및 현재 상태를 파악할 수 있는 감정 정보를 제거하는 기법을 설계 및 구현하였다.

  • iATA(Internet Advanced Technology Attachment)는 TCP/IP 네트워크를 통해 원격의 대용량의 가상 저장 공간을 자신의 로컬 디스크 처럼 활용이 가능하게 하는 기술로 이는 모바일 기기(PDA, 휴대폰 등)와 같은 저장 공간의 부족문제를 가지고 있는 장치에 적용하여 저장 공간의 부족 문제를 근본적으로 해결할 수 있는 솔루션이라 할 수 있다. iATA는 SCSI 하드디스크가 장착된 시스템에서만 서버를 구축해야만 하는 iSCSI와는 달리 일반 가정이나 사무실에서 주로 사용하는 ATA 하드 디스크에도 서버 구축이 가능한 확장성을 가지고 있으며 이는 iATA의 최대 장점 중 하나라 할 수 있다. 또한, Web 사이트를 통해 많은 사람들이 iATA 서비스를 이용하여 자신의 모바일 기기에서의 저장공간 문제를 극복할 수 있으며, 최근 사회 문제로 크게 대두되고 있는 개인 정보 유출의 폐해를 막기 위해 개인 인증시 OpenSSL과 MD5를 이용한 보안/암호화 기법을 사용하여 개인 정보 유출에 의한 불이익 및 개인 정보 악용으로 인한 범죄를 막을 수 있다. 하지만, 기존의 iATA상에서는 디스크 관리가 서버에서만 가능하다는 문제점이 있다. 즉, 사용자만의 개인공간을 가질 수가 없다. 이처럼 개인 사진이나, 다이어리같은 정보들을 관리 할 수 없는 문제점을 해결하기 위해 클라이언트에서 자신만의 디스크 공간을 가질 수 있게 파티션을 할당해주고, 그 공간을 클라이언트만의 공간으로 만들어 주는 기술을 개발하는데 그 목적이 있다.

  • AMI (Advanced Metering Infrastructure) is a core infrastructure of Smart Grid, and is promoting in various country. Wireless network is considered for cost savings and operational efficiencies in AMI. But various security problems are expected in wireless networks of AMI, so we should solve these problems. In this paper, we suggest a wireless network of AMI by using Binary CDMA and security countermeasures of AMI wireless network. Proposed security architecture is using BSIM (Binary Subscriber Identity Module) to perform user authentication and key agreement for the encryption and decryption over radio network to reduce security threats.

  • Due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, which has led to a shift towards remote work, the frequency of external access to important internal resources by companies has increased exponentially, exposing them to various security threats. In order to address these access security issues, ZTA (Zero Trust Architecture) has gained attention. ZTA operates on the principle of not trusting external or internal users, and manages access authentication and authorization strictly according to pre-established policies. This paper analyzes the definition of ZTA and key research trends, and summarizes different ZTA solutions for each company.

  • 폐쇄적 무선망 및 단말 플랫폼의 개방화 추세에 따라 이동통신사업자(MNO)는 자사 고객 retention 및 신규 수익창출을 위해 다양한 전략을 수립하고 있다. 그리고 고객은 이러한 개방 환경에서 이동통신사업자(MNO)의 단말 및 망에 구애받지 않고 자신의 개인정보 및 멀티미디어 컨텐츠 서비스를 편리하게 이용하기를 원하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 와이브로(WiBro)가입자 인증을 위해 단말에 필수 탑재되는 UICC 에 웹 기능 및 대용량 메모리 기술을 추가하여 이를 기반으로 개인화 서비스 제공을 위한 인프라 구축 사례를 살펴본다. 먼저, UICC 기반 개인화 서비스 인프라를 구성하는 UICC 및 단말에서 구현되어야 할 SCWS 및 대용량 메모리 처리 기술을 소개하고 이를 위한 기술 요구사항을 정의한다. 그리고, 해당 UICC 및 단말을 원격에서 관리하기 위해 플랫폼에서 구현하여야 할 제어 프로토콜 기술을 살펴보고, 이를 위한 기술 요구사항을 정의한다. 다음으로 최종적으로 구축된 전체 시스템의 구성 및 서비스 흐름을 기술하고, 끝으로 이러한 인프라를 통하여 제공될 수 있는 개인화 서비스를 소개하고 향후 방향을 소개함으로써 글을 맺는다.

Development of Parallel Short Forms of the Convergent Thinking and Problem Solving Inventory Utilizing Item Response Theory : A Case Study of Students in H University (문항반응이론을 적용한 융합적 사고 및 문제해결 역량진단 도구의 병렬 단축형 개발 : H 대학교를 중심으로)

  • The study was conducted to develop two parallel short forms for the Convergent thinking and Problem solving questionnaires which are part of H University's core competency diagnostic tools, based on Multi-Item Response Theory. Item responses of 2,580 students were analyzed using Graded Response Model(GRM) to determine item difficulty and discrimination of each item. The research results are as follows. Two parrallel short tests were developed for the Convergent thinking questionnaire consisting of 12 items which were originally 17 items. Likewise, the Problem solving questionnaire, which originally consisted of 15 questions, was divided into two parallel short forms, each consisting of 9 items. The reliability of the shortened parallel tests was confirmed through internal consistency analysis, and their similarity to the original tests was established through correlation analysis. This study contributed to quality management of competency-based education and programs at H University by developing shortened tests. Based on the results, implications were presented as well as limitations and discussions.

A Study on the Legislation for the Commercial and Civil Unmanned Aircraft System Operation (국내 상업용 민간 무인항공기 운용을 위한 법제화 고찰)

  • Nowadays, major advanced countries in aviation technology are putting their effort to develop commercial and civil Unmanned Aircraft System(UAS) due to its highly promising market demand in the future. The market scale of commercial and civil UAS is expected to increase up to approximately 8.8 billon U.S. dollars by the year 2020. The usage of commercial and civil UAS covers various areas such as remote sensing, relaying communications, pollution monitoring, fire detection, aerial reconnaissance and photography, coastline monitoring, traffic monitoring and control, disaster control, search and rescue, etc. With the introduction of UAS, changes need to be made on current Air Traffic Management Systems which are focused mainly manned aircrafts to support the operation of UAS. Accordingly, the legislation for the UAS operation should be followed. Currently, ICAO's Unmanned Aircraft System Study Group(UASSG) is leading the standardization process of legislation for UAS operation internationally. However, some advanced countries such as United States, United Kingdom, Australia have adopted its own legislation. Among these countries, United States is most forth going with President Obama signing a bill to integrate UAS into U.S. national airspace by 2015. In case of Korea, legislation for the unmanned aircraft system is just in the beginning stage. There are no regulations regarding the operation of unmanned aircraft in Korea's domestic aviation law except some clauses regarding definition and permission of the unmanned aircraft flight. However, the unmanned aircrafts are currently being used in military and under development for commercial use. In addition, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport has a ambitious plan to develop commercial and civil UAS as Korea's most competitive area in aircraft production and export. Thus, Korea is in need of the legislation for the UAS operation domestically. In this regards, I personally think that Korea's domestic legislation for UAS operation will be enacted focusing on following 12 areas : (1)use of airspace, (2)licenses of personnel, (3)certification of airworthiness, (4)definition, (5)classification, (6)equipments and documents, (7)communication, (8)rules of air, (9)training, (10)security, (11)insurance, (12)others. Im parallel with enacting domestic legislation, korea should contribute to the development of international standards for UAS operation by actively participating ICAO's UASSG.

  • The purpose of this study was to survey a development of the wireless transmission system of medical images for ubiquitous medicine. There have been many changes in medical equipments and medical record medical treatment and medical record within hospital and PACS(Picture Archiving Communication System) which is picture management system for patients can be typical cases. It is difficult to use these automated medical systems unless they are within hospital and in case of rapid image reading in the emergency cases or in absence of doctor, it is difficult to perform it immediately. The present study implemented an image transmission system using CDMA connection so that images in the server can be viewed at any time and in any place. Remote wireless diagnosis based on medical images using PDA is applicable to medical areas that require mobility, and the use of PDA can be an ideal alternative for point of care. The use of PDA enables prompt and accurate access to digital medical images, which in turn reduces medical accidents and improves the quality of medical services through high productivity and efficiency of medical practitioners' works. It also enables quick response to patients' demands and high-quality medical services and, consequently, patients' high satisfaction.
