  • 요즘 모든 분야에서 실세계의 상황정보 인지를 통해 전자공간과 물리공간을 결합할 수 있는 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅의 기반 기술을 사용하여 센서와 무선 통신 기술을 결합한 무선 센서 네트워크에 대한 연구가 활발히 이루어지고 있는 추세이다. 또한 선박에서도 유무선 기술을 융합하여 지능형 선박에 적합한 Ship Area Network(SAN) 연구가 진행되고 있으나, 다양한 유무선 네트워크 연동 SAN-브릿지 기술, 이종 센서, 제어기기를 자율적으로 구성관리하거나 상호연동, 원격제어 하는 자율 SAN 구성관리 기술 등의 필요성이 제기되고 있는 실정이다. 선박에서의 모니터링 분야인 구조적 안전과 화물 관리를 위한 모니터링 외에도 선원을 포함한 모든 주변 환경을 안전하게 유지하는 것이다. 이에 본 논문에서는 기후 변화에 대한 감지나 여러 구조물에 대한 온도, 압력 등의 모니터링 시스템을 효율적으로 설계하기 위해 무선 센서 네트워크에서의 에너지 효율을 이용한 라우팅 및 데이터 병합을 위한 기술 동향을 파악하고 자기 구성 클러스터링 방법을 분석하여 선내의 무선 센서 네트워크 구성에 대해 연구하였다.

Development of Remote Monitoring and Control Systems in Bottle Cultivation Environments of Oyster Mushrooms (느타리 병버섯 재배사 원격환경 모니터링 및 제어시스템 개발)

  • This study was carried out to develop the technology to manage the growth of mushrooms, which were cultivated based on long-term information obtained from quantified data. In this study, hardware that monitored and controlled the growth environment of the mushroom cultivation house was developed. An algorithm was also developed to grow mushrooms automatically. Environmental management for the growth of mushrooms was carried out using cultivation sites, computers, and smart phones. To manage the environment of the mushroom cultivation house, the environmental management data from farmers cultivating the highest quality mushrooms in Korea were collected and a growth management database was created. On the basis of the database value, the management environment for the test cultivar (hukthali) was controlled at $0.5^{\circ}C$ with 3-7% relative humidity and 10% carbon dioxide concentration. As a result, it was possible to produce mushrooms that were almost similar to those cultivated in farms with the best available technology.

  • This paper describes the design and development of a smart digital load cell used forweighing installations. Sice the load cell sensor to be used is very sensitive for weight cariation, the load cell must have the temperature stability, low-drift and the high-resolution of the A/D conversion for accuracy. A new analog circuit which is controlled by one chip micro-processer has been developed to reduce the offset voltage and the drift characteristics of operational amplifiers, and has been adapted into the digital load cell. Also, a software algorithm has been developed to obtain the stable and accurate A/D conversion. This software includes a RS-485 communication program to control the digital load cell, which gives a capability of backing-up the calibration data and transferring control data. The simulation and evaluation of the designed digital load cell has been shown as having the good performance. which will give useful application to the weighing installations as a remote weighing sensor.

  • The IP cameras have rapidly replaced the analog CCTVs as the cameras have the advantages of not only being able to remotely monitor, but also supplying power through the UTP cable, In this paper, we introduce the protocol architecture of the ONVIF standard which is widely applied to the IP camera and other Internet protocols to support it, and implement the ONVIF Device on a commercial board. Although these functions can be controlled by the Client (PC), several functions such as privacy masks, temperature display of the thermal camera, and ROI (Region of Interest) are implemented through a web viewer on the device. Through the experiment, the functions of ONVIF Profile S and web viewer are verified through SOAP messages exchanged between Device (IP camera) and Client program and streamed images.

  • As the number of fish keepers increases, fishbowl-related convenience products are on the rise. Existing products are not welcomed by consumers because of their lack of functions or high price. In this paper, we deal with a system that remotely controls sensors and motors of fish bowl based on Raspberry Pi and Arduino. In Android applications, you can use the following functions. firstly, feeding. Second, water changing. Third, it measures, visualizes temperature and pH values including alert function. Through the several experiments, it was verified that the system can be quickly accessed from the outside, and when it is appropriate to change water. This system allows the user to keep the fish more comfortable and safe.

  • An aging Society solitary life old mans are increasing. The nurses have to visit old mans and must confirm their disease, because they do not act well. It is very difficult to take care old man, because the number of Nurses are small. This problem is solved by collection of data about condition of old mans from long distance. Data communication with Ethernet have benefit to collection of measurement of old man's condition. The Data storage system an long distance place are storaged data and after several day data was transmitted to the DB over the Ethernet. For Miniaturization of such system the system must be OS-less Embedded Ethernet Server system. Such system manages the file management system only with H/W. The Storage device is used SD-card. SD Card is small size and operates with small power. By using 512MB sd memory card, it is possible to storage during 5~6 years, 10 byte of temperature value per second. In this paper, we make a Embedded Ethernet Server using W3100A, Atmega128 MCU and data stroage device using SD-Card. This system operates with O/S-less Embedded Ethernet Server. We talk about file System, Storage and Ethernet. We explained about MCU Atmega128, Interface between LAN LSIand W3100A, Interface between W3100A and Phyceiver RTL8201, data I/O between MCU and SD-Card and File System. We shows the experiment device and result of monitoring.

Studies on the Millimeter-wave Passive Imaging Sensor (밀리미터파 수동 이미징 센서 연구)

  • In this paper, we have designed a millimeter-wave passive imaging sensor that is able to use remote sensing and security applications. The brightness temperature distribution of a scene is measured with a antenna at an angular resolution of $3^{\circ}$. The sensor is controlled by a PC, achieving a fast performance by using a pan/tilter. The pan/tilter should be able to scan a 2-D image of the scene, with a linear raster scan pattern. The mechanical scans in azimuth and elevation whereby an image of $20{\times}20$ pixels is acquired within less than 400s. Raw images are immediately displayed and stored for postprocessing.

  • This paper describes a remote monitoring system of temperature controller for cold-storage, of farm produce. In the cold-storage, it is important that farm produces are fresh. Unfortunately, when an operator goes out from the cold-storage temperature change could be occurred due to the various reasons, for an example, a valve of cooler is broken. The temperature change results in a serious problem of the quality of farm produce. To prevent the problem, the operator has to look to the current state of the temperature of the cold-storage, even he is in long away. Thus, the monitoring system to show the temperature should be required to the operator who can move away. Therefore, this paper propose of the remote monitoring system of the temperature. The proposed system is expected to help the operator's facilities, and the management of farm produce.

  • Real time water quality monitoring system in a large area has been developed. The system is hierarchically composed of CCMS(Central Control and Monitoring System), data loggers and water pollution measuring instruments, which enable systematic and efficient data collection and management. Also in this work we designed and constructed the instruments for measuring basic elements in water quality such as salinity, electrical conductivity, temperature, dissolved oxygen and the amount of coli in water.

  • 본 논문은 일반 가정집, 아파트 및 사무실과 같은 좁은 생활공간에서 재배되는 다양한 식물 특성정보와 주변 환경 정보를 이용하여 재배 식물의 생장환경을 최적으로 지원할 수 있는 아두이노 플랫폼 기반의 식물 재배 지원 시스템을 제안한다. 제안하는 시스템은 스마트폰을 통해 사용자에게 식물 주변 환경 정보의 모니터링 및 간단한 습도 및 온도 원격제어 기능을 실시간 제공한다. 제안하는 시스템을 통해 사용자는 저렴한 비용으로 소중한 재배 식물의 안전한 생장을 유지할 수 있으며, 향후 다양한 환경 센서 및 상황 정보를 활용한 지능형 식물 관리 시스템 연구에 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다.
