  • 한국전력공사(이하 한전)에서는 배전계통의 최적운영을 위하여 계통운영에 필요한 기술을 발굴하여 축적하는데 많은 노력을 기울여 왔으며, 계통운영의 핵심 툴인 배전자동화 시스템을 통하여 관련기술을 축적해오고 있다. 우리나라처럼 배전자동화 시스템을 전력회사에서 자체적으로 개발하여 활용하는 사례는 전 세계적으로 유일하며, 이를 기반으로 해외 전력시장에 배전자동화 시스템을 수출하기 위하여 활발한 활동을 지속적으로 추진되고 있다. 배전자동화 시스템을 이용하면 원격으로 현장에 있는 배전자동화기기를 감시, 제어, 조작, 정정이 가능한 기본기능이 구현가능하고, 각종 계통운영에 필요한 기술계산, 즉 전압강하계산, 보호협조검토, 표준조작지시서(SOP)의 생성, 상시개방점 위치조정으로 손실최소화, 분산전원 연계계통 기술검토의 자동처리가 가능해진다. 기술계산프로그램은 최초 개발 당시인 2002년에는 배전자동화시스템 주장치가 설치된 장소인 온라인 상태에서만 사용이 가능하여 사용상 제약을 가지고 있었으나, 이를 개선하고자 2006년 10월 배전자동화기반 오프라인형 기술계산프로그램을 개발하였고 이를 지속적으로 업그레이드를 추진하여 활용해오고 있다. 배전자동화기반 오프라인형 기술계산프로그램은 배전자동화주장치에서 데이터를 추출하여 배전자동화주장치가 아닌 일반PC나 노트북에서도 배전자동화시스템에 내장된 배전계통 정보 즉, 선로길이 및 전력선 제원 등을 직접 이용하므로 각종 기술계산을 신속하고 정확하게 수행하는 것이 가능하게 되었다. 따라서 이를 지속적으로 활용하고 성능개선을 추진하여 배전계통 운영시 신뢰도 제고에 크게 기여할 것으로 기대되고 있다.

  • The Internet of Things era is approaching where all the things are equipped with smart sensors and communicate through internet. The three core technologies of the Internet of Things are 'detection technology' to get information from things and the environment, 'wired and wireless communications and network infrastructure skills' that support to connect things to the internet, and 'service interface technology' that processes the information appropriate to various services. Smart sensor application can expand to smartphone, smart cars, smart home systems, wearable electronic devices, telemedicine systems, and environmental monitoring systems, etc. In particular, technologies that mimic the five human senses. This study reviews the biological principles of the human senses and the principles of operation, research & development status, technology trends and market analysis of the sensors.

  • Home networking has been noticed as a key technology for the home automation because it is possible to remotely monitor and control the in-house appliances and devices through the network. Wireless home networking method is easily applied to the conventional houses compared to the wired home networking method because of low cost and small effort due to no extra wired works. Especially, home networking using the ZigBee protocol is one of the most attractive technologies in the wireless networking area because of its low cost and low power consumption characteristics. However, there are a lot of practical problems to be solved in implementing the ZigBee module and constructing the wireless network. In this paper, one of the practical structures of the hardware and software modules for implementing the ZigBee protocol is proposed. Moreover, problems in constructing the home networking with the proposed ZigBee module are introduced, and the effective solutions to solve these problems are described through various tests.

Therefore, introducing the technology of AIS in the ground station, lighthouse, bouy, sea facilities etc.. that is support equipment for safety sailing of ship and safety security of harbor and ship administration. The operation and maintenance of AIS for aids to navigation are required to efficient method. With this actuality, sea advanced nation of EU, USA, Japan that has been apply for developing AtoN AIS equipment that is connected equipment of technology standard in IALA. Because of it is expected to depend equipment in income, that is required to domestic technology of the AtoN AIS. This paper is targeted to development that is suitable automation AtoN AIS equipment in environmental peculiarity for constructor AtoN operating administration center. It has been realization send protocol for information interchange.

  • A navigation aid buoy is a kind of safety facility for maritime navigation with a purpose of leading the vessels for navigating, docking and sail off. An advanced rechargeable battery is required for stable power supply for navigation aid buoy as the high magnitude LED lamps, real time location/control for navigation aids and e-Navigation support systems with maritime climate observation equipments have recently been deployed. This study is focused on the lithium battery, especially lithium polymer battery which is believed to be safer than the other types of batteries. The lithium polymer battery reviewed in this study is designed with $LiFePO_4$-based cathode, which has superior safety features to the oxide-based cathodes. Besides, a 3.6kWh battery pack has been built with the above-mentioned unit cells for the purpose of comparative research with lead acid battery system.

  • In October 2011, a commercialized 100kW class floating photovoltaic system positive plant was installed at Hapcheon dam a multi-purpose reservoir the first time ever in the nation. Floating photovoltaic system differs in water float, mooring device and underwater cable process from land photovoltaic system. As for land and building photovoltaic power generation equipments, many installation cases and skilled experiences are available, and thus installation is not difficult. However, commercial power generation floating photovoltaic system, which is attempted for the first time in the nation, requires to be designed and installed through a series of processes like technical review and verification of data by process in comparison with similar cases. The structure of floating photovoltaic system, an equipment for float photovoltaic module and other electrical equipment, is required to withstand weather environments like wind or typhoon etc and yet not affect water quality negatively, and for implementation of this system, construction efficiency and economy etc should be considered comprehensively. In this paper, the techniques of installing floating photovoltaic structure, mooring device, underwater cable, electrical equipment and remote monitoring control system are explained. The 100kW floating PV system is operating with 15% average capacity factor.

  • 제 4차 산업혁명의 시대를 맞아 ICT 융합 차세대 물관리 시스템 관련 기술이 핵심적인 역할을 수행하게 될 것으로 예상되며, 이와 함께 다국적 기업의 시장 진출로 인한 경쟁심화가 예상되고 있다. 한편, 인구증가, 도시성장, 산업발전 및 기후변화에 따른 물부족, 물 수요와 물 공급의 불균형, 수질오염 등은 점점 더 심각해질 것으로 예상되고 있다. 또한, 수자원 산업에서 대상시설의 안전하고 경제적인 운영 및 유지관리를 목적으로 하는 운전, 감시, 진단, 보수, 개선 및 이를 위한 의사결정지원 기술인 운영관리(O&M, Operation and Maintenance) 기술의 중요성이 지속적으로 증가하는 추세이다. 스마트워터그리드(SWG)는 ICT 융복합 첨단 수자원 관리기술로 기후변화에 의한 물 부족과 수자원 인프라 노후화로 인한 효율저하 등 물 문제 해결을 위한 차세대 플랫폼으로 주목받고 있으나, 아직까지 스마트워터그리드 시스템 구축을 위한 장치, 부품, 공정, 설계, 시공 기술 등 주로 요소기술 확보를 목적으로 연구되었으며, 시설의 운영 및 유지관리 연구는 거의 진행되지 않아 효율적인 현장적용이 어려운 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 스마트워터그리드 데모플랜트 시설을 대상으로 운영 유지관리 기술의 고도화 기본방향, 세부 핵심기술, 추진방법 등을 제시하고자 한다. 특히 스마트워터그리드의 핵심기술인 AMI 기반 수운영 시스템을 대상으로 IoT 기반의 고효율 저비용 물 공급 체계 고도화 및 지능형 통합 운영 플랫폼 구축, Hybrid형 다중수원 활용 이동식 물 생산 시스템에 대한 운전제어 자가진단 운영관리 유지보수기술 등 원격 무인 자동화 물 생산시설 기술 고도화 개발방안에 대하여 중점적으로 다루고자 한다.

  • SCADA system is a computer system that monitors and controls the national infrastructure or industrial process including transportation facilities, water treatment and distribution, electrical power transmission and distribution, and gas pipelines. The SCADA system has been operated in a closed network, but it changes to open network as information and communication technology is developed rapidly. As the way of connecting with outside user extends, the possibility of exploitation of vulnerability of SCADA system gets high. The methodology to protect the possible huge damage caused by malicious user should be developed. In this paper, we proposed anomaly detection based intrusion detection methodology by estimating self-similarity of SCADA system.

  • Information collected from temperature, humidity, inclination, and pressure sensors using Raspberry Pi or Arduino is used in automatic constant temperature and constant humidity systems. In addition, by using it in the agricultural and livestock industry to remotely control the system with only a smartphone, workers in the agricultural and livestock industry can use it conveniently. In general, temperature and humidity are expressed in a line graph, etc., and the change is monitored in real time. The technology to visually express the temperature has recently been used intuitively by using an infrared device to test the fever of Corona 19. In this paper, the information collected from the Raspberry Pi and the DHT11 sensor is used to predict the temperature change in space through intuitive visualization and to make a immediate response. To this end, an algorithm was created to effectively visualize temperature and humidity, and data representation is possible even if some sensors are defective.
