  • 최근 울산항에는 화물차가 정해진 화물차 주차장이 아닌 항만 내외에 불법주차를 하는 사례가 빈번하게 발생하고 있다. 본 논문은 이러한 문제를 해결하고자 화물차 주차장 이용을 활성화하는 방안을 연구하였다. 이에 따라 화물차 주차장의 주차 현황을 실시간으로 제공하는 딥 러닝(YOLOv4) 기반 영상분석방식의 스마트 항만 주차정보시스템을 제안한다. 더불어, 제시한 방안을 통해 주차장 이용이 활성화 되었을 때의 사회적 가치를 산정하여 기존과 비교하였다.

  • '체선'은 입항한 선박이 하역하지 못하고 대기하는 상황을 나타내는 말이며 이는 항만의 비효율성을 초래하고 금전적인 손실을 가져다준다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 기존 관제정보 API를 활용하여 체선율 분석 및 예측 시스템을 제안하고자 한다. 이를 통해 항만 시설 관리자에게는 투자방향성을 제공하고, 선박과 화주에게는 물류효율성을 제공해 줄 것으로 기대된다.

Marine Bio-environmental Characteristics with the Distributions of Dinoflagellate Cyst Assemblages in the Ulsan Coastal Waters (UCW) (와편모조 시스트 분포에 의한 울산연안 해역의 생물해양환경 특성)

  • This study described the spatial distribution of dinoflagellate cyst assemblages in the Ulsan Coastal Waters (UCW). Surface sediment samples from 15 stations revealed the occurrence of 33 species involving the Groups Protoperidinioid (51.5%), Gonyaulacoid (30.4%), Calciodineloid (9.1%), Gymnodinioid (3.0%), Diplopsallid (3.0%) and Tuberculodinioid (3.0%). The recorded cyst abundance in the UCW recorded was low ($260{\sim}1,680cysts\;g-dry^{-1}$) compared to Korean coastal waters. The abundance of heterotrophic cysts is higher in the Ulsan harbour and northwestern parts of UCW with eutrophic areas, however autotrophic species are more prevalent in the southern parts with open sea environments. The dinoflagellate cyst assemblages in the UCW were characterized by the dominance of Gonyaulax scrippsae, Protoperidinium sp. (Brigantedinium sp.), and Gonyaulax spinifera complex. The advent of the toxic dinoflagellate, Pyrodinium bahamense var. bahamense was recorded for the first time in the East-south sea of Korea. Therefore, as a result of ongoing monitoring and management for new toxic dinoflegallates from tropical or subtropical regions, analysis of dinoflagellate cyst assemblages in the UCW has been deemed necessary.

  • LNG is being spotlighted as a clean marine fuel because of recent trend in reinforcement of marine environmental regulation. In this paper, demand prospect of LNG bunkering for Ulsan port is carried out to analgize the possibility of commercialization of floating LNG bunkering terminal. Environmental analysis for LNG bunkering and LNG bunkering trends of competitive ports in the world are considered to draw out the prospection of LNG bunkering demand in Ulsan. As a result, car carrie and oil carrier were expected to have more possibility in switching to LNG fuelled ship. The LNG bunkering demand in Ulsan. The LNG bunkering demand in Ulsan port was expected to be about from 650,000 ton to 900,000 ton in 2030 and Ulsan port is prospected to be a good port for FLBT business in th future.

A Measurement Way of Operation Risk Evaluation of Korean Seaports Using Negative DEA (Negative DEA를 이용한 국내항만의 운영위험평가 측정방법)

  • The purpose of this paper is to show the empirical measurement way of operation risk evaluation in domestic seaports for overcoming the limitations which the traditional DEA method has by using 13 Korean ports in 2003 for 4 inputs(birthing capacity, cargo handling capacity, number of coastal guard vessel, number o f coastal special guard vessel ) and 5 outputs(Export and Import Quantity, Number of Ship Calls, number of coastal accident, number of coastal crime, number of coastal pollution). Because traditional DEA method has produced the limited set of information, negative DEA mixed with tier, stratification and layering methods should be adopted. The goal of negative DEA is to set up DEA models that will place the poor operating ports on or close to the empirical frontier. The core empirical results of this paper are as follows. First, Donghae ports should benchmark the operation way of Yeasu, Busan, Woolsan ports in terms of the middle and longterm base. Second, 5 ports(ports of Taean, Yeasu, Tongyoung, Busan, Sokcho) which were revealed as the poor operating ports in Negative DEA analysis should benchmark Incheon, Woolsan, Pohan, and Donhae ports. The policy implication to the Korean seaports and planners is that Korean seaports should introduce the new methods like Negative DEA of this paper for predicting the poor operating in the ports.

Comparative Analysis of Ship Departure Status by Major Ports in Korea (한국 내 주요 항만별 선박출항현황 비교 분석)

  • The purpose of this paper is to compare and analyze the status of ship departures by major ports in Korea. To this end, we collected necessary data from the National Statistical Office (National Statistical Portal), "Transportation·Logistics ⇨ Ship Departure Status by Port". The analysis period is 141 months from January 2009 to September 2020. The increase rate was higher in the order of Yeosu, Pyeongtaek Dangjin, Gwangyang, Busan, Incheon and Ulsan. In the analysis of the rate of change, Yeosu showed an uptrend while other ports showed a modest downtrend. In the scatter analysis, the total ship departure shows a high degree of synchronization with other ports except Yeosu. As a result of the empirical analysis, the recent trend of ship departures is slowly falling below 0%, and the current movement is expected to continue for the time being. As the southern logistics of China and ASEAN and northern logistics of Eurasia become active, the role of major ports is expected to expand further. It is necessary to develop a differentiated logistics service for each port and find an efficient way to increase the volume of goods by deriving factors for improving logistics.
