A Development of Optimum Operation Models for Express-Rail Systems (급행열차 도입을 통한 최적운행방안 수립에 관한 연구 - 수도권 광역 도시철도를 중심으로 -)

  • Recently, the city railway in the Seoul Metropolitan Area (SMA) has offered a low quality of service as a passage time, because it was operated slowly. So, the people who live in modern society are not satisfied about passage time, therefore, this study tried to make that the subway in the SMA becomes a more functional and effective wide-area-transportation-network through an express train introduction's method which examined cases from abroad and current system. and then presented how express train could be applied to current system. In a case study, We used the An-San Line and Su-In Line as a examples and developed a schedule which can minimize the delaying time of subway by using Branch & Bound Algorithm. The train operational plan was loaded to consider a railroad siding, Obtained site, and the dispatch interval(three to ten minutes) for the express and local lines and finally, We presented an alternative operational plan which made by those factors.

Analysis of Turbulence on a Merge Influence Section in Uninterrupted Facility (연속류도로 합류영향구간 교통류 난류현상 분석)

  • Sections under the influence of merging in an uninterrupted facility create irregular interaction between vehicles, such as lane change, speed acceleration and deceleration because of the merging of ramp traffic flows which have traffic characteristics different from those of the main line. This causes a confused traffic flow phenomenon(turbulence), which is considered an unstable traffic characteristic between various continuous points in consideration of v conditions. In this study, in merge influence sections, detectors by lane-point were installed to create time and space-series -traffic data. The least significant difference(LSD), as the criteria for discriminating a significant speed change between points, was calculated to examine the turbulence. As a result, turbulence in merge influence section was found to change the zones of such occurrence and the seriousness levels according to traffic condition. Thus, the maximum merge influence section due to the turbulence was created in the traffic condition before congestion when traffic increases. According to characteristics of changes in speed, merge influence section was divided into upstream 100m$\sim$downstream 100m(a section of speed reduction), and downstream 100m$\sim$downstream 400m(a section of reduced speed maintenance and acceleration).

  • Evaluation of fuel consumption for the various road condition and vehicle type is necessary to perform the economic analysis of road construction which is important for the efficient design and management of road. Economic analysis of road should consider the social cost which can be divided into agency cost including initial construction expense, maintenance cost, and so on, and user cost consisting of vehicle operating cost, congestion cost, etc. Since vehicle operating cost depends on the traffic volume, fuel consumption that is a major part of vehicle operating cost will change by traffic volume as well. Fuel consumption is significantly affected by vehicle speed and road condition, especially the roughness. Thus, fuel consumption should be evaluated in terms of road condition, which is not currently considered. In this study, the estimation model of fuel consumption for the passenger cars in Korea has been developed by considering the road condition. First, the relationship between vehicle speed and fuel consumption that is used to calculate the vehicle operating cost for investment evaluation of transportation facility and the initial feasibility study of road construction was investigated. Second, with the consideration of road roughness, fuel consumption of the passenger car was measured. From the measurement, it was found that fuel consumption increased by $80m{\ell}$ per 100km driving as the roughness increased by 1m/km. Therefore, it is recommended that for the economic analysis of road design and management, the fuel consumption should be a function of road roughness.

  • The high distribution costs causes the increasing of truck delivery time and cost, which results in reducing industrial competitiveness incre. Therefore, This study conducted research into the introduction of truck only lane for reducting distribution costs. The site of study is Keumho JCT ~ Namgumi IC of Kyeongbu Expressway which has much truck traffic because of industrial complex. Thus, this study deduced travel speed and density in each scenaria(base, bus only lane, truck only lane, two only lane). According to analysis result, if a truck only lane install, the average driving speed is 83.4km/h as a highest and density 22.47veh/km as lowest. it means that if the truck only lane is install, it will be positive influence on the expressway

  • 본 논문에서는 24~77GHz 대역의 충돌 방지 레이더 센서를 이용한 차량 충돌 방지 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안한 알고리즘은 센서로 부터 측정한 전압을 이용하여 전/후/좌/우의 차량의 접근 정보를 획득하고 이를 효율적으로 이용하여 다양한 상황에 따른 차량충돌방지를 할 수 있도록 구현되어 있다. 제안한 차량 충돌방지 알고리즘은 운행 중인 속도를 기반으로 속도구간별 운행정보를 계산하여 충돌방지를 실행한다. 본 연구에서 구현한 차량 충돌 방지 알고리즘은 차량 주행에서 좌우 차량충돌 없이 효율적으로 운행하는 특성을 보였다.

  • Railway curved zone have crucial effects on the speed of train. Length of transition curve is one of the important factor for alignment compatibility estimation in this sections, this value is decided by running speed and Cant. In this study, the extension method of transition curve is evaluated, based on the alignment of Jang Hang-Line, investigated field conditions of the sections in the curves exist. This research result show that changing of transition curve was proved by necessary to approximately two thirds of the curved sections, and method of fixing central point of track centerline and changing radius of curvature minimize the maximum shift in track centerline and deviation of radius, and also may be effective method for alignment suitability and speed up in case overall improvement is difficult.

  • 차량종적제어시스템을 이용한 운행장치에서 측정센서에 의하여 감지되는 정보량에 따른 응답특 성은 다음과 같다. 1) 종적제어시스템(longitudinal control system)을 이용하여 소대를 형성하는 과정에서 순차형 태로 정보를 전달할 때는 거리만을 이용하는 경우보다 거리 및 접근속도를 모두 사용하는 것이 훨씬 안정된 소대의 형성을 나타내었다. 2) 제어장치에서 제어상수의 선정에 따라 구분되는 세 가지의 영역이 정의되었다. 쾌적한 운행의 판단은 빠른 주기로 변화하는 응답특성이 나타나는지의 여부로 결정할 수가 있다. 즉 빠른 주 기로 감가속을 변화시켜야 할 경우에는 안락한 승차감을 기대할 수 없다.

  • 최근 SA(Selective Availability)의 해제에 따른 GPS의 활용이 증대되면서 차량운행에 있어서도 저가 GPS 수신기의 활용이 활발하게 이루어지고 있으며, 일반 차량 운행자를 위한 상용화가 급속도로 이루어지고 있다. 하지만 저가 GPS수신기를 통한 실시간 위치정보의 제공은 실질적으로 상당한 오차를 포함하고 있다. 이는 저가 수신기가 가지고 있는 문제라 할 수 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 저가 수신기와 정밀 측위용 이주파 수신기를 이용하여 측지분야에서 검증된 GPS측량방법을 통해 오차를 비교ㆍ분석하고 저가 수신기의 정확도 향상을 위한 방법을 제시하고자 하였다.
