Mixed Operation with Express Train for Urban Railways in Seoul Metropolitan Area (대피선 설치를 통한 수도권 광역철도 급행화 방안)

  • The urban railways connecting between the inner city and suburb of Seoul metropolitan area, has lost the competitiveness against cars because too many stops deteriorated operating speed and passenger's level of service. This paper suggests that an express train should be introduced into the urban railway system in order to sort out such a complication. There are two considerations in the present study. Firstly, train schedule problem should be taken into account. In this regard, a new model for urban railway system was developed by revising the existing models dealing with single line freight railway. Approximate branch and bound algorithm based on conflict group rather than a single conflict was adopted. Consequently, it was found that the time saving in calculating the optimal schedule is the most meaningful contribution of the algorithm. The second consideration is associated with the application of the model. A case study was carried out using the actual operation data from Ansan line. In conclusion, the operation speed of the line can increase considerably with minimal number of new sidings.

  • 제주 스마트그리드 실증사업은 기기 설치, 시험운전 단계에서 실증운전 단계로 넘어가는 과정 중에 있다. 제주 가상전력시장기반 하에서 수요측 자원의 본격적인 Full-Scale 전력거래가 시작될 예정이며, 거래 수익 최대화를 위해서는 에너지저장장치의 적절한 운영이 필수적으로 요구된다. 당사에서는 에너지저장장치의 시간대별 운영 패턴 도출을 통해 가상전력시장에 참여할 수 있는 에너지저장장치 운영 프로그램을 개발하였다. 본 논문에서는 가상전력시장의 개요, 에너지저장장치 운영 프로그램의 개념과 실행 스케쥴, 그리고 입출력 데이터와 Flow Chart 등에 대하여 기술하였다. 향후 실증단계 진행 중에 신뢰할 만한 Raw Data와 거래 reference를 확보, 분석하고 적용하는 과정을 거치면서 운영 알고리즘을 조금 더 개선해야 할 필요가 있다.

Development of Simulation Model Based Optimal Start and Stop Control Daily Strategy (시뮬레이션 모델기반 냉난방 설비 일별 최적 기동/정지 제어기법 개발)

  • This work aims to develop a platform to investigate the effect of operation schedules on the building energy consumption and to derive a simulation model based optimal start and stop daily strategy. An open-source building energy simulation tool DOE2 is used for the engine, and the developed simulation model is validated using ASHRAE guideline 14. The effect of late-start/early-stop operation of HVAC system on the daily building energy consumption was analyzed using the developed simulation model. It was found that about 10% of energy consumption cut was possible using the control strategy for an hour of advance of the stop operation, and about 3% per an hour of delay of the start operation.

  • 에너지 절약과 에너지 재생산 측면에 있어서 일상생활에서 낭비되고 있는 에너지를 다시 회수하여 재사용 할 수 있는 시스템은 경제적인 측면에서 그 가치가 높다고 할 수 있다. 이러한 관점에서 일반 주유소나 도장시설 등과 같은 환경에서 무심히 대기로 배출되는 휘발성 유증기를 포집하여 다시 에너지로 재사용하게 되면 경제적인 효과가 높다고 할 수 있다. 본 논문은 기존의 PLC 기반으로 동작하고 있는 휘발성유기화합물에 대한 액화장치(Liquefaction equipment)를 정보통신기술(Information & Communication Technology)을 접목시켜 액화장치를 효율적으로 관리하고, 내부 액화온도를 적절하게 제어하여 액화기의 효율을 향상시키고자 한다. 또한 액화기의 운전상태에 대한 정보를 ZigBee 기반의 무선 통신기술을 도입하여 원격지 관리서버로 액화기 상태정보를 전송하여 액화기에 대한 합리적인 운전 스케쥴 관리와 에너지 생산성을 높이고자 하며, 스마트기기로 모니터링 할 수 있도록 액화장치의 정보를 제공하고자 한다.

  • Operating characteristics of DGT-5 being developed by Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction Co., Ltd. for power generation service was evaluated. Starting behavior was improved by a series of tests to investigate the effect of various fuel schedule and several combination of bleed valve control. The engine showed stable operation without any instability of compressor in the full operating regime covering from start-up to load conditions. If there is a rapid change of load in the condition of synchronization to Grid, the engine can be controlled stably based on the analysis of dynamic responses of the engine to an rapid load change and a sudden load rejection.
