A Decentralized Face Mask Distribution System Based on the Decentralized Identity Management (블록체인 분산신원증명에 기반한 탈중앙화된 마스크 중복구매 확인 시스템)

  • Identity authentication is an important technology that has long been used in society to identify individuals and provide appropriate services. With the development of the Internet infrastructure, many areas have expanded into online areas, and identity authentication technologies have also expanded online. However, there is still a limit to identity authentication technology that relies entirely on trusted third parties like the government. A centralized identity management system makes the identification process between agencies with different identity management systems very complex, resulting in a waste of money and time for users. In particular, the limits of the centralized identity management system were clearly revealed in the face mask shortage in the 2020 COVID-19 crisis. A Decentralized Identity (DID) is a way for users to manage their identity on their own, and recently, a number of DID platform based on blockchain technology have been proposed. In this paper, we analyze the limitations of the existing centralized identity management system and propose a DID system that can be utilized in future national emergency situations such as COVID-19.

A Study on the Role and Improvement Direction of Empty Homes Policy in Korea (빈집제도의 역할과 개선 방향에 관한 연구)

  • The aim of this study is to improve the "empty house problem" in Korea. The direction of improvement of systems in Korea was considered and compared with empty house systems in the United Kingdom, France, Germany, the United States, and Japan. Korea's system is based on comprehensive regulations centered on the demolition of empty houses. To actively solve the problem of unoccupied houses, detailed guidelines are needed, which must consider the current status and surrounding environment of empty houses. There should be institutional grounds for local governments to actively intervene in the issue of empty houses, and there should be a system that enables tax and cost support for the reuse of such houses. An information sharing system is also needed for sharing empty house information among local governments. To utilize empty houses as resources for the housing market, it is necessary to establish a consultative system consisting of residents, urban and architectural experts, and private businesses.

  • The dronebot combat system is a representative model of the future battlefield in the 4th industrial revolution. In dronebot, unmanned reconnaissance tankrobot can minimize human damage and reduce cost with higher combat power than humans. However, since the battlefield environment is very complex such as obstacles and enemy situations, it is also necessary for the pilot to control the tankrobot. Tankrobot are robots with new ICT technology, capable of hacking attacks, and if there is an abnormality in control, it can pose a threat to manipulation and control. A Bluetooth sniffing attack was performed on the communication section of the tankrobot and the controller to introduce a vulnerability to Bluetooth, and a countermeasure using MAC address exposure prevention and communication section encryption was proposed as a security measure. This paper first presented the vulnerability of tankrobot to be operated in future military operations, and will be the basic data that can be used for defense dronebot units.

The Development of Air-based Space Launch Vehicle for small satellites (초소형위성 발사를 위한 공중기반 우주발사체 발전방안)

  • The end of the ROK-U.S. missile guidelines opened up the possibility of developing space launch vehicles for various platforms based on air and sea. In particular, the air-based space launch vehicle is an essential space power projection capability compared to the ground-based space launch vehicle in consideration of the geographical location of the Korean Peninsula, such as the deployment of various satellite orbits and the timely launch of satellite. In addition, compared to the ground-based launch vehicle, the cost reduction effect is large, and it has the merit of energy gain because it can be launched with the advantage of the aircraft's altitude and speed. Therefore, in this paper, the necessity of air-based space launch vehicle in the strategic environment of the Korean Peninsula is clearly presented, and through technology trend analysis of various air launch vehicle, the three methods are proposed to have the most efficient air-based space launch vehicle capability in the Korean situation.

  • Recently, in the industrial field, various studies are being conducted on converging IIoT devices that combine low-power processes and network cards into industrial sites to improve production efficiency and reduce costs. In this paper, we propose a processing model that can efficiently manage products produced by attaching IIoT sensor information to infrastructure built in industrial sites. The proposed model creates production data using IIoT data collection, preprocessing, characteristic generation, and labels to detect abnormally processed sensing information in real time by checking sensing information of products produced by IIoT at regular intervals. In particular, the proposed model can easily process IIoT data by performing tracking and monitoring so that product information produced in industrial sites can be processed in real time. In addition, since the proposed model is operated based on the existing production environment, the connection with the existing system is smooth.

A Fault Management Design of Dual-Redundant Flight Control Computer for Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (무인기용 이중화 비행조종컴퓨터의 고장관리 설계)

  • Since the flight control computer of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) is a flight critical equipment, it is necessary to ensure reliability and safety from the development step, and a redundancy-based fault management design is required in order to operate normally even a failure occurs. To reduce cost, weight and power consumption, the dual-redundant flight control system design is considered in UAV. However, there are various restrictions on the fault management design. In this paper, we propose the fault detection and isolation designs for the dual-redundant flight control computer to satisfy the safety requirements of an UAV. In addition, the flight control computer developed by applying the fault management design performed functional tests in the integrated test environment, and after performing FMET in the HILS, its reliability was verified through flight tests.

  • As it takes a lot of time and money to develop an aircraft, an environment for renovating and using existing operating aircraft has been created. As a result, many old aircraft were renovated, and due to the aging of the aircraft, more demanding cable requirements were required for renovation projects, and as the number of equipment inside the aircraft gradually increased, the difficulty of system integration increased. In order to solve the difficulties of system integration through systematization of verification procedures, this paper explains VSWR, I-loss, which are the main indicators of antenna cable modification, and explains DTF, one of the problem detection methods. It also explains the elements required for cable design, the environment to be measured, and procedures, and introduces the overall process and effect of antenna cable improvement through demonstration cases.

  • This paper illustrates the trajectory design of drift distance recovery after initial launch and proximity operation when verifying rendezvous/docking technology using nanosatellites. The rendezvous/docking is a technology that is the basis of on-orbit servicing technology and is a preemptive process essential for approaching a target object. In particular, since it is difficult to verify in space, nanosatellites have recently been used to reduce the risk and cost of the development stage. Therefore, this paper not only introduces the configuration and specifications of thrusters for nanosatellites but also designs relative trajectories that can take into account the thrust limitations which come from the small size and low power of nanosatellites. In addition, we intend to be helpful in later designing scenarios according to the improvement of available thruster performance through comparison of trajectories and thrust usage with cases without thrust limitations.

  • As the variety of scientific technology has grown repeatedly since the 19th century, innovative technology is developing high-level in healthcare field. The system to improve patient's satisfaction for silver generation introduced in domestic medical process result from promotion of convergence technology. But utilization of small and medium hospital is inevitable with maintain limited performance around existing large hospitals and high cost service system. Therefore phenomenon that weakness of patient's satisfaction and service accessibility for silver generation occurs. This study propose the design method that Android-based low-cost smart medical treatment information service system to improve accessibility to user of small and medium hospital for effective patient's satisfaction services management and medical services.

  • Virtual Reality(VR) technology is an interface technology that is actively used in various audio-visual-based applications by showing users a virtual world composed of computer graphics. Since VR-based applications are graphic processing-based applications, expensive computing devices equipped with Graphics Processing Unit(GPU) are essential for graphic processing. This incurs a cost burden on VR application users for maintaining and managing computing devices, and as one of the solutions to this, a method of operating services in cloud environments is being used. This paper proposes a performance management technique to address the problem of performance interference between containers owing to GPU resource competition in container-based high-performance cloud environments in which multiple containers share a single GPU. The proposed technique reduces performance deviation due to performance interference, helping provide uniform performance-based remote VR services for users. In addition, this paper verifies the efficiency of the proposed technique through experiments.
