The Efficiency of e-Logistics on the Global Logistics Providers Using the SBM Model (SBM을 이용한 글로벌 물류기업의 정보시스템 성과분석)

  • By strengthening the market control and expanding the networks, providers of global logistics are expanding their service scope. E-logistics connects e-business to internal and external information system by using WMS, TMS, and OMS. The paper focuses on analyzing the efficiency of the tope fifty Global Logistics Providers. Therefore, the study classifies the factors which specify the efficiency of a total logistics industry and verified its firmness. Furthermore, the most recently published reports by Logistics Quarterly and Armstrong Association in 2011 was used in order to guarantee credibility of the study. This study utilizes three years of materials, from 2007, 2008, 2009 on publish 2010, for scope period for analysis. By applying SBM (Slack Based Measure) & the DEA Window model, the trend in efficiency and stableness was analyzed. Consequently, the main purpose of the paper is evaluating the efficiency. Also, analyzing its determinants and illustrating a long-term relationship between the annual turnover and major shippers was used as output measures. In addition, the number of information system operations, the grade of information systems, and employee of Logistics Providers was used as input measures.

  • 홍수기 다목적댐 운영의 목적은 홍수조절용량을 최대한 이용하여 하류 주요 지점의 첨두홍수량을 저감시키거나, 계획홍수량을 초과하지 않도록 방류량과 방류시점을 조절함으로써 홍수 피해규모를 최소화하는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 홍수기 다목적댐 운영에서 다목적 최적화의 한 형태인 goal programming의 적용성을 검토하였다. 실제 강우사상을 이용하여 단일저수지 운영과 저수지 연계운영을 실시하였다. 단일 저수지 운영을 적용하기 위한 시험유역으로는 충주댐 유역을 선정하였고 저수지 연계운영을 적용하기 위한 시험유역으로는 안동댐과 임하댐 유역을 선정하였다. goal programming의 결과 분석을 위해 저수지 모의운영 모형인 HEC-5 모형의 결과와 비교, 분석하였다. goal programming을 이용할 경우 HEC-5 운영결과보다 안정적인 운영결과를 얻을 수 있었다. goal programming을 이용한 최적화 운영의 경우 전구간의 유입량을 알고 있다는 점에서 실제 저수지 운영과는 차이가 있다. 그러나 적절한 제약조건을 적용하고 홍수예경보를 이용하여 예보된 유입량을 활용하면 최적의 방류시점과 방류량을 산정하여 홍수기 다목적댐을 효율적으로 운영할 수 있으며 주요 지점의 홍수량도 저감할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

  • The main subject to become a hub port is automation. The automated container terminal has already operated in advanced ports and it has been planned for the basic planning and operation design in domestic case. The key of automated container terminal is effective operation of both ATC(automated transfer crane) and AGV(automated guided vehicle) which is automated handling equipments. This is essential to poductivity of automated container terminal. This study suggests the most optimal method of equipment operation in order to minimize loading time using each three types of effective ATC operation methods and AGV dispatching rules in automated container terminals. As the automated equipment operation causes unexpected deadlocks or interferences, it should be proceeded on event-based real time. Therefore we propose the most effective ATC operation methods and AGV dispatching rules in this paper. The various states occurred in real automated container terminals are simulated to evaluate these methods. This experiment will show the most robust automated equipment operation method on various parameters(the degree of yard re-marshaling, the number of containers and the number of AGVs)

  • Cyber hackings are increasing and becoming more intelligent. The government and private companies conduct various information protection activities by investing lots of money and employing security personnel to protect import ant assets and personal information. It is important to evaluate the efficiency of the information protection activities that cost lots of money and manpower. However, the studies on the efficiency of the information protection activities were mainly conducted for government agencies the information of which is more readily available. This study suggests a model that can evaluate the efficiency of the activities of information protection and information security certification of various private companies. Our model evaluates the efficiency of the information protection activities by applying AHP and DEA on the information that are publicly announced by the private companies. Our model identifies the DMUs that are efficiently operated and suggests the improvement policies for the DMU that are non-efficiently operated.

Operation Analysis of Downstream Intersections at Urban Freeway Off-ramps (도시고속도로 진출램프 하류부교차로 운영 분석 (중동 IC 사례 분석을 중심으로))

  • Severe congestion is happening at urban freeway off-ramps in Seoul. Major causes of congestion at off-ramps are a shortage of capacity and inefficient signal operations at the downstream intersection at off-ramps. It is necessary to control congestion by improving design or operations in the downstream intersection. In this study, the authors analyzed the case of the Jungdong interchange that was improved for design in the downstream intersection. When a freeway and an arterial road cross, diamond interchanges are usually selected with a single-point urban interchange (SPUI) as an alternative. To compare the effectiveness of a diamond interchange with a SPUI, the authors applied these two configurations to the Jungdong interchange using a simulation. The result of the analysis shows that congestion at off-ramps in diamond interchanges can be reduced by improving signal operations such as the application of "4 phase with overlaps" and that diamond interchanges are more efficient than a SPUI with a frontage road. Efficient operation of the downstream intersection by these findings can minimize congestion of not only the downstream intersection but also the freeway mainline.

  • 본 연구는 한국, 미국, 일본의 ITS 표준추진체계 비교분석(Comparative Analysis)을 통해, 국가 ITS표준 추진체계의 운영효율화방안을 제언하는 것이다. 이를 위해 우리나라의 ITS표준추진체계의 문제점을 파악하고, 국외사례분석을 통해 이를 개선할 수 있는 대응방안을 제언하였다. 미국, 일본사례 비교분석결과, 국가ITS표준화추진체계의 효율적 운영을 위해서는 관.민협력적, 범부처적 국가ITS표준추진체계 모델을 정립하고, 국제표준과 연계하여 국가표준, 부처표준, 단체표준을 추진하되, 해당표준이 표준의 기능과 역할에 부합하도록 개발.제정되어야한다. 사업자와 수요자의 다양한 요구(Need)를 신속히 표준화할 수 있도록 단체표준화육성을 통해 국가 표준화하고, 특히 교통안전과 공공성에 관련된 ITS기술은 정부부터가 강력히 규제할 수 있는 기술기준(Technical Regulation)을 도입하도록 하였다. 아울러 표준제정 뿐만 아니라 데이터등록소(Data Registry) 및 웹기반의 표준화활동 등 표준화구축사업을 통해 표준화의 활동을 활성화하도록 제언하였다.

  • 정보가전기기의 발전에 따라 인터넷과 퍼스널 컴퓨터 중심의 정보화는 이제 어느 장소, 어느 기기에서나 네트워크와 연결되어 사용자에게 서비스를 제공하는 유비쿼터스 시대로 접어들고 있다. 이러한 정보기기들은 기기에 특성화된 실시간 운영체제를 탑재하고 통신하게 되며, 한정된 자원으로 통신 대역폭을 효율적으로 사용하기 위한 기술을 적용해야 할 필요성이 있다. 본 논문에서는 실시간 운영체제에서 정보기기간의 효율적인 다중송수신을 위해서 멀티캐스트 전송 모듈을 설계 및 구현하였다.

  • 세계적인 에너지 전환 흐름을 기반한 깨끗하고 안전한 에너지공급을 위해 석탄, 원전을 감축하고 재생에너지의 확대와 에너지 다소비 구조를 선진국형 에너지 고효율, 저소비로 전환며, 분산형 에너지 시스템을 확대에 따라 다양한 에너지 운영환경이 형성. 이에 맞게 새로운 운영방식의 융복합 모델 개발의 필요성이 증가하고 있다. 융복합 모델의 효율적 운영을 위해서는 발전시스템의 요소별 운전 정보를 수집, 분석하여 제어할 수 있는 능동형 제어가 필요하다. 본 문에서는 태양광발전(PV)을 연계한 ESS(Energy Strorage System)의 효율적인 전력제어를 위한 PMS를 개발하여 성능 검증하고자 한다.

  • The Korean government, as of last year, is attempting to introduce a competitive system in the rail-market. However there are some pertinent issues which need to be addressed in order to select the best possible organization for optimum railway traffic control. As there are no standard guidelines in selecting an agency, objective evaluation factors need to be properly applied to ensure the best possible decision is made. Through literature review and various interviews with experts, appropriate criteria were selected to evaluate the suitability of each potential operator. As generally mentioned, both safety and efficiency play vital roles in the selection process but in addition, there are other factors such as security and fairness, which also need to be considered. The individual weight of these factors were calculated by the AHP, in which three groups of experts were interviewed to acquire their expertise. According to the results, as a potential operator, the score of a railway operating company and the management cooperation of railway is 2.75 and 3.85, respectively. In the future, in preparation towards becoming a competitive rail-market, this research is expected to assist in choosing the best party to control the rail traffic system.
