Automated Stacking Crane Dispatching Strategy in a Container Terminal using Genetic Algorithm (유전 알고리즘을 이용한 자동화 컨테이너 터미널에서의 장치장 크레인의 작업 할당 전략)

  • In an automated container terminal, automated stacking cranes(ASCs) take charge of handling of containers in a block of the stacking yard. This paper proposes a multi-criteria strategy to solve the problem of job dispatching of twin ASCs which are identical to each another in size and specification. To consider terminal situation from different angles, the proposed method evaluates candidate jobs through various factors and it dispatches the best score job to a crane by doing a weighted sum of the evaluated values. In this paper, we derive the criteria for job dispatching strategy, and we propose a genetic algorithm to optimize weights for aggregating evaluated results. Experimental results are shown that it is suitable for real time terminal with lower computational cost and the strategy using various criteria improves the efficiency of the container terminal.

Design of Crank Drive System Based on Gait Pattern for Stand-up Bicycle (보행패턴을 접목한 직립주행 자전거용 크랭크 구동장치의 거동분석)

  • Gait stability is partly characterized by an extended stance phase that comprises 60 of the gait % cycle. In this study, a gait pattern was employed for a crank drive system that allows for stable lower limb kinematics during stand-up cycling. A quick return mechanism was applied to the crank system to allow for a slow rotation of the crank during the stance phase and for a quick return during the swing phase. Design parameters for the quick return crank mechanism were defined, and kinematic simulations were performed to understand the behavior of the mechanism. To evaluate the design, an experimental instrument was fabricated, and the cycling motion was analyzed. The results indicated that this new drive system can stabilize the center of mass of the user. This study can contribute to the development of a stand-up bicycle that allows for more comfortable leg kinematics.

A Study for brake distance according to a car and rail conditions (차량과 레일 조건에 따른 제동거리에 관한 고찰)

  • Rail vehicle brakes partly or completely transform the kinetic energy of moving vehicles into other forms of energy, in order to reduce the speed, and if necessary to bring them to a halt. To fulfil these requirements, the effect of a certain brake force is necessary and especially it is considered that the brake force is a important device to rail vehicles as a mass transit. The brake distance is a criterion for measuring brake force. The brake force is measured via dozens of brake distance test before its service operation. The brake distance is influenced by cars and rail conditions; weight of cars, speed on the verge of braking, temperature of brake disk and condition of the upper side of rail, etc. Therefore we will study how the these factors impact with the brake distance via a real test results.

  • Container Freight Station(CFS), which would be located inside terminal or outside, plays the role of consolidating less than container load(LCL) cargo gathered from multi shippers and deconsolidating full container load cargo into individual consignment. When CFS is allocated inside terminal it muses several problem such as traffic gam around terminal, high social and logistics cost and deterioration of terminal condition. This study, therefore, tries to evaluate the location of CFS, inside and outside of terminal, with respect to the social and logistics costs.

  • 21세기는 한국 철도의 르네상스시대라고 부르고 있다. 이는 자동차와 비행기 등 다른 교통수단에 의해 낙후되어있던 철도가 다시 안전하면서도 정확한 운송시간 등으로 그 경쟁력을 확보해가고 있으며 때를 같이하여 고속철도의 개통을 앞두고 있기 때문이다. 이러한 철도의 경쟁력을 강화하는데 크게 기여한 부분 중 하나가 신호 보안장치 즉 열차제어장치의 발전에 있다고 하겠다. 하지만 열차를 제어하기 위해선 실시간격으로 열차의 절대 위치를 알아야만 하는 문제점이 있다. 이를 비교적 쉽게 극복할 수 있는 방법 중 하나가 인공위성을 이용한 통신기술을 이용하는 것이다. 이는 이미 다른 분야에서는 상용화되어 서비스가 이루어지고 있는 GPS(Global Positioning System)이다. 본 논문에서는 열차의 절대 위치를 GPS(Global position system)를 이용하여 구해 보고자 한다. 이를 위해 GPS 신호 추적을 확장형 칼만 필터를 적용하여 열차의 속도 변화에 대한 GPS 신호 추적 루프를 예측 제어함으로써 보다 정확하고 빠른 GPS 위치 정보를 도출하였다.

  • This paper presents development of meander monitoring system base reliable detection at conveyer belt used for materials transport line of steel company. Conventional detection method is losed the confidence, because of the place with bad surroundings of measurement so much that materials production line are completely exposed to dust, moisture and vibration. For the solution of this problem, we developed infrared meander detection system using the infrared sensor array and one chip microprocessor which is available for bad surroundings and inexpensive. The reliability of the system was estimated by experiment.

  • In the cluster tool, it is necessary to precisely control the vacuum pressure for the wafer transportation between transport module and cassette or process modules with the range of 1*10$^{-4}$ to 5*10$^{-5}$ torr. So we have designed the pressure control system for the transport module of the cluster tool and have evaluated its performance. Digital PID is utilized with the weighted sum of both three previous errors and one current error. The feedback signal is put into the nitrogen mass flow controller using the transport module controller. This pressure control system can prevent the transport module from the particle generation and backstreaming of hazardous process gases of the process chamber.

  • 세계 선진항만은 해운물류시장의 변화에 대응하고, 경쟁력 확보 방안으로 첨단 자동화 장비와 운영시스템 도입을 통한 자동화를 지향하고 있다. 국내 부산항 신항 또한 자동화 컨테이너터미널로 개발을 추진하고 있는 것으로 알려져 있다. 자동화 터미널은 각종 자동화 장비와 시스템이 유기적으로 구성되어 있으며, 이들의 효율적인 운영을 통해 생산성을 향상시킬 수 있다. 터미널의 안벽과 장치장 사이의 컨테이너 운송을 담당하는 이송장비는 컨테이너터미널의 핵심장비로 이의 효율적인 운영은 컨테이너터미널의 생산성과 직결되어 있다. 본 연구에서는 자동화 컨테이너터미널의 운영생산성 향상을 위한 하역장비와 이송장비의 운영방안에 대하여 연구한다. 특히 DHST(Dual Hoist Second Trolley)타입의 QC와 ASHC의 장비특성과 장비간의 연계작업을 고려하여, QC의 대기시간을 최소화하여 하역 생산성을 최대화할 수 있는 ASHC Dispatching Rule을 제시하고자 한다.

산소흡탈착능을 가지는 산소부화막의 개발

  • 1.서론 : 산소선택성이 좋은 투과막은 산소부화에 의한 연소효율의 향상, 간이 산소발생장치에의 응용 등 여러가지의 용도가 예상된다. 이를 위한 준비단계로 막소재 및 막형상에 대한 검토가 \ulcorner발하게 진행되고 있다. 그 중에서 높은 산소선택성을 발현하는 방법이 주목되어지고 있는데 이는 가역적 산소흡탈착능을 갖는 carrier분자를 이용한 촉지운송계(facilitated transport system)를 구축하는 방법이 있다. 본 연구에서는 [Co(salen)]과 같은 $N_2O_2$형 평면정방착제(Square planar complex)이며, salen의 shift염기부분을 bipyridine cycle, phenoxide부분을 해리한 amide로 골격변환한 구조를 갖고 있는 6,6'-bis(benzoylamino)-2,2'-bipyridine(babpH$_2$)의 covalt착체([Co(babp)]를 배위결합에 의해 고분자막중에 고정하고, 산소흡탈착능, 산소투과성, 안정성 등을 검토하는 것을 바탕으로 우수한 선택성 산소투과막을 개발하는 것을 목적으로 한다.
