Centrality Analysis of Industry Sector for National Flagship Industry Selection (국가주력산업 선정을 위한 산업의 중심성 분석)

  • The selection of a flagship industry is based on whether the industry's developmental impact is great and whether the industry can be the center of the national economy. Here, a ripple effect may be derived by analyzing the forward and backward linkage effects, but in the case of industries that are the centerpieces of the national economy, each researcher reported different results. Consequently, they could not agree on their flagship industry despite belonging to the same time. This study presents a prestige centrality of network analysis as a way of analyzing an industry, which was the center of the national economy, and performed empirical analysis utilizing the 2013 I-O Table. The analysis showed that the industries classified as those with high centrality include the energy industry, which is essential for economic development, can create a synergy effect with other industries, such as the transportation industry, industries with a high level of export and employment, such as electronics and chemicals, and industries for domestic demand, such as wholesale and retail, food services and accommodation.

An Efficient Location Management Scheme based on Individual and Group Location Managements with Different Sized Location Areas in Mobile Communication Networks (이동통신 네트워크에서 서로 다른 크기의 위치 영역을 가지는 개별 및 그룹 위치 관리에 기반한 효과적인 위치 관리 기법)

  • In group location management, when a transportation system(TS) with multiple mobile subscribers(MSs) changes location area(LA), location management is performed by group location registration by TS, instead of individual location registrations by MSs. In previous works, although it is assumed that LA in group location management is the same as that in individual location management, it is not appropriate to assume the same sized LAs since MSs in a TS have different characteristics from MSs which are not in a TS from the aspect of the speed and aggregate call arrival rates. Thus, in this paper, we propose an efficient location management scheme based on individual and group location managements with different sized LAs, and the performance of the proposed scheme is analyzed from the aspect of signaling cost at the wireless interface. Results reveal that the proposed scheme outperforms the conventional scheme by selecting an appropriate sized LA for group location management.

화물위치추적 기술 현황 및 개발 방향

  • 본 연구에서는 웹기반의 화물차량위치추적시스템의 개발과 관련된 문제를 다루고 있다. 화물위치추적 시스템이란 이동하는 화물차량으로부터 위치데이터 및 관련 정보를 수신하여 중앙관제센터에서 이 정보를 데이터베이스에 저장하여 두고 화물위치 정보를 지도 위에 표시하는 시스템으로 화주, 운송회사 등 육상물류관련 기관에서 화물위치추적, 공동수배송, 화물차량 통제 등 다양한 목적으로 사용될 수 있다. 화물차량위치추적시스템은 AVLS(Automatic Vehicle Location System)라 불리우면서 산업계에서 활용되고 있으며 위치획득 방법의 종류에 따라 다양한 유형의 AVLS모델이 등장하고 있다. 예를 들면 전통적인 GPS(Global Positioning System) 위성 수신, DGPS(Differential GPS) 기지국, PCS(Personal Communication System) Cell, 도로기반 시설에 포함되는 비콘 등의 방법에 의해 AVLS는 구현되고 있다. AVLS는 정보통신 요소 기술과 정보통신 기반 시설로 구성되는데, 정보통신 요소기술로는 위치획측의 매개체인 AVL단말기와 관제시스템 S/W. 그리고 GIS(Geographic Information System)가 있고, 정보통신 기반 시설로는 차량의 단말기와 관제시스템 사이의 데이터 중계를 담당하는 네트워크가 있다. 화물차량위치추적시스템을 구성하기 위한 구비요건으로 중계망의 안정성과 신뢰성, 획득한 위치데이터의 정확성, 관제시스템의 완성도와 AVL단말기의 사용자 인터페이스, GIS S/W개발을 위한 Map API(Application Program Interface)등을 들 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 PCS Cell 방식에 의한 위치결정방식을 채택하였는데, 이것은 PCS망을 기반으로 데이터를 주고받이며 인터넷 단말기로 확장 가능한 PCS 단말기를 사용해서 위치추적을 하는 시스템이다. 이러한 시스템을 선정하게된 배경은 단말기아 망 이용료의 가격이 저렴하여 현실적으로 트럭이 쉽게 부착할 수 있다는 장점이 있으며 나아가 인터넷 단말기를 활용하여 차량과 관제센터사이에 메시지 전송 등 부가적인 서비스가 가능하기 때문이다.

  • Many shipping companies have suffered about high oil cost and environment regulation as people are concerned about the environment, therefore concentrating on energy using efficiency of the ship. The Skysails Company of Germany developed Skysails System for 4 years, making Shipping Company take interest under such situation. Skysails System uses a large kite in the ship, decreasing fuel expenses. So examination and utility analysis on Skysails System application are a necessity by using weather condition in the Coastal Waters of Korea where feeder network was well-developed. As a result, we could find out the system's efficacy on fuel saving and environment cost saving.

  • 스마트워터그리드(Smart Water Grid; 이하 SWG)란 현재 직면에 있는 물 부족, 물 안보, 물 복지 등 물에 대한 문제를 ICT 기술을 활용하여 물관리의 새로운 패러다임을 제시할 수 있는 융합 기술이다. 즉, SWG는 기존의 수자원 관리 시스템의 한계를 극복하기 위해 첨단 정보통신기술을 이용하는 고효율의 차세대 인프라 시스템으로 다양한 수원을 활용하고 물을 효율적으로 배분 관리 운송하여 수자원의 불균형을 해소하고, 첨단센서네트워크를 이용해 용수관리 전분야에 걸쳐 양방향 실시간으로 용수정보를 감시 대응하여 용수관리와 에너지 효율의 최적화된 메가시티(mega-city)에 적합한 지능형 물관리가 가능할 것으로 예상되는 시스템이다. 따라서 국토교통부 과제로 추진중인 SWG 연구단에서 개발한 스마트 워터 기술을 영종도 112 블록에 적용하여 지역주민의 물복지 향상 및 물 사용자에 대한 소비자 만족도를 높이는데 목적을 두고 데모플랜트를 구축 방안을 수립하였다. 영종도 112블록(인천 운서동 및 운북동 일원)은 인천 공촌정수장에서 해저관로를 지나 영종통합 가압장에서 가압 후 공항신도시배수지에서 물을 공급받고 있는 지역으로 면적은 $17.41km^2$, 인구는 약 17,000명, 물사용량 $8,000m^3$/일, 총관로연장 약 55km, 유수율이 겨우 73.2% 지역이다. SWG 적용성 평가를 위해 영종도 112 블록에 유수율 제고 및 운영비용 저감을 목적으로 데모플랜트를 구축하였다. 스마트 계측을 위해 스마트미터 469개(15~20mm), 디지털미터 172개(25~200mm), 누수유무센서 1개소, 다항목 수질측정기 1개소, 유량계 3개소, 수압계 5개소, AMI 시스템 641개 및 물효율 운영프로그램과 물정보 App서비스 기능으로 구성하였다. 물효율 운영프로그램은 실시간 수요량 예측, 배수지 운영에 따른 취수량, 송수량, 펌프 대수조합 및 운전스케줄링이 가능한 경제적 물공급 스케줄링, 관망상태 감시 및 제어(실시간 유량/수압 분석을 통한 누수분석) 기능이 탑재되어 통합운영센터에서 운영할 계획이다. 데모플랜트 운영을 통해 수자원의 효율적인 배분 및 공급, 유지관리 향상, 운영 비용 최소화 등의 결과를 바탕으로 신도시 및 기존도시의 물관리 정책수립에 활용할 수 있을 뿐만아니라 시간적 공간적 불균형 해소 및 물시장 발전에 크게 기여할 것으로 사료된다.

  • This primary purpose of this study is to suggest alternatives for raising the Korea Post as a global logistics firm using a case study. The following alternatives for raising the Korea Post as a global logistics are suggested. First, as a first stage, in addition to previously established business scope such as saving, mail, insurance, logistics business unit have to be added. Second, as a second stage, warehousing and multimodal transport logistics have to be strengthened through M&A or self-financing and investment. Third, as a third stage, market coverage and service scope is to be expanded to country having larger logistics market size. Finally, as a fourth stage, global-oriented total logistics service is to be provided.

Analysis of Market and Management for Global Container Terminal Operators (글로벌 컨테이너 터미널 운영사의 시장 및 경영 현황 분석)

  • Once it has been built, a container terminal is impossible to move to another location. It is hard to rectify wrong decisions in a container terminal. This highlights the importance of decision making for a container terminal. The port management about a container terminal has developed from a cargo interface location between sea and land transport, to the standardization of information and procedures due to globalization among global shipping and terminal operators. This research focuses on the current states of market and management for global container terminal operators by investigating up-to-date data for them. The current market states for global container terminal operators are analyzed by using by Herfindahl-Hirschman Index. The analyses of current management states for global container terminal operators are divided into profitability analysis, activity analysis, and bankruptcy risk analysis. Finally, global container terminal operators are clustered into three groups by the current management states.

  • The unmanned aerial vehicle that emerged with the 4th Industrial Revolution attracts attention not only from Korea but also from around the world, and its utilization and market size are gradually expanding. For the first time, it was used for military purposes, but it is currently used for transportation, investigation, surveillance, and agriculture. China, along with the US and Europe, is emerging as a leader in the commercial unmanned aerial vehicle market, and Korea, which has the world's seventh-largest technology in related fields, is striving to promote various technology development policies and system improvement related to unmanned aerial vehicles. Military drones will revolutionize the means of war by using a means of war called an unmanned system based on theories such as network-oriented warfare and effect-oriented warfare. Mobile equipment, including drones, is greatly affected by environmental factors such as terrain and weather, as well as technological developments and interests in the field. Now, drones are being used actively in many fields, and especially in the military field, the use of advanced drones is expected to create a new defense environment and provide a new paradigm for war.

  • The small electric vehicles equipped with V2X(vehicle to everything) systems may provide more information and function to the existing navigation system of the vehicle. The key components of V2X technology include V2V (vehicle to vehicle), V2N(vehicle to network) and V2I (vehicle to infrastructure). This study is to design and implementation of VI type E-PTO which is interfaced with external equipments, the work designs the components of E-PTO such as DC/DC converter, DC/AC converter, battery bidirectional charging system etc. Also, it implements the devices and control systems for driving. The test results of VI type E-PTO components showed allowable 10% requirements of transient voltage variation rate and recovery time within 100ms for start/stop and normal operation.

A Study on Frequency Spectrum Scanning for Maritime Autonomous Surface Ship's M-S2X (Maritime-Ship to Everything) Communication (자율운항선박용 선박중심직접통신(M-S2X) 주파수 탐색에 관한 연구)

  • The pinnacle of rapidly changing and advancing maritime transportation technology is expected to be the Maritime Autonomous Surface Ship (MASS). The implementation of various services within the MASS is likely to be feasible through the ship-centric network known as the S2X communication system. However, existing communication systems face issues such as service traffic saturation and failure to meet demanded functionalities, necessitating the proactive introduction of additional communication technologies. In this study, the concept of S2X communication for the MASS was redefined, deriving required functionalities and ultimately selecting frequencies suitable for utilization. Candidate frequency groups suitable for the derived communication requirements were identified, and communication frequencies prioritized for the initial application were chosen through expert consensus. It is anticipated that through further research, including experimentation to validate these frequencies, they could be utilized in implementing services for autonomous ship navigation in the future.
