머신비전을 이용한 업쇼버 로드의 표면검사 시스템 개발 (Development of Inspection System for Surface of a Shock Absorber Rod using Machine vision)

  • 쇼크 업쇼바의 로드는 피스톤부 중심에 위치하여 왕복운동을 담당하는 부분으로 표면의 불량(찍힘)이 있을 경우 감쇠력에 대한 차이로 제품 성능을 제대로 발휘하는데 문제 발생의 요인이 되고 있다. 로드표면은 열처리 상태로 표면 광택으로 인하여 쉽게 불량이 표시되지 않으며, 작업자가 육안으로 로드의 이물질 및 찍힘, 기포 검사를 진행함으로써 눈의 피로도가 높아지고, 작업자 육안에 의존하기 때문에 제품의 검사 품질이 일정하지 않다. 본 연구에서는 제품의 원통 형상을 고려하여 라인스캔카메라를 이용한 머신비전 영상처리 기법으로 0.3mm이상의 표면의 불량을 검출하고, 검사단계에서 발생할 수 있는 표면 불량을 최소화하기 위한 전 공정 자동이송 및 양불 제품의 혼입을 방지하는 자동검사 시스템 개발에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. 표면검사 시스템 개발로 작업자의 육안 검사에 의존하고 있던 쇼크업쇼버 로드의 표면에 대한 정밀 검사시스템 구축으로 품질검사 기준을 확보하고 표준화된 검사로 신뢰도가 향상되었다.

홍삼소재를 활용한 건강기능식품 개발 (Development of Health Functional Food Using the Standardized Materials from Red Ginseng(Panax ginseng))

  • 최근에 고령화 사회에 접어들면서 건강하게 활동하며 수명을 다하는 것이 중요한 연구과제가 되고 있다. 이 때문에 영양, 운동, 스트레스, 환경 등과 관련하여 암, 당뇨병, 고혈압, 비만, 동맥경화 등 생활습관병의 극복이 사회문제가 되고 있는 실정이다. 지금까지 고려인삼의 대표적인 동물실험 및 임상학적 연구결과를 종합하여 보면 성인의 난치성 만성질환에 대해서 치료제보다는 질병을 예방하고 회복촉진에 보다 큰 효과 있음을 확인할 수 있다. 이는 인삼이 식품과 의약품의 중간에 위치한 식품의약품(Nutraceutical)의 용도로 활용할 수 있음을 시사한다. 현재까지 인삼제품에 표시되는 기능성의 내용은 약 3,000여편 이상의 약리효능에 관련된 논문이 발표되었다 하더라도 "피로회복, 면역력 증진, 혈소판 응집 억제를 통한 혈액흐름에 도움이 됩니다"이며 이외의 기능성 표시는 현재로서 원칙적으로 불가한 것으로 되어 있다. 그러나 시험물질의 규격화 및 임상시험의 검토기준을 만족시키는 과학적 자료제출에 의한 개별 평가 후 표시내용의 확대가 가능하다. 고려인삼의 다양한 성분 중 ginsenoside는 주요 약효성분으로 인정을 받고 있으며 현재 품질관리의 지표성분으로 활용되고 있다. 이러한 개별 ginsenoside의 약리작용을 보면 서로 유사 또는 상반된 효과를 보여주는 성분들이 공존하고 있어 인삼의 다양한 약리효과와 일맥상통하는 것으로 보고되고 있다. 아울러, ginsenoside는 인삼의 부위 별로 현격한 차이를 보여주기 때문에 소재의 규격화는 매우 중요하다고 판단된다. 따라서, 인삼제품 개발의 가장 중요한 조건은 의약품에 가까운 기능성식품으로 세계적인 제품을 만들기 위해서는 표준화가 선행되어야 한다. 이와 같은 조건을 잘 충족시키는 제품이 스위스 "파마톤의 진사나(백삼추출물, G115)" 제품으로 생각할 수 있다. 따라서, 고려인삼의 수출시장 확대 및 세계적인 제품을 위해서는 진사나에 필적할 수 있는 새로운 홍삼의 표준화된 추출물을 도출하는 것이 무엇보다 급선무라 생각한다. 아울러 고려인삼의 특장점 발굴을 위한 표준화 된 추출분획물, 활성성분 및 효능과 연계한 새로운 고부가가치 창출제품(식품/의약품)개발에 주력해야 할 것이다.

최대 및 최대하 벤치프레스 반복운동 중에 근활성도 및 근피로도의 비교 (A Comparison of Muscle Activity and Fatigue Between Maximal and Submaximal Repetitions Exercise During the Bench Press)

  • The study aim was to investigate a comparison of muscle activity fatigue between maximal and submaximal strength gains during the bench press in men. It was hypothesized that maximal voluntary contraction (%MVC) would similar gains between maximal and submaximal strength gains during the bench press, but median frequency (MDF) would increase in maximal compared with submaximal exercise. Employing a randomized, counterbalanced crossover design, 12 men were asked to perform maximal repetitions and submaximal repetitions (concentric: 1-s, eccentric: 1-s, 2-s/repetition) to failure with a load of 85% of 1RM for the bench press, with a 3-minute recovery between the sets. Each subject was tested for the number of repetitions and sets, total work in bench press. Surface electromyography (EMG) was recorded from the pectoralis major, deltoid anterior, and triceps brachii for %MVC and MDF. Total work was significantly higher in the submaximal repetition exercise than that the maximal repetition exercise (p<.05). Muscle fatigue of pectoralis major, deltoid anterior and triceps brachii were significantly smaller in the submaximnal repetition exercise than that the maximal repetition exercise (p<.05, respectively). However, muscle activity of pectoralis major, deltoid anterior, and triceps brachii were not significantly different between exercises. Our study showed that a smaller muscle fatigue in submaximal repetitions, despite higher in total work and a similar in muscle activity were observed. These results suggest that submaximal repetitions during the bench press would be enhanced intensity and/or volume compared with maximal repetitions exercise.

등속성 운동 시 근전도 주파수 분석에서 얻은 피로지수의 특성 (Characteristics of the Fatigue Index in EMG Power Spectrum Analysis During Isokinetic Exercise)

  • In rehabilitation programs involving muscle re-education and endurance exercise, it is necessary to confirm when fatigue occurs. It is also necessary to quantify fatigue, to confirm whether the muscle has been exercised sufficiently. In general, as fatigue occurs, the force-generating ability of the muscle is reduced. If the median frequency (MDF) obtained from electromyogram (EMG) power spectrum is correlated highly with work, then the timing and degree of fatigue may be confirmed. This study examined the relationship between work and MDF obtained from the EMG power spectrum during repetitive isokinetic exercise. Surface EMG signals were collected from biceps brachii and vastus lateralis of 52 normal subjects (26 males, 26 females) at $120^{\circ}/sec$ and $60^{\circ}/sec$ while performing an isokinetic exercise. The exercise was finished at 25% of peak work. MDF data was obtained using a moving fast Fourier transformation (FFT), and random noise was removed using the inverse FFT, then a new MDF data was obtained from the main signal. There was a high correlation between work and MDF during repetitiv isokinetic exercise in the biceps brachii and vastus lateralis of males and the biceps brachii of females (r=.50~.77). However, there was a low correlation between work and MDF in the vastus lateralis of females (r=.06~.19).

헛개나무 열매 열수추출물 투여에 의한 생쥐의 지구력 운동 수행 능력 향상 및 피로개선 효과 (Hotwater Extract of Hovenia dulcis Peduncle Improves Exercise Performance and Anti-fatigue Effect in Mice)

  • The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of hot water extract of peduncle obtained from Hovenia dulcis Thunb (HD) which is commercially developed for the protective effect on the alcoholic hepatotoxicity, on the endurance capacity for weight loaded forced swimming mice. The swimming times to exhaustion in mice fed 100 and 200 mg/kg HD for 2 weeks were prolonged 3.6 and 3.7 fold, and for 4 weeks 1.9 and 2.7 fold compared with each vehicle control ($42.8{\pm}20.5$ min and $67.7{\pm}47.8$ min, for 2 and 4 weeks), respectively. Blood biochemical parameters for ALT, AST, creatinine and BUN were not significantly different between from HD fed or control mice. Although HD fed mice swam over 2 fold longer time than vehicle control mice at 4 weeks, blood biomarkers of physical fatigue such as glucose, triglyceride and free fatty acid, lactate were not significant different and even tended to ameliorate. Hepatic lipid peroxidation and SOD activity did not significantly change in HD fed- and vehicle control exhausted swimming mice at 2 or 4 weeks. However, catalase activity in HD-fed mice was significantly increased in a dose-dependent manner compared with vehicle control mice. The present study indicates that HD improved physical fatigue and exercise performance in mice. Therefore, it has a potential for the pharmacological effect of anti-fatigue.

근피로를 유발하는 운동강도 변화가 슬관절의 위치감각 인지에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Graded Exercise-Induced Fatigue on Position Sense of the Knee)

  • It was recently reported that exercise-induced fatigue is related to joint position sense although some controversy remains. The purposes of this study were to examine the effect on the accuracy of reproducing the knee angles after a fatiguing isokinetic quadriceps exercise at four different levels (10%, 30%, 50%, and 70% of maximal force) and to find the optimal exercise level without causing knee joint proprioception impairment. Forty healthy women, ages 19 to 27, were randomly assigned to four experimental groups. Before and after the exercise, accuracy of positioning with respect to auditory feedback for specific angles was estimated by calculating the mean errors between specific angles and reproduction angles. Fatigue was measured by EMG signals displayed by a frequency spectrum analysis during the quadriceps exercise. Results showed that there was no significant difference in accuracy of the knee joint positioning sense following the exercises in group 1, group 2, and group 3 (10%, 30%, and 50% of maximal force, respectively); the exception being group 4 (70%). Fatigue level was significantly increased in group 4 but there were no significant increases of fatigue level in group 1, group 2, or group 3. The results concluded that the optimal exercise level to acquire the therapeutic exercise effectiveness without position sense impairment was at 50% of maximal force. Further studies using large sample size and patient groups with poor knee joint proprioception would be needed to confirm this conclusion and to clarify the possibility of clinical applications.

트레드밀 운동 동안 인솔의 종류가 피로도에 미치는 영향 (Effect of the Fatigue to Insole Types During Treadmill Exercise)

  • The purpose of this study was to assess the effect of applied insole types to lower extremities muscle fatigue during treadmill exercise. The control group and each different insole type group consisted of ten healthy male subjects. In the control group and each different insole type (soft type; 10 shore, semi-rigid type; 33 shore, rigid type; 50 shore) treadmill exercise was performed in twenty-five minutes. The electromyography (EMG) signals of four muscle (tibialis anterior, gastrocnemius medialis, rectus femoris, biceps femoris) were recording at sampling rate of 1024 Hz during treadmill exercise. The localized muscle fatigue (LMF) can be investigated using power spectral analysis. When did data analysis that excepted initial five minutes. The raw EMG signals was processed using the fast Fourier Transformation (FFT) and the median power frequency value was determined in initial ten second period and in last ten second period. Fatigue index was calculated and collected data were statistically analyzed by SPSS version 10.0 two-way using analysis of variance (ANOVA) with repeated measures ($4{\times}4$) was used to determine the main effect and interaction. Post hoc was performed with least significant difference. A level of significance was .05. Muscles fatigue index were significantly decreased in insole types (p<.05) and not significantly different in muscle (p>.05). Post hoc analysis shows that fatigue index in soft insole type, semi-rigid insole type and rigid insole type were lower than that control group (p=.028, p=.146, p=.095). There were no interaction between insole type and muscles (p>.05). The finding of this study can be used as a fundamental data when insole is applied and insole can be used to decreased of a fatigue during the dynamic exercise.

목 주위 근육 통증 여부에 따른 스마트폰 사용이 근 피로도와 통증, 목뼈운동범위에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Smartphone Use on Muscle Fatigue and Pain and, Cervical Range of Motion Among Subjects With and Without Neck Muscle Pain)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of smartphone use on muscle fatigue and tenderness in the cervical erector spinae (CES) and the upper trapezius (UT) and on the cervical range of motion among subjects with and without neck muscle pain. The subjects were 30 smartphone users in their 20 s who -were assigned to either an experimental group with neck muscle pain or a control group without neck muscle pain. Muscle fatigue and tenderness in the CES and the UT as well as the subjects' cervical range of motion were measured before and after 20-min smartphone sessions in a sitting position. In a between-group comparison of muscle fatigue, the experimental group showed a significantly greater decrease in median frequency in the CES and the right UT after smartphone use (p<.05). Regarding the assessment of muscle tenderness after smartphone use, the experimental group showed a statistically significant decrease in the pressure-pain threshold (PPT) in all muscles (p<.05), whereas the control group showed a significantly decreased PPT in the right CES and the UT (p<.05). The assessment of the cervical range of motion revealed a statistically significant reduction in the cervical flexion-extension and left lateral flexion in the experimental group (p<.05) after smartphone use. However, there was no significant change in the cervical range of motion in the control group (p>.05) after smartphone use. When compared with the control group, the experimental group demonstrated greater changes in cervical extension, lateral flexion, and rotation, except for cervical flexion (p<.05). In conclusion, when smartphone users have pre-existing neck muscle pain, the use of a smartphone further increased muscle fatigue and tenderness in the neck and reduced PPT and the cervical range of motion.

근피로 유발 후 신장운동시 심부투열치료가 슬관절 위치감각에 미치는 영향 (An Influence Stretching Exercise with Ultrasound and Microwave Application Having on Knee Joint Position Sense after Induction to Muscle Fatigue)

  • Purpose : This study will recognize about the influences that stretching exercise with ultrasound and microwave application has on a knee joint position sense after induction to muscle fatigue. Methods : The object by each ten people divided at random thirty physical healthy adult men to constant group 1, group 2, group 3 to the objects. Treadmill exercised for induction to muscle fatigue, and let an exercise intensity decided on 85% of the maximum heart beat number with the goal heart beat number, and you exercise. Goal heart beat number measured as used heat rate monitor, and measured a oneself at the scale in order to recognize own physical state after end treadmill exercise to all objects to criteria to evaluate an ability shown in case of sports. Knee joint position sense used a N-K table, and experimenter did so as adaptation got passively arbitrary three angle done, and to order an original position. The object carried in person out one angle that experimenter designated, and measured repeatedly an error along him to this three times after being so. Rear before induction to muscle fatigue a position sense and measured after stretching exercise application, and played. Stretching exercise after induction applied stretching exercise, stretching exercise with ultrasound, stretching exercise with microwave, and applied to each group 1, group 2 and group 3 to muscle fatigue. Results : The result each group the difference which considers does not come out it was not but, improvement of the position sense is the possibility of knowing was from group 1, group 2 and group 3. Conclusion : These findings stretching exercise and stretching exercise with ultrasound and microwave after induct ion give help to a position sense elevation, and execute stretching exercise, and be effective against damage prevention by physical insecurity to muscle fatigue, and look.

Multi-MW급 풍력발전용 블레이드 설계에 관한 연구 Part II : 구조 건전성 평가 (Multi-MW Class Wind Turbine Blade Design Part II : Structural Integrity Evaluation)

  • 풍력터빈 블레이드는 바람의 운동에너지를 기계적 에너지로 변환하는 장치로써 풍력발전시스템의 출력성능, 에너지변환효율, 하중 및 동적 안정성에 영향을 미칠 수 있기 때문에 주요부품으로 분류된다. 따라서 최적의 블레이드 설계결과를 얻기 위해서는 시스템 특성이 고려된 공력-구조 통합설계가 중요하며, 국제표준 또는 인증기관의 가이드라인에 따른 설계평가를 통해 구조건전성의 검증이 요구된다. 본 연구에서는 블레이드 설계 인증 시 요구되는 평가항목 및 판정기준에 대한 상세해설과, (사)한국선급의 인증기준에 따른 2 MW 급 블레이드(KR40.1b)에 대한 설계평가 결과를 제시하였다. 유한요소 해석에 의한 극한 강도, 좌굴 안정성, 한계 허용 팁 변형과 누적 손상 법에 의한 피로 강도 해석결과가 검토되었으며, KR40.1b 블레이드는 모든 평가항목에 대한 구조 건전성을 만족하는 것으로 확인되었다.
