인터넷 우편 시스템은 웹상에서 작성한 우편을 수신자에게 메일뿐만 아니라 이를 인쇄하여 수신자에게 직접 전달해주는 우편 전달 시스템이다. 따라서 직접적인 우편을 전달함으로서 기존의 디지털 문명의 의한 각박해진 현 사회에 보다 인간미가 넘치는 매개체로서의 역할과 획기적인 시간 단축과 비용절감의 효과를 누리고자 한다. 현 인터넷 우편 시스템은 크게 3가지로 Front Agent, End Agent, Management Agent 나뉘어 지는데 본 논문에서는 Front Agent를 중심으로 서술하였다.

Advertizing postal system combined with GIS and temporal/spatial mining techniques has been developed to activate advertizing service and conduct marketing campaign efficiently. In order to select customers accurately, this system provide purchase propensity information using sequential, cyclicpatterns and lifesytle information through RFM analysis and clustering technique. It is possible for corporate mailer to do customer oriented marketing campaign with the advertizing postal system as well as 'one-stop' service including target customer selection, mail production, and delivery request.

Internet, media connecting global, has increased fast at every year. Many people have been used email as method of exchanging data. But, email has many problem. 우편함이 멀리 떨어져 있으면 우편이 도착해도 실시간으로 확인이 불가능하다. 또한 잠금 여부에 따라 누구나 쉽게 우편을 수령할 수 있으므로 도난의 위험이 있다. 따라서 사물 인터넷을 사용하여 스마트폰으로 실시간 알림이 뜨는 자동화 시스템을 도입해 편의성과 보안 가능성을 높인 우편함 시스템이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 사물인터넷 기술을 이용한 우편함 개발 경험을 바탕으로 자동화 시스템의 부재로 인해 발생하는 문제점을 알아보고 이를 해결하기 위한 방법을 제시한다.

국 내외적으로 무인우편장치를 도입하여 우편물 접수 편의성을 증대시키려는 노력이 지속되고 있다. 그러나 고객은 무인우편장치에서 화면터치 방식의 키보드를 사용하여 접수정보를 직접 입력하고 있으며 사용에 어려움을 느끼고 있다. 이로 인해 접수정보인 우편번호, 주소, 수취인명을 자동으로 획득하여 고객에게 제공하는 시스템 개발의 필요성이 제기되었다. 본 논문에서는 우편영상을 이용하여 접수정보를 자동으로 획득하고 고객에게 제공하여 접수 편의성을 증대시킬 수 있는 서버/클라이언트 기반의 분산형 접수정보 자동획득 시스템을 구현하고 무인우체국내의 무인 우편접수 장치에 적용하였다.

Electronic mail (E-mail) is an integral part of communication for the recent Internet users. However, e-mail has also come to serve as a means to support flood of unwanted spam mails and junk mails having bad purposes. This paper was conducted in order to develop an intelligent e-mail system using user behavior pattern that can prevent these unnecessary information and enable the user to enjoy communication via e-mail in a cleaner environment. The concentrated analysis of the user behavior in terms of using e-mail functions has resulted in better classification between unnecessary and necessary information, thereby facilitating faster disposal of spam mails.

One of the most important security issues of e-mail service is user privacy. Currently, various security protocols, like PGP(pretty Good Privacy), S/MIME(Secure/Multipurpose Internet Mail Extension), have been proposed. These protocols, however, do not provide forward secrecy. Recently, some security protocols that provide forward secrecy were proposed. But all of them require changes to the current e-mail infrastructure. Moreover, contrary to authors' intention, some of them do not actually provide perfect forward secrecy. In this paper, we propose a new practical e-mail security protocol. The proposed protocol provides perfect forward secrecy and uses a practical e-mail model that dose not require any changes to existing e-mail servers. It encrypts and authenticates messages efficiently using elliptic curve based signcryption scheme. In addition, we provide a way to send secure group e-mails.

With internet development, many peoples use their email to exchange documents, register for web services, and much more. Some individuals/organizations (including educational institutions) use their own domain name for email instead of a domain provided by commercial email services. However, suppose the domain used for custom email expires. In that case, other individuals/organizations can reuse the domain, and the new domain owner can send and receive all emails incoming to the domain. It makes us concerned about Privacy violations. Email that new domain owners can look into also contains sensitive emails like password reset notifications, credit card statements, order history, and more. In this research, we would like to describe the privacy violations caused by the expired domain used for email that did not remove all dependencies of email users and propose a solution.
