4-state 바코드의 정보는 우편번호, 배달순서코드, 고객 정보 등을 수록되며, 판독율 향상을 위한 오류정정 코드워드를 적용할 수 있다. 이 4-state 바코드는 우편물 자동구분처리의 효율화 및 우편물류의 정보표현, 전달, 처리를 효율적으로 지원되도록 개발하고 있다. 본 논문은 우편물 접수 및 처리과정에서 필요로 하는 4-state 고객 바코드 인쇄규격 검증 및 판독시스템 개발에 관한 것으로 4개의 높이로 구성된 바들의 특성과 바의 두께 및 공간 값이 균일한 간격으로 바가 인쇄되는 특징을 고려하여 Laser Diode 배열방법을 적용하였다. 또한, 우편물을 자동으로 이송시키고, 일정한 영역에 배열한 Laser Diode에 의하여 바의 두께, 공간, 높이 값을 정확하게 판독될 수 있도록 한 것이다.

To effectively control a vast amount of postal packages, we need the automatic system for extracting the address region from CCD scanner images. In this paper, we propose a address region extraction algorithm in the standard postal label. We used geometric characteristics of the underlying address regions and defined several criteria for fast detection of address regions. As a result, we accomplished a successful detection and classification of the postal package labels in real time.

The Korea Post plays a public role in providing postal services such as mail, savings, and insurance to the public. Although postal machines are becoming automated, workers are still exposed to various industrial accidents caused by being caught in the mail, and musculoskeletal disorders. Therefore, occupational safety and health activities are needed to prevent serious accidents. In this study, the level of safety and health consciousness was analyzed for employees working in the postal logistics center The tasks such as regulations and procedures, organization composition, and safety and health education method improvement, were classified into five items and proposed, and efficient industrial accident prevention was presented.

최근 물류가 취급되는 발착장에서는 업무효율을 높이기 위해 RFID 시스템을 구축하여 물류의 발착업무를 자동으로 수행하는 사례가 늘고 있다. 본 고는 우편집중국 발착장에 900MHz 대역의 RFID 시스템을 구축하기에 앞서, 시스템을 구성하는 주요 장비의 기능 및 성능을 사전에 검증하고 대상장비의 신뢰성을 제고하고 시간과 노력 및 비용을 줄이기 위해 BMT 를 실시한 내용을 기술한 것이다. BMT 의 주요 항목으로는, RFID 고정형 리더의 전파간섭시험, 주파수 호핑시험, 롤파렛 인식시험 등이었으며, 해당 장비의 기능 및 성능을 기술적으로 검증할 수 있었다.

Recently many efforts on the development of automatic processing system for delivery sequence sorting have been performed in ETRI, which requires the use of postal4-state bar code system to encode delivery points. The 4-state bar code called postal 4-state barcode for high speed processing that has been specifically designed for information processing of logistics and automatic processing of he mail items. The Information of 4-state bar code indicates mail data such as post code, delivery sequence number, error correction code worked, customer information, and a unique ID. This appear addresses the issue on he reduction of reading error in postal 4-state raster beam based bar code reader. The raster beam scanning features are the unequally distributed number of spots per each unit, which cause reading errors. We propose a method for reducing the bar code reading error by adjusting measured values of bar code width to its average value over each interval. The test results show that the above method reduces the average reading error rate approximately by 99.88%.

2011년 7월에 도로명과 건물번호를 사용하는 새로운 주소 체계인 도로명주소가 고지되었다. 본 고에서는 100년 가까이 사용한 지번주소를 대체하기 위한 도로명주소와 관련 사업 등의 추진 동향을 살펴보고, 현재 추진상에서 쟁점이 되는 사항들과 도로명주소 등의 추진에 관련된 기술적인 이슈 및 동향 등에 대해서 살펴보기로 한다. 이를 위해서 기존 주소의 문제점 개선과 국제적인 표준 동향에 따르기 위한 도로명주소의 추진 상황과 국가의 기관별로 구역설정을 공통으로 활용하기 위한 구역번호의 추진 상황을 살펴본다. 도로명주소 추진 상황을 더욱 이해하는 차원에서 최근에 제기되고 있는 건물 단위의 행정구역과의 불일치 문제, 도로명의 표기 문제, 동과 공동주택 명칭 사용 제외 등에 대한 쟁점사항을 소개한다. 그리고 도로명주소와 관련된 기술적 이슈 및 동향들을 GIS 기술과의 결합, 데이터 정제 기술, 상세 주소의 정형화를 통한 데이터 호환, 정보시스템의 구현 및 연계 기술, 국제 표준화를 위한 대응, 우편물류 분야 측면에서 각각 살펴본다.

In this paper, we design Real-Time Postal Logistics Operational Model and System as a to-be system. Current postal logistics information system, named PostNet, is a basic infra system designed for an end-to-end IT-driven process, from mail acceptance to delivery, linked with internal and external systems. Recent competing circumstances drive demand for more intelligent information system. So we design real-time postal logistics operational system focused on site operations. we analyze postal logistics operation and interview field workers and establish real-time postal logistics operational model to solve operational issues. Finally we suggest system specifications.

This study is to investigate the strategy on forming a long term relationship between logistics service provider and demander including maintaining strategy of it. For these purposes, effect on the organization and human factor of Logistics service companies and also, impact on the customer trust and relational commitment against service recovery are analysed. Literature review and empirical study are used to modify research model and to develop questionnaire for logistics service companies. Reliability for measuring procedure yields the same result on repeated trials and validity for identifying the accuracy of the accrual measuring instrument are also used. Suggested hypothesis are verified through multiple regression method and the testing results are shown as follows; First, organization and human factor have a positive effect to the service recovery satisfaction against the service failure of logistics service providing company. Second, the service recovery satisfaction also leads a positive effect on the customer trust and relational commitment.

This paper aims to analyse the relative efficiency of logistics facilities and suggest the policy alternatives for exploring and activating them. This study also divides the logistics facilities into airport terminals, logistics complexes, container terminals, and trucking freight terminals. For this purpose, the CCR-DEA as well as the BCC-DEA techniques are employed to show which part explains the primary cause of inefficiencies of each DMU(Decision Making Unit). The empirical results indicate that the efficiency of logistics complex is the lowest of all, while freight trucking terminal has the highest efficiency. This study also reveals that operation inefficiency is greater than scale inefficiency in most of DMUs, showing that much more effort be done for alleviating the cost resulting from irrational management.
