In order to enhance the aircraft survivability, infrared signatures emitted by engine parts should be diminished. For its reduction it is necessary for the rear fuselage temperature to be decreased. In this study, numerical modeling of flow fields and heat transfer of nozzle is performed and its temperature distribution along each component wall is predicted. The effects of material characteristics and shape of nozzle wall and radiation shield on the heat transfer are also investigated. Through this numerical analysis, design parameters related to the susceptibility of aircraft are examined.
Plato said that our cosmos was created from the union of nous and $anank{\bar{e}}$ in Timaeus. In addition to this, 'the third kind', namely $ch{\bar{o}}ra$, exists already with genesis before the birth of the cosmos. Plato explains this $ch{\bar{o}}ra$ with several metaphors. That is, 'receptacle', 'mother', 'gold', 'space', 'place' etc. From Aristotle to contemporary scholars, generally three types of interpretations are presented. First, $ch{\bar{o}}ra$ is a kind of a 'void.' Secondly, $ch{\bar{o}}ra$ is Aristotle's $prot{\bar{e}}$$hyl{\bar{e}}$. Thirdly, $ch{\bar{o}}ra$ has two aspects of space and matter. I will accept the third opinion. Plato's $ch{\bar{o}}ra$ has both a spatial aspect and material aspect. $Ch{\bar{o}}ra$ is a place that accommodates all sensible things in itself. On the other hand, $ch{\bar{o}}ra$ seems to be a mother who nourishes sensible things like a child. In this, Plato lacks a logical consistency. The research of $ch{\bar{o}}ra$ can not deviate from the limits of $eik{\bar{o}}s$ logos.
Plato learned of teleology from his teacher Socrates and expanded it to its application in cosmology. His cosmological work Timaeus was the final edition of teleological view. The motive that Demiurge created the cosmos was in resemblance of his goodness. He then modeled the idea of the Good imposing limit to the Forms of Good in a material world. In this sense, Demiurge was an excellent creator and created the Good cosmos. The cosmic body was made from four elements (water, fire, air, earth) and the cosmic soul entered the cosmic body and the cosmic intelligence (nous) entered the cosmic soul. According to these steps, this cosmos was created and named a living god. In conclusion, Plato asserts that this cosmos was created by God's teleological project, and resembles the goodness of a god. When man followed the order and balance in the cosmos, the good of the individual and the state would be accomplished.
Plato's Laws, Bk. 10 is made up of cryptically concise expressions and complex arguments, so that it is not simple to understand it. In this essay I would like to make use of Stoic perspective as an interpretative instrument, which would enable me, I hope, to reconstruct the main arguments of the Laws, Bk. 10 into an intelligible form. Through this approach we would have an opportunity to meet with some important philosophical ideas of Plato which did not reveal themselves clearly in other, especially early and middle dialogues. These ideas comprise the inseparability of the soul from the body, the intellectualization of nature, the human being as a part of the cosmos and the extensional overlapping of the moral law and the natural law. And at the same time my study would result in making a suggestion for history of reception. That is, in this paper I will find some grounds in the tenth book of the Laws that would show how great the influence of Plato upon the Stoics was. For we have but little knowledge about the possibility of the power of Plato's influence upon the Stoics, even though the scholarship on the Stoics until now shed some light on the features and range of Aristotle's influence upon them.

The plume infrared signature effects at various flight conditions of aircraft were investigated for the purpose of reducing infrared signature level. The nozzle of a virtual subsonic unmanned combat aerial vehicle was designed through a performance analysis. Nozzle and associated plume flowfields were first analyzed using a density-based CFD code and plume IR signature was then calculated on the basis of the narrow-band model. Finally, qualitative information for the plume infrared signature characteristics was obtained through the analysis of the IR signature effects at various flight conditions.

A computational system to predict flowfield and infrared signature in aircraft exhaust system is developed. As the first step, a virtual mission profile is considered and an engine is selected through a performance analysis. Then a nozzle that meets the requirement of each mission is designed. The internal flow in the exhaustion nozzle at the maximum thrust is analyzed using a state-of-the-art CFD code. In addition, a system to combine information of the skin temperature distribution of the nozzle and after-body surface with an infrared prediction code is developed. Finally, qualitative results for the infrared signature reduction design are obtained by investigating the infrared signature level under various conditions.

The effects of various nozzle configurations on infrared signature are investigated for the purpose of analysing the infrared signature level of aircraft propulsion system. A virtual subsonic aircraft is selected and then a circular convergent nozzle, which meets the mission requirements, is designed. Convergent nozzles of different configurations are designed with different geometric profiles. Using a compressible Navier-Stokes-Fourier CFD code, an analysis of thermal flow field and nozzle surface temperature distribution is conducted. From the information of plume flow field and nozzle surface temperature distribution, IR signature of plume and nozzle surface is calculated through the narrow-band model and the RadThermIR code. Finally, qualitative information for IR signature reduction is obtained through the analysis of the effects of various nozzle configurations on IR signature.
The participation and share between personal users are the driving force of Web 2.0, and easily found in blog, social network, collective intelligence, social bookmarking and tagging. Among those applications, the social bookmarking lets Internet users to store bookmarks online and share them, and provides various services based on shared bookmarks which people think important.Delicious.com is the representative site of social bookmarking services, and provides a bookmark search service by using tags which users attach to the bookmarks. Our paper suggests a method re-ranking the ranks from Delicious.com based on user tags in order to provide personalized bookmark recommendations. Moreover, a method to consider bookmarks which have tags not directly related to the user query keywords is suggested by using tag network based on Jaccard similarity coefficient. The performance of suggested system is verified with experiments that compare the ranks by Delicious.com with new ranks of our system.

Nozzle configurations and atmospheric conditions play a significant role in the infrared signature level of aircraft propulsion system. Various convergent nozzles of an unmanned aircraft under different atmospheric conditions are considered. An analysis of thermal flow field and nozzle surface temperature distribution is conducted using a compressible CFD code. It is shown that the IR level in rear direction is considerably reduced in deformed nozzles, whereas the IR level in adjacent azimuth angles is increased in aspect ratios around 6 due to the plume spreading effect caused by high aspect ratio of nozzles. In addition, an analysis of atmospheric transmissivity for various seasons and observation distance is conducted using the LOWTRAN 7 code and subsequently plume IR signature is calculated by considering atmospheric effects. It is shown that the IR signature is reduced significantly in summer season and near the band of carbon dioxide in case of relatively close distance.
