This research empirically analyzes not only the direct impact of the external technological information network diversity of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) on the sales growth from their technology development but also the mediating impact of their productivity improvement and the moderating effect of the technology development driven by CEO on this direct impact in order to deepen the research stream on SMEs' external technological information network. Based on the ordinary least squares regression by using 2,200 data of South Korean SMEs, this study reveals the three findings. First, SMEs' external technological information network diversity positively influences their sales growth from technology development. Second, SMEs' productivity improvement partially mediates this positive influence of the external technological information network diversity. Third, SMEs' technology development driven by CEO moderates the positive influence.

Good product quality is so essential to enabling firms to succeed that how to make the product quality better through technology development is one of the most important issues that many CEOs think over. With regard to the product quality improvement from firms' technology development, this study has made an attempt to empirically investigate the effect of the external information network diversity on the product quality improvement of the small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the information technology (IT) sector, mediated by their production process improvement. This research illuminates the following two points by empirically analyzing the 310 IT SMEs through the ordinary least squares regression analysis. First, IT SMEs' external information network diversity has a positive influence on their product quality improvement from technology development. Second, IT SMEs' production process improvement partially mediates the impact of their external information network diversity on the product quality improvement.

The business environment changing very fast with technology advance and convergence makes the role of R&D become more and more important to firms' success. By analyzing the 683 firm-level data of small and medium venture firms with the ordinary least squares regression, this study sheds new light on the following four points. First, small and medium venture firms' exterior R&D collaboration network heterogeneity positively impacts their import substitution from technology development. Second, the existence of the corporate R&D center moderates the positive impact of small and venture firms' exterior R&D collaboration network heterogeneity on their import substitution from technology development. Third, small and venture firms' exterior R&D information network heterogeneity positively impacts their import substitution from technology development. Fourth, The existence of the corporate R&D center moderates the positive influence of small and venture firms' exterior R&D information network heterogeneity on their import substitution from technology development.

Enterprises' new technology development capability is essential for creating successful product innovation and process innovation in the heavy competition in the business context changing quickly with technology convergence and development. Based on the open innovation perspective, this research develops a research model about the direct effect of small and medium venture companies' exterior information network heterogeneity on their new technology development capability and the mediating impact of their product planning capability on this direct effect. This study statistically tests the research model by using the ordinary least squares regression with the 683 small and medium venture companies, providing two major findings as follows. One finding is that small and medium venture companies' exterior information network heterogeneity positively impacts their new technology development capability. The other finding is that small and medium venture companies' product planning capability perfectly mediates the positive effect of their exterior information network heterogeneity on their new technology development capability.

As the environmental pollution and the global warming have become more and more serious, the green management has been growing more and more critical to small and medium enterprises. In order to explore factors positively influencing small and medium enterprises' green management performance, this study presents the two major implications through the ordinary least squares regression based on the 2,200 data from the small and medium enterprises in the Republic of Korea. First, small and medium enterprises' external technology R&D information network diversity positively influences their green management performance from technology R&D. Second, small and medium enterprises' production process improvement is a partial mediator between their external technology R&D information network diversity and green management performance from technology R&D.

본 논문에서는 PDA(Personal Digital Assistants)을 이용하여 보안성 있는 흠 네트워크 가전 단말기 제어 시스템을 개발한다. PDA와 같은 이동 단말기가 발달함에 따라 외부 네트워크에서 흠 네트워크에 접속하여 가전 장비들을 제어하는 연구가 매우 중요하다. 그러나 방화벽만으로 홈 네트워크의 장비를 안전하게 제어하기에는 많은 문제점을 지니고 있다. 본 논문에서는 외부네트워크에서 흠 네트워크로의 안전한 접근 및 제어를 위한 가상 사설망(Virtual Private Network)을 흠 네트워크 제어 시스템에 적용하는 방법을 제시한다. 또한 다양한 흠 네트워크 단말기에 적용 할 수 있고 홈 네트워크간의 호환성을 높이기 위해서 OSGi(Open Service Gateway Initiative)프레임워크를 사용한다.

인터넷 기반의 산업들이 발전하고, 이를 사용하는 사용자들이 점점늘어나고, 네트워크상에서 전송되는 정보가 일반문자 데이터에서 영상이나 음성과 같은 멀티미디어 데이터까지 확장되면서 점점 더 많은 정보를 요구하게 되고, 네트워크의 대역폭에 대한 부족함을 느끼게 되었다. 따라서, 점점 더 많은 대역폭을, 여러 사람들이 공유하면서 사용할 수 있는 환경에 대한 요구가 증대되었으며, 그 결과의 하나로 국내에서는 전 국가적인 사업으로 초고속 정보 통신망을 구축하기에 이르렀다. 전문가들은 네트워크와는 별도로 정보통신 및 정보 가전기기 분야에서, 기술의 급속한 발전으로, 상호호환성을 가지면서, 쉽게 다양한 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 집안에서의 네크워크, 소위 홈 네트워킹에 관심을 가지게 되었고, 가까운 시일내에 가정내의 모든 기기 들과, 집 외부의 네트워크간에 연결이 가능해질 것으로 보인다.

휴대전화, PC, 브로드밴드(ADSL, FTTH) 등 가정 내에서의 IT기기 및 네트워크의 보급이 급속하게 진전되고 있다. TV와 에어콘 등 가전제품의 IT화가 진행되어 가정 내에서 네트워크를 형성함은 물론 외부 네트워크에 상시 접속되는 세계가 실현되어 가고 있다. 네트워크 접속에 대응하는 네트가전이 보급되면 가전기기 간의 연대 및 외부와의 정보통신에 의해 가전제품의 기능과 성능을 최대한으로 발휘할 수 있게 되어 생활환경, 편리성이 크게 향상됨과 아울러 성(省)에너지화에도 큰 효과를 나타낸다. 네트가전은 TV, VTR, DVD등의 AV계(系), 냉장고와 세탁기 등의 기기계, 태양광발전시스템과 전기온수기 등의 설비계로 분류된다. AV계에서는 디지털정보의 다운로드와 기억에 의해 다양한 고품질의 영상음향에 둘러싸인 세계가 탄생하게 된다 기계계의 네트가전에서는 홈서버 경유로 외출 장소에서 기기의 상태를 파악하여 제어하는 것이 가능해진다. 설비계에서는 설비 간의 연대에 따라 에너지절약 운전과 최대전력량의 제어에 의한 코스트절약이 실현된다. 네트가전을 이용한 홈네트워크 실현을 위해서는 고객이 쉽게 다를 수 있으며 만족할 수 있는 기능과 서비스, 성(省)배전$\cdot$저(低)코스트의 네트워크, 기기가 외부에서 간단히 제어될 수 있는 고신뢰성 인터페이스의 실장(實裝)과 표준화, 디지털 컨텐츠의 유통을 촉진하기 위한 컨텐츠 권리보호제도 정비가 필요하게 된다. 미쓰비시전기는 ''언제나, 어디에나, 누구에게도'' 가전제품을 편리하게 사용될 수 있는 유비쿼터스 사회를 실현하기 위하여 AV, 설비$\cdot$기기, 컴퓨터의 모든 분야에 대응한 가전기기, 네트워크 관련기기의 개발을 진행해 나감은 물론 주택을 이용한 실증시험을 실시하여 소비자 메리트의 본질적인 추구를 위해 계속 추진해 나가고 있다.

In ubiquitous environment, a user has been provided with service and mobility using various devices. The users' network can be divided into a home network (a user belongs to the network through an authentication server) and an external network (when a user moves or external authentication server is). Users can use a mobile device or a device at an external network. In this paper, when a user has access to a service in an external network with a mobile device, there is a skim that a service is securely provided by roaming private information (encryption key etc${\cdots}$) and a skim which gives access to a home network using a device in an external network. If you use these skims, roaming is provided in order that you can use a secure service in an external network.

차세대 인터넷 사용자들을 위해서는 이동하면서 연속적으로 인터넷에 접속하고 통신할 수 있도록 지원하는 것이 필수적이다. 현재까지 Mobile IT를 기점으로 다양한 네트워크 계층에서의 이동성 지원 프로토콜들이 제안되어 왔다. 그런데 최근에는 네트워크 계층에서의 이동성 지원과는 전혀 다른 접근 방식으로서, 트랜스포트 계층에서 이동성을 지원하는 방안이 언급되고 있다. 트랜스포트 계층에서의 이동성 지원은 기존 네트워크 계층에서의 이동성 지원 방안처럼 코어 네트워크에 홈 에이전트나 외부 에이전트와 같은 특별한 엔터티들의 추가를 요구하지 않기 때문에 디플로이가 상대적으로 용이하며, 종단 간 이동성을 지원할 수 있기 때문에 네트워크 계층에서의 이동성 지원 방안에서 발생하는 터널링 오버헤드나 비효율적인 라우팅 문제를 피할 수 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 차세대 인터넷 환경인 IPv6 네트워크에서 WLAN 기반의 트랜스포트 계층 이동성 지원 방안을 제안한다 시뮬레이션을 통하여 제안하는 방안이 네트워크 계층에서의 이동성 지원과 대등한 성능을 보임을 확인하였고, 특히 이동 노드의 속도가 빠를 때 새로운 네트워크에서의 IT 주소 획득 시간이 길 때, 네트워크 계층에서의 이동성 지원 방안보다 더 좋은 성능을 제공함을 볼 수 있었다.
