A Study on the Service Innovation using SNS (SNS를 이용한 서비스 혁신 방법에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, we use the data collected from Twitter, as an SNS(Social Networking Service), for service innovation. This data was collected and processed by Flume. The data set in May 2016 was 4,766 and 15,543 from company S and company X, respectively. We were able to figure out the emotional atmosphere of the two companies through the sentiment analysis(SA) and to find out about the vertical relationship through the bibliometric analysis(BA). Furthermore, we were able to grasp the horizontal relationship through the social network analysis(SNA). It was concluded that SNS was worth while to derive an innovative item.

  • Wireless Internet, created through the merging of mobile communication with Internet technology, provides the advantage of mobility, but the restrictions of the mobile environment are deterring it from growing into a mass public service. Of the restricting factors of the wireless environment, narrow memory space creates the disadvantage of not being able to manage resources in mobile devices efficiently Because there is a limit to obtaining sufficient memory space from hardware made with consideration of portability, future devices will need to have a platform design with storage area extended from internal storage to external storage space. In this paper, we present a mobile agent that extends the memory space from only the inside of a mobile device to an external server making it possible to use data by on-line Run-time, and can also manage internal files efficiently. We have designed and implemented a RMS(Resources Management System) as a realization. Devices using the proposed RMS will be able to apply extended processes with the 'Mobile Space Extension' and will be benefited with optimal memory space through efficient internal file management.

  • 본 논문에서는 교무업무지원시스템의 하나인 WDCMS(웹기반데이터취합관리시스템)를 학교현장에 실제로 적용시켜 봄으로써, ICT(정보통신기술) 기반으로 일하는 방식을 개선하고 일상적으로 반복되고 중복되는 업무에서 탈피하고 지금까지 모든 내ㆍ외부 문서처리(공문, 비 공문서)의 수작업과 결재과정의 시간과 인적자원의 낭비를 개선함은 물론 업무의 정확성 및 효율성을 높여 신속한 업무처리로 교원의 업무 경감과 교사의 주된 업무인 교수 ㆍ학습활동에 전념 할 수 있도록 교육 여건을 개선하고, 나아가 교육 정보 자료의 효과적인 관리 및 활용으로 경쟁력 있는 선진교육 환경을 구축하고자 한다.

The Case Study on the Success Factors of Korean Car Sharing Business (한국 차량공유사업의 성공요인 사례분석)

  • This study analyzed key success factors of Korean car-sharing enterprises, Socar and Greencar, and the responsive strategies of Korean car-manufacturing company, Hyundai Motor Group, in the face of emerging sharing economy under the specific economic and regulatory system in Korea. The outcomes of the analysis are as follows. 'Timely market entry' in early startup phase and 'use of external resources' in early growth phase were key success factors common to both Socar and Greencar. However, the differences in the eventual business directions of the two companies also resulted in different key success factors in the expansion phase of their business. For Socar which focused on maintaining its independence and the external growth of B2C business, customer relation marketing and sufficient capital raising were key success factors. For Greencar which became a part of a business group and focused on improving the efficiency of business operations, timely market entry (B2B market) was key success factor. The use of external resources and cooperation with large corporations emerged as key success factors common to both companies in the rapid growth phase. The responsive strategies of the Hyundai Motor Group were collaboration, investment and direct management of DeliveryCar. The short-term goal of the responsive strategy was the operation of test-bed in collaboration with car-sharing company while the mid/long term goal was planning new mobility services by utilizing collected data. Securing opportunities for early market dominance for autonomous car industry was also found to be an important goal.

  • Energy consumption per unit weight of metal (kwh/kg of metal) is one of the most important economic indicators in the process of molten salt electrolysis. It is related to the heat loss of salt bath and the current efficiency of the process. The current efficiency is highly dependent on electrolysis temperature. On the other hand, the temperature of salt bath may increase significantly due to the difference (larger energy input than consumption) in heat balance at the beginning of electrolysis, which may cause different electrolysis temperature from an initially targeted value. This results in a bad effect on current efficiency. Therefore, it will be helpful to the reduction of energy consumption to compare the calculated and measured values of the temperature change of salt bath through the heat balance review at the early stage of electrolysis and to evaluate the energy loss to outside. In this study, based on the authors' experimental data, the heat balance was reviewed at the beginning of the electrolysis, and it was possible to evaluate the energy loss to the outside and the increase of the temperature of the salt bath quantitatively. Through such a method, heat loss reduction plan can be derived and current efficiency can be improved so that energy consumption can be reduced.

  • Volunteer Computing 환경에서 프로젝트 서버가 클라이언트들의 유휴 컴퓨팅 자원을 효율적으로 활용하기 위한 연구는 활발하게 진행되었으나, 프로젝트 서버로부터 받아온 외부작업과 클라이언트의 고유작업 사이에서 발생하는 성능간섭을 최소화시키기 위한 연구는 미비하다. 본 논문은 대표적인 Volunteer Computing 플랫폼인 BOINC 환경에서 외부작업이 클라이언트의 고유작업에 미치는 성능간섭을 확인하기 위한 다양한 실험을 수행하였으며, 그 원인에 대한 분석을 제시하였다. 실험 결과 고유작업의 쓰레드 수가 증가하거나 전체 연산에서 I/O 작업의 비중이 높을수록 성능간섭이 늘어나는 사실을 확인하였다. 이러한 연구의 결과는 사용자가 Volunteer Computing 어플리케이션을 운영할 시 고유작업의 특징을 고려하여 성능간섭을 최소화 하는 옵션을 설정하는 목적에 활용될 것으로 기대된다.

The Impact of Entrepreneurial Orientation and External Oriented Organizational Culture on the Korean Manufacturing SMEs' Performance: Focusing on the Mediation Effect of Open Innovation (기업가 지향성과 개방적 조직문화가 기업성과에 미치는 영향: 개방형 혁신의 매개효과를 중심으로)

  • This study examines the effects of entrepreneurial orientation and external oriented organizational culture on the firm perfornamance focusing on mediating effects of open innovation. The survey was conducted on Korean manufacturing firms with 100-5,000 employees among listed companies and external auditing companies. The validity of the research model and hypotheses was verified through analysis of structural equation model for 283 valid responses. Empirical results show that entrepreneurial orientation positively affects both open innovation and firm's performance. The external oriented organizational culture of firms appears to be positive effects on open innovation, but the effect between the external oriented organizational culture and firm's performance shows no statistical significance. Open innovation have positive effects on firm performance. In addition, a test for mediation effects of open innovation reveals that a full mediation exists between the external oriented organizational culture and firm's performance, while there is a partial mediation effect between entrepreneurial orientation and firm's performance. This study contribute to the literature by deepening understanding on the open innovation. We propose an integrated model for examining antecedent factors, open innovation and performance.

A Study on the Communication Strategy and Message for Geo-Technology Commercialization (지질자원 기술의 상업화 커뮤니케이션 전략 및 메시지 연구)

  • This study examines the communication status and strategies of geological resource related companies in Korea through the comparison with American companies. Through this analysis, this study is to draw the domestic companies' characteristics and problems on communication, and even to suggest how to execute the communication about geo-technologies at national level. The results indicate that geo-technologies related compaies in Korea don't use a lot of advertising communication as means of providing informations about corporate itself, corporate activities, and it's product, etc. And the companies using advertising communication tend to execute more organization advertising focusing on corporate image than product advertising. The advertising utilized by geological resource related companies is usually targeted at consumers, they don't use advertising endorser actively. And all the companies analyzed in this study have their own website and run it. This study provides some recommendations on communication strategies and executions for various geo-technologies related organizations.   • 본고에서는 비/저활용(57-66GHz) 대역에 대한 새로운 주파수 자원을 개척하여 HDTV급 신호를 케이블 및 위성방송 셋톱박스, 게임콘솔, DVD플레이어, 캠코더 및 이동식 멀티미디어 장비와 무선으로 연결시키는 전송 기술 개발을 위하여 Intel, Philips, Motorola, IBM, SiBeam, Panasonic, Sony등 세계적인 기업들이 국제 표준화(IEEE802.15, ETSI/BRAN, ECMA International) 공동 협력 및 기술 개발 경쟁을 벌이고 있는 상황이다. 본 표준기술은 국내 기업이 세계 시장을 장악하고 있는 LCD, PDP 및 차세대 DVD플레이어 등에 적용될 Wireless HD-SDI(High Definition Serial Data Interface)/ DVI(Digital Visual Interface)와, 외장 하드 디스크, 메모리 등 외부 기억 장치와의 자원 공유에 사용될 Muti-Gbps급 Wireless LAN, Wireless PAN, Wireless SAN(System Area Network) 등에 적용될 무선 전송 기술이다. 비/저활용 $59{\sim}66GHz$ 대역에 대한 국제 표준화로 IEEE802.15.3c를 중심으로 활발히 일어나고 있는 표준기술과 표준화 동향을 살펴본다.

Relationship Analysis among Entrepreneurship, Innovation Capability, External Cooperation, and Technological Innovation Performance for Venture Companies (기업가정신, 혁신역량 및 외부협력이 벤처기업의 기술혁신 성과에 미치는 영향)

  • Open innovation is known to have a significant impact on the performance of enterprise innovation. The role of open innovation is more critical due to small scale and limitation on the available resources for the venture company. This study focused on the relationship among Entrepreneurship(ENT), Innovation Capability(IC), and External Cooperation(EC), which affect Technological Innovation Performance(TIP) to maximize TIP. Empirical study was proceeded to analyze the relationships among ENT, IC, EC, and TIP for venture companies in Busan. ENT was verified to have a positive impact on IC, EC, and TIP. IC was done on EC and TIP. EC was done on TIP. Each of IC and EC showed positive mediating role in the relationship between ENT and TIP. Finally, IC and EC together performed positive mediating role in the relationship between ENT and TIC.
