There have been many critical point of view on the Korean industrial relations arguing that its conflictual nature and combative unions, and too much protective labor laws make the foreign investors to avoid Korea as an investment location. This argument has been raised since IMF' financial bail-out when Korea needed badly foreign FDI. Since then, however, any significant improvement in industrial relations field has not been made. In this kind of dead-lock situation, the Ireland' success story give us an important lesson, in which the strong economic growth had been made through the massive FDI, stimulated by the social partnership between government, unions and employers. Our study has an aim to examine the several success factors for Ireland's economic success, and to take a deep look into the context and characteristics of the Ireland' social partnership, and its outcome. We also try to draw some lessons to Korean economy, in particular, in its economic policy and industrial relations.

In the domestic stock market, the capital market opened in January 1992, and the proportion of foreign capital has steadily increased, accounting for 30% of the domestic market in Overall stock market trend infers that the domestic stock market is more influenced by foreign issues than domestic issues. The trading trend of foreign capital displays a similar flow to exchange rate fluctuations,; thus, preparing an investment strategy by using the Pearson analyzing method the effect of exchange rates of foreign capital trading, fluctuations in exchange rates, and predicting one of the macroeconomic indicators will yield high returns in the stock market. Therefore, this research was conducted to help investment by predicting foreign variables comparing and analyzing exchange rates and foreign capital trading patterns, and predicting appropriate time for buying and selling.

The purpose of this study is to find out Acculturation Stress that impact on job satisfaction focus on foreign cabin crew working in korea airline. the analysis showed the statistically significant meaning nationality had influence on acculturation stress. while working years had not influence on acculturation stress. also nationality and working years had not influence on job satisfaction In addition, acculturation stress had a negative influence on job satisfaction. Based on this study results, it required alternatives for job stress reducing as well as job accomplishment. and it is highly considered nationality differences and we should concentrate on effective system.

This study focuses on finding out the determinants of relational quality between the supplier and the retailer in the Chinese cosmetics market. A total of 72 questionnaires were collected by surveying beauty shops which mainly do business with the foreign cosmetics suppliers in Shanghai area. The findings support the premise that a retailer's trust in a supplier is positively related to the retailer's commitment. Supplier's ability, guanxi and cultural sensitivity have positive impacts on trust. Formalization and cultural sensitivity affect commitment positively. But the formalization is not significantly related to the retailer's trust. The guanxi is not found to be significantly related to the retailer's commitment yet. Finally, the authors discuss some theoretical contributions, managerial implications. And then, they present limitations of this study and the future research directions.

Pakistan is a South Asian auspicious developing country. Based on the corruption perception index report 2020 by transparency international, Pakistan has ranked 124 with total scores of 31 globally and 188 ranks with a score of -2.25 in terms of political stability ranging from 0 (lowest) to 100 (highest). More crucially, the inflow of foreign direct investment toward Pakistan has declined between 2008 and 2019. Though political instability and government corruption have both positive and negative linear relationships with foreign direct investment, we tested the moderating impact of government corruption between political instability and inward foreign direct investment over time. We also tested the relationship between political instability and inward foreign direct investment in different phases of political regimes in the same country. Our results suggested that authoritarian regimes attracted more inward foreign direct investment than that during democratic periods of government. Furthermore, we found that there was low inward foreign direct investment when government corruption was high in the country. However, government corruption weakened the positive relationship between political instability and inward foreign direct investment (FDI).

In this study, we examined whether cultural stress, self-efficacy, and career-preparation behavior differed depending on the general characteristics of foreign students, and whether cultural adaptation stress and self-efficacy affect career-preparation behavior. To this end, a survey of 231 foreign students was conducted and data was analyzed using the IBM SPSS v23 statistics program. According to the study, cultural adaptation stress and self-efficacy differed depending on the general characteristics of foreign students. And cultural adaptation stress and self-efficacy have been shown to affect career-preparation behavior. Therefore, it was suggested that the government needs to develop curriculums, comparisons and programs for foreign students to help them exchange culture and adapt their studies, and that it is necessary to have professional counseling staff residing in universities to conduct career and academic counseling.

13억의 인구와 370만 평방마일의 영토를 가진 중국은 공산주의 경제체제에서 자본주의 경제체제를 도입하여 시장개방, 자유경쟁 경제방식으로 전환함에 따라서 급격한 경제성장을 이루어 국제통화기금(IMF)의 1993년 보고에 의하여 국내총생산액(GDP)가 1조 6천억$로 미국, 일본에 이어 세계 3위의 경제 성장을 이루어 경제강대국으로 부상하고 있고 아울러, 무한히 넓은 땅덩어리와 천연 및 인적자원을 기초로 한 앞으로의 성장잠재력이 크게 기대되어 미국, 일본을 비롯한 선진국이 중국에 대한 투자를 다방면으로 검토하기 시작했고 생명공학분야도 예외없이, 연구분야에는 포장시험, 임상시험 등 실용화 연구에 중국측 강점을 이용한 협동연구, 중국정부 자체가 상업화 가능성이 높다고 판단하는 Torch High Technology Development Center에의 외국기업이나 연구소의 참여 등으로 확대되고 있다. 산업계는 벤쳐 케피탈의 활성화를 통한 첨단기술에 대한 투자를 적극적으로 실시하는 한편, 제약 및 생명공학분야의 합작투자를 통해서 외국의 기술, 장비, 자본 및 노하우를 도입하고 있다. 우리나라는 여러 산업 분야에서 대중국 투자 또는 협력이 활발히 이루어지고 있지만, 생명공학 분야는 그렇지 못한 것 같다. 연구개발의 국제경쟁력은 우리나라의 자체 연구개발도 중요하지만, 아울러, 외국에 대한 연구 동향을 파악함과 가능한 분야에 대한 투자와 협력을 통한 공동관심과제의 도출은 중요한 의미를 갖는다.

본 연구는 국내로의 혼인이주와 그 가정에 대한 연구로 국내로의 혼인이주의 추이와 현황을 살펴 본 후, 혼인이주자의 특성 및 혼인이주 가정의 문제와 대응방식을 분석하였다. 본 연구는 다양한 자료를 활용하였는데, 우선 통계청과 법무부의 나료와 그간 국내 선행연구의 2차 자료를 활용하였다. 그리고 본인에 의해 수행된 2004년 7월 국제결혼중매업체에 대한 인터넷조사와 2004년 3월부터 12월 사이에 수집된 서비스부문 이주여성 인터뷰 자료를 이용하였다. 이 연구의 주요 발견은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 1990년대 이후 우리 국민의 혼인이주보다 외국인의 국내로의 혼인이주가 증가하였고, 특히 중국교포를 위시한 외국인 여성의 혼인이주가 증가하였다. 둘째, 외국인 여성의 혼인이주는 90년대 초반에는 농촌 노총각의 배우자로 90년대 중반이후에는 도시 재혼자의 배우자로 선호되었다. 그리고 지방에서는 통일교를 통한 혼인이주가 많으며, 수도권에서는 국내입국을 위한 위장결혼도 많은 편이다. 셋째, 혼인이주 가정의 문제로는 가정경제의 어려움, 부부관계의 계급화, 그리고 서로 다른 기대차이를 살펴보았다. 넷째, 다른 외국인 주부에 비하여 중국교포 혼인이주 여성들은 국내에서 일자리를 쉽게 찾을 수 있으므로 가출이 더 용이하였다. 마지막으로 본 연구는 중국교포 여성의 혼인이주는 국가간의 노동이동의 범주로 파악될 수 있음을 지적하였다.

Recently, police agency and social scientists' interest in the criminal profiling is increasing. Since serial killings had sharply increased during 1960s in U.S. the American law enforcement agency were pushed to solve those criminal incidents. Therefore, they drew various investigative techniques. But there are no study for the criminal profiling of arsonists. So, this paper reviewed prior studies on the arsonist's type and suggested how to apply this kind of basic information for investigating arson cases in Korea.
