In most developed countries, Extreme heat alter system operates every summer and the response plan to be issued according to this system is composed of some government agencies sub-plans. The National Emergency Management Agency in Korea develops response plan but it is not composed of the definition of the heat vulnerability and the concrete agency roles. Therefore, this study analyses foreign cases in three processing: preparedness, response, recovery and reviews the status of heat response plan. As a conclusion, the study suggests two ways of Extreme heat management into Korean heat response plan such as strengthening its institutional position and complementing its context.

The purpose of this case study is to examine and compare the basic characteristics of quality assurance systems of the 3 leading countries in international higher education: Australia, Canada, and the Netherlands. The comparative analysis of the three cases demonstrates that, taking a more commercial stance on the international education service market, quality assurance systems of the 3 countries aim at facilitating effective promotion of student recruitment and enhancing their national brand image as advanced knowledge society. Consequently, rules and regulations of their systems are concerned primarily with strengthening institutional capacities to educate international students effectively, and, ultimately, improving their learning experiences in the host countries. Compared to these foreign cases, the newly-adopted quality assurance system in Korea places too much emphasis on internationalization process itself, thereby neglecting evaluation of educational capabilities of higher education institutions. Further implications for improvement of the Korean International Education Quality Assurance System(IEQAS) are discussed.

국내 LPG산업은 지난 30년 동안 경제개발에 따른 국민소득 증가와 사용의 편리성 및 친화성으로 연평균 20% 이상의 폭발적 수요 신장세를 보여 왔으나 90년 이후 LNG(도시가스)의 보급확대로 성장률 둔화 및 침체 국면에 접어들고 있다. 이러한 어려움을 이겨내기 위해 지난해말 전업계가 공동 참여한 가운데 국내 LPG산업 유통구조 개편방안 연구가 시작됐고 여기서 다양한 방안들이 제시됐다. 이와 함께 서유럽을 비롯해 북미, 일본, 기타 여러나라의 LPG산업 유통구조 사례분석을 통해 국내 유통구조와의 차이점도 조멸했다. 외국의 LPG산업 유통구조를 게재한다.

부산해역은 부산북항과 부산신항 해상교통관제 구역으로 구분되어 있다. 이 부산해역 관제구역의 설정은 해상교통흐름에 기초하여 해양사고 위치 등 여러 가지 고려 요소에 의하여 설정되는 것이 바람직하다. 이 연구에서는 부산해역 관제구역내의 해상교통흐름, 해양사고분석, 위험도 분석, 외국관제구역 사례 조사 등을 기반으로 하여 부산해역 관제구역의 적합성을 검토하여야 하는 당위성을 제시하였다.

미국 뉴포트의 주택들은 20세기를 전후로 하는 시기에 당시 최상류층의 휴양용 저택들로서, 미국의 절충주의 건축을 대표할 수 있는 특징을 갖고 있는 주택들이다. 본 연구에서는 미국에서 유럽의 건축적 전통과 영향을 절충주의적 철학에 따라 자신들의 형식으로 완성한 양식상의 전개를 살펴보고자 한다. 단순히 외국의 건축으로서 보다는 전통적 건축보다 외국의 영향에 의한 근대건축 문화를 이룩한, 우리나라의 건축 양식적 문제를 상호 비교하여 살펴보는 한 사례가 될 수 있을 것으로 본다.

최근 국내외 여러 사건들로 인하여 VTS의 중요성이 대두되고 있는 바, 보다 더 안전한 해상 환경을 조성하기 위해서는 VTS 여러 부분의 개선과 발전이 필요하다. 여기서는 VTS의 발전을 위해서 필수적으로 요구되는 비용에 관한 부분을 해결하고자, VTS 사용료 제도에 관한 다른 비슷한 성격의 항만 요금과 외국의 VTS Fee 사례에 대하여 검토하고 비교해보고자 하였다. VTS 사용료로 인하여 여러 가지 기술적 개발을 이루어 원활하고 효율적인 VTS 관제가 이루어질 수 있도록 모색하고자 한다.

본 연구에서는 국내외 이동전화 단말기의 판매·가격보조금에 대한 실태를 조사하고 외국 사례와의 비교를 통해 이동전화 사업자가 취할 수 있는 실현 가능하고 건전한 정책을 제시하였다. 또한 이동전화 대리점과 단말기 유통구조에 관한 이해가 필요하여 조사되었으며, 각 회사별 가입자수와 매출액 및 단말기 보조금 규모는 중요한 자료이므로, 이의 분석을 통하여 바람직한 단말기 가격보조정책을 제시하였다. 이동전화 사업자간 과당경쟁이 과도한 단말기 판매보조금의 원인이며, 누적 판매보조금은 사업자에게 적자 요인이 되었다. 따라서 본 연구의 목적과 중요성을 적정보조금을 산출하는 것이다. 국내외 주요 이동전화 사업자들에 대한 가입자당 월평균수익(ARPU) 및 단말기 보조금 규모의 파악과 함께 단말기 보조금 회수에 걸리는 기간의 산촐을 통해 적정한 단말기 보조금 액수를 제시하였다.

This qualitative case study focused on the activation plan of flexible work arrangements. We selected eight workers from a foreign affiliated firm that has various flexible work arrangements for in-depth interview and focus group interview. The workers were categorized into two groups; those who have experiences with flexible working and those who have needs for flexible working. We analyzed their condition of work-family life and experiences with flexible working. Through the focus group interview, we can find out the needs and suggestions about activation plans of flexible work arrangements.

본 고에서는 지하 대수층 생태계 및 그에 대한 외국의 연구사례를 개괄하여 소개하고, 지속가능한 지하수 개발에 있어서 대수층 생물이 갖는 의미에 대하여 고찰하였다. 아울러 국내에서 발견된 대수층 생물을 소개하고 향후 연구방향을 설정하였다. 지하 대수층은 다양한 생물로 구성된 독특한 생태계를 가지고 있다. 생물학적 평형상태를 유지하는 경우 이 생태계는 대수층이 장기간 양호한 수질을 유지할 수 있는 기능을 가진다. Parabathynellidae, Parastenocaris 및 선충류의 발견을 통해서 고령군 다산면 대수층이 지하수 생태계 연구를 위한 적합한 대상임이 확인되었다. 향후 연구방향으로서 1) 지하수 동물상 조사, 2) 생태계 구성원에 대한 Autecology 및 Synecology적 접근, 3) Bioremediation 및 Bioindicator 관련 연구 등이 제시되었다.

최근 국내의 경우 FDS를 이용한 성능설계, 화재영향평가 및 피난안전성평가와 더불어 화재조사분야에 이르기까지 다양한 분야에서 활발하게 사용되고 있는 반면 FDS의 소스코드의 분석 및 검증등과 관련한 연구는 매우 미비하며 그결과 또한 구체적인 문제점제시보다는 FDS를 활용하여 실험결과와를 대비하는 수준에 머물러 있는 상황이다. 따라서 본연구는 FDS의 검증을 위한 외국사례를 조사분석하여 향후 국내에서 FDS의 활용시에 대한 주의점 및 향후 한국에서의 활용을 위한 개선방안을 도출한 것이다.
