1990년 후반기에 금융시장의 두드러진 특징중의 하나의 금융의 증권화 현상일 것이다 다른 금융시장에 비해 급속한 성장을 하고 있는 곳이 주식시장이다(민상기, 1998). 이런 주식시장에서 각각의 투자자는 투자기업의 선정을 위해 기업분석과 구가의 예측을 위해 각종 변수에 대한 정보를 수집하여 이를 분석하게 된다 주식시장에 참여하는 투자자는 크게 나누어 보아 전문가로 편성된 기관투자자와 외국인 투자자 그리고 개인 투자자로 나누어 볼 수 있을 것이다 이건 투자자중에서 개인 투자자들은 기관투자자나 외국인 투자 전문회사와 비교해서 열악한 정보수집력과 분석력을 가지고 있다. 그 결과 투자수익률에서도 기환 투자자와 외국인 투자자에 비해 저조하게 나타난다. 국가기간전산망사업의 일환으로 추진되고 있는 금융전산망사업은 금융기관의 급속한 전산화를 가져와 국민편의 확대는 물론 국제경쟁력 확보, 지급결제업무의 개선, 정책수립자료의 신속한 제공 등 많은 가시적 성과를 거두어 왔다. 이러한 금융전산망 사업은 그러나 은행.증권.보험.투자금융 등 각 업계별 전산화 뿐만 아니라 이들 전 금융기관이 공동참여하는 단일 전산망 구축문제, 그리고 외국은행 국내지점의 금융기관공동 전산망 가입 압력 등 대내외적으로 풀어나가야 할 산적한 많은 과제들을 안고 있다. 이에 본지는 대 국민 인식제고를 위해 금융전산망사업중 주도적으로 추진되고 있는 은행공동전산망의 종류와 내용, 추진현황, 향후전망과 과제 등을 알아본다.

This paper purposes to suggest information strategy of banking industry to cope with recent revolutional changes in financial environment. 증권시장 유동성 문제에 대해서는 학계뿐만 아니라, 투자자, 감독기관 및 시장관계자들의 관심도 크다. 최근의 금융 위기는 금융시장의 유동성이 급격히 감소할 경우 경제적으로 막대한 비용을 치르게 될 수 있음을 일깨워주고 있다. 국내에서도 증권시장의 유동성에 관한 연구는 발표되고 있으나 외국인 투자 행태가 증권시장 유동성에 큰 영향을 미칠 것임을 널리 인식하고 있음에도 불구하고 외국인 투자자와 우리나라 증권시장의 유동성에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지에 대한 체계적인 연구는 드문 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 유동성 개념에 내포된 시장의 깊이(depth), 시장의 폭(breadth), 가격탄력성(resiliency) 등을 반영하는 다양한 유동성 지표를 설정하고 Panel-VAR 모형에 근거한 충격반응함수를 이용하여 외국인투자행태가 이들 지표에 미치는 영향의 동학적 특성을 분석하였다. 실증분석 결과에 의하면 외국인투자 증가는 주식시장 유동성에 영향을 미치고 있음을 외국인 투자 비중이 높은 주식들 그룹과 이와 유사한 특성을 가진 주식들 그룹의 비교를 통해서 확인할 수 있었다.

In this paper we examines the relation between net purchase of foreign and institution investors and stock returns in Korean stock market. For this study, KOSPI returns are classified into three parts: close to close, close to open and open to close returns. Close to close returns is measured by the closing price of t-1 day and the closing price of t day. Close to open returns is measured by the closing price of t-1 day and the opening price of t day. Open to close returns is measured by the opening price of t day and the closing price of the day. Empirically major findings are as follows. First, the previous day both foreign and institution investors' behavior have an statistically significant negative effect on the close to close returns. However, the current day their behavior positively affect close to close returns. Second, the previous day both foreign and institution investors' net purchase have a significantly positive effect on the open to close returns. Finally, the previous day foreign behavior has little effect on open to close returns, but institution investors negatively affect open to close.

Because financial industry is closely related to the daily lives of people, internal fraud such as embezzlement by the employees can cause serious damage to the national economy, including credit crunch and contagious bankruptcy, as once demonstrated in the Savings Bank Scandal in 2011. Therefore, the importance of financial industry security is being emphasized and developed into converged security that combines physical, human and cyber security. In this study, to prevent fraud caused by internal employees in Korean financial sector, in-depth semi-structured interviews were conducted with a total of 16 participants including bankers, officials of financial regulators, and security experts, who were in charge of risk management in the industry. The collected data were analyzed at three stratification levels such as individual, organization, and socio-cultural factor. Based on this analysis, policy recommendations were suggested for the development of financial industry security and reducing internal fraud in banking institutions.

After examining the current situations of financial frauds and the reasons for their occurrence in the financial institutions through examples of financial frauds in domestic and abroad, this study presents ways to prevent such financial scams. The preventive measures consist of activities before and after the occurrence of financial frauds and during normal financial operations. The activities are as follows: 1. Preventive activity should be strengthened before the occurrence of financial frauds. That is, first, the enforcement of consistent internal control is needed. Second, in order to block the probability of financial frauds involved with employees, ethics education and a reward program for inside tippers need to be run. Third, financial institutions need to apply for comprehensive insurance policy to minimize the lost in case. 2. Preventive activity should be strengthened during normal financial operations. First, self authentication system for customers needs to be introduced. Second, dealings of day, week, and month need to be thoroughly checked and the system of audit needs to be expanded. Third, message service for the information on financial frauds and their preventive measures needs to be expanded. Fourth, public notification system against examples of financial frauds needs to be expanded. 3. Preventive activity after the occurrence of financial frauds should be strengthened. First, awareness for preventive measures such as imposing penalty on the manager needs to be enhanced. Second, strict restrictions on financial frauders such as a criminal charge needs to be strengthened. Third, there should be legal devices and resolutions in order to retrieve all the money deceived by financial frauds.
