Experimental Researches on the Nonlinear Parameter Identifications and Higher Frequency Response Characteristics of Direct-Radiating Loudspeaker (직접방사형 라우드스피커의 비선형 매개변수 규명 및 고차 주파수 응답특성에 관한 실험연구)

  • 라우드스피커의 비선형 음향특성을 해석하기 위하여 라우드스피커 다이아프램의 비 선형특성을 실험적으로 분석하였다. 라우드스피커를 집중질량계로 모델링하고, 출력소음이 없을 때 적용이 가능한 하모닉 발란스법과 출력소음이 있을 때도 적용할 수 있는 통계적 방 법인 라그란지 배수법을 사용하여 비선형 매개변수를 규명하였다. 70Hz 이하의 주파수 영역 에서는 라그란지 배수법이 2차 하모닉 왜곡특성에서 상대적으로 좋은 결과를 보였으며, 3차 하모닉 왜곡특성에서는 하모닉 발란스법이 실험결과와 잘 일치하였다. 전압가진 및 전류 가 진실험을 통하여, 일반화된 주파수 응답함수를 유도하였고 하모닉 왜곡 및 상호변조 특성을 고찰하였다. 고차 주파수 응답특성은 라우드스피커 비선형 매개변수의 변동에 따른 다이아 프램의 비선형특성을 해석하는데 유용한 수단이 될 수 있음도 확인하였다.

  • 프로젝션 화면(projection display) 상에 보여지는 가상의 물체를 사용자가 직접 조작할 수 있는 인터페이스를 제공하기 위해서는 전경 물체를 검출해내는 과정이 필수적이다. 이전의 색상 정보만을 이용하는 방법은 몇 가지 제약 조건을 가지고 있었다. 본 논문은 색상 보정 (color calibration)과 스테레오 정보(stereo information)를 이용하여 프로젝션 화면 내의 전경물체를 검출하는 방법을 제안한다. 실험에서는 프로젝터를 통해 책상 표면에 투사되는 영상과 일반 캠코더를 통해 얻어진 영상 사이의 왜곡을 기하 왜곡과 색상 왜곡으로 정의하여 모델링 하였고, 스테레오 정보를 이용하여 얻어진 최종 결과를 통해 제안된 방법의 실효성을 입증할 수 있었다.

Conversion of Camera Lens Distortions between Photogrammetry and Computer Vision (사진측량과 컴퓨터비전 간의 카메라 렌즈왜곡 변환)

  • Photogrammetry and computer vision are identical in determining the three-dimensional coordinates of images taken with a camera, but the two fields are not directly compatible with each other due to differences in camera lens distortion modeling methods and camera coordinate systems. In general, data processing of drone images is performed by bundle block adjustments using computer vision-based software, and then the plotting of the image is performed by photogrammetry-based software for mapping. In this case, we are faced with the problem of converting the model of camera lens distortions into the formula used in photogrammetry. Therefore, this study described the differences between the coordinate systems and lens distortion models used in photogrammetry and computer vision, and proposed a methodology for converting them. In order to verify the conversion formula of the camera lens distortion models, first, lens distortions were added to the virtual coordinates without lens distortions by using the computer vision-based lens distortion models. Then, the distortion coefficients were determined using photogrammetry-based lens distortion models, and the lens distortions were removed from the photo coordinates and compared with the virtual coordinates without the original distortions. The results showed that the root mean square distance was good within 0.5 pixels. In addition, epipolar images were generated to determine the accuracy by applying lens distortion coefficients for photogrammetry. The calculated root mean square error of y-parallax was found to be within 0.3 pixels.

  • This paper proposes pre-distorter combined LUT with 2ιpartition interpolation method to reduce nonlinear distortion which was caused by high PAPR and to update LUT quickly. Pre-distorted gain and phase can be found by using LUT which consisted of AM/AM and AM/PM value, and OFDM signal amplitude. The proposed 2ιpartition interpolation can accurately find predistorted gain and phase using bit shift and add component instead of increasing size of LUT which requires increasing the amount of computation. The performance of the proposed method was measured by the difference between HPA input and output characteristics by the LUT size, constellation, SER performance by the HPA, and LUT update error by the HPA characteristic changes. As a result, it is shown that when the size of the LUT is 32 and 64 for 16-QAM and 64-QAM, nonlinear distortion nearly didn't occurred.

  • In this paper, we introduce the analysis and counter-measure of signal distortion of search radar equipped on the ship. Using ShipEDF program, the search radar's main antenna and ship structures are modeled in the view of electromagnetism. Ray tracing method is used for analysis of the search radar's radiation patterns in free space and ship condition. From analyzed radiation patterns, we can conclude that the search radar's signal distortion is due to radiation pattern distortion. We also analyze the surface current distribution of the mast to propose the counter-measure to reduce electro-magnetic field reflection of mast.

  • In this paper, we suggested the method of signal integrity for noises and distortion signal generated between high speed information transmission modules by external effects. Suggested method for signal integrity of impedance matching to remove transmission line distortion, We divided the impedance matching between the transmitter and the receiver module with the single line and differential line methods after confirmed the improvement of signal distortions through ADS simulation. the experimental results indicated that it is possible to keep signal integrity without signal distortions by matching the optimal termination impedance which are considering the signal delay of transmission line for using the high-performance modules.

  • In this paper, a new filtering scheme for vehicle tracking with distorted measurement is presented. This filtering scheme is essential for the implementation of the adaptive cruise control (ACC) system. The proposed method combines the IMM and the probabilistic fuzzy model and is named as the Fuzzy IMM (FIMM). The IMM is employed to recognize the intention of the preceding vehicle. The probabilistic furry model is introduced to compensate the distortion of the range sensor. Finally, a computer simulation is performed to illustrate the validity of the suggested algorithms.

  • 실감모델링(Immersive modeling)이란 모델링하는 사람이 물체의 특성을 고려하여 오감을 활용하여 모델링하는 것을 의미한다. 실감모델링을 위한 오감 중에서 시각은 모델링하는 사람에게 가장 영향을 많이 주기 때문에 실제와 같은 색상과 형상을 생성하는 것이 중요하다. 그러나 가상현실을 위한 데이터를 실시간으로 다루기 위해 많은 데이터를 사용할 수 없고 처리 과정이 단순해야 하기 때문에 시각데이터를 획득하는 과정에도 이를 고려해야 한다. 그 중에서 반짝이는 특성을 가진 물체의 색을 정확히 표현하기 위한 방법으로 색상선(color line)을 사용한다. 색상선은 반짝이는 특성의 표면의 색을 이색성반사 모델(dichromatic reflection model)로 간주하면 색 특성을 표현하는 선이 생성되게 된다. 본 연구는 반짝이는 물체로부터 색상선을 추출하기 위한 방법으로 노출 시간이 다른 여러 장의 이미지로부터 색상을 추출하는 방법을 제안한다. 노출 시간이 다른 이미지를 사용함으로써 한 장에 의해 분류하기 어려운 색상도 분류 가능하고 하이라이트가 발생하여 색상이 왜곡된 경우도 본래 색이 어떤 색상인지 추정되기 때문에 정확한 색상 추출이 된다. 본 연구에서는 3차원 측정 장비를 이용하여 3차원 형상과 색상이 동시 추출된 모델을 이용하여 렌더링된 결과와 제안된 방법으로 추출된 색상을 적용하여 렌더링된 결과를 비교할 것이다.

Minimal Sampling Rate for Quasi-Memoryless Power Amplifiers (전력증폭기 모델링을 위한 최소 샘플링 주파수 연구)

  • In this paper, minimum sampling rates and method of nonlinear characterization were suggested for low power, quasi-memoryless PAs. So far, the Nyquist rate of the input signal has been used for nonlinear PA modeling, and it is burdening Analog-to-digital converters for wideband signals. This paper shows that the input Nyquist rate sampling is not a necessary condition for successful modeling of quasi-memoryless PAs. Since this sampling requirement relives the bandwidth requirements for Analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) for feedback paths in digital pre-distortion systems, relatively low-cost ADcs can be used to identify nonlinear PAs for wideband signal transmission, even at severe aliasing conditions. Simulation results show that a generic memoryless nonlinear RF power amplifier with AMAM and AMPM distortion can be successfully identified at any sampling rates. Measurement results show the modeling error variation is less than 0.8dB over any sampling rates.

  • In this paper, a new linearization algorithm for DPD(Digital PreDistorter) is suggested. This new algorithm uses DFP(Davidon-Fletcher-Powell) method. This algorithm is more accurate than that of the existing algorithms, and this method renew the best-fit value in every routine with out setting the initial value of step-size. In modeling power amplifier, the memory polynomial model which can model the memory effect of the power amplifier is used. And the overall structure of linearizer is based on an indirect learning architecture. In order to verify for performance of proposed algorithm, we compared with LMS(Least Mean-Squares), RLS(Recursive Least squares) algorithm.
