LRU Layout Method Using Genetic Algorithm (유전 알고리즘을 이용한 LRU 최적배치 방법)

  • It is difficult to establish a quantitative standard because there are many factors to consider, such as environmental conditions, airworthiness, and maintainability, in determining the installation location of equipment in an aircraft. In addition, as the number of equipment increases, the design proposal increases exponentially, so the design is proceeding depending on the experience of the designer much in order to review it within a limited time schedule. In this paper, a method of calculating the length and weight of the wiring harness according to the location of the equipment and a method of optimizing the weight of the wiring harness and the CG of the equipment using genetic algorithms are described in order to create a quantitative standard useful by comparing the optimal design and the actual design.

A Study of Bridge Connector Development on Wiring Harness Improvement in Vehicles (차량용 와이어링 하네스 개선을 위한 브릿지 커넥터 개발에 관한 연구)

  • Recently a large number of electronic control devices are abruptly increasing in vehicles as the electronic industry advances. Also the number of wiring harnesses and complexity of wiring is proportionally increased to the devices. A newly developed connector named bridge connector is introduced in this study for the purpose of the wiring structure changes. A wiring structure among distributed control systems by using serial communication is proposed with the bridge connector in this paper. The bridge connector contains a auto-recovery fuse made by PTC thermistor material for the protection of the over-currents on local control devices. The auto-recovery function of the fuse is needed for the maintenance free system in the distributed controls. The PTC fuse characteristics organized in this study is tested and the results are showed in detail for the real application.

자율주행자동차를 위한 차세대 E/E(Electric/Electronic) 아키텍처 설계 동향

  • 본 논문에서는 차량 내에서 중요성이 증가하고 있는 전기전자 시스템을 효율적으로 설계하기 위해서 진행되고 있는 E/E 아키텍처 설계에 대해서 소개한다. 먼저 차세대 E/E 아키텍처를 설계하기 위한 요소기술로 와이어링 하네스의 설계, 표준회로를 적용한 표준제어기, 소프트웨어 플랫폼 및 E/E 아키텍처 평가기술에 대해서 각각 설명하였다. 다음으로 E/E 아키텍처 설계를 위해서 필요한 차량용 내부 네트워크 기술에 대한 최근의 국제표준화 동향을 살펴보고 세부기술에 대해서 소개하였다. 마지막으로 시스템레벨에서의 최적화를 고려하여 설계한 차세대 E/E 아키텍처의 설계방안에 대해서 기술하였다.

  • With the advent of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, multi-variety production in the up-to-date manufacturing environment is proceeding more rapidly whereby production planning and management have been getting more complicated. Moreover, the need to improve production efficiency through effective operation sequencing is further heightened. Fundamentally, the effective operation sequencing can reduce the set-up of the equipment, efficiently utilize the equipment, shorten the set-up time, and ultimately contribute to productivity improvement. This study deals with the problem of efficient operation sequencing in a situation where a single machine performs multiple operations. The complexity of the problem is very high when compared to the case where only one operation is performed on one machine, which is covered in most existing studies. In this paper, we propose an integer programming model to minimize the number of setups. This study aims at minimizing the number of mold replacement times in the process of processing a given production order for the wiring harness manufacturing process, which is one of the components of automobile electric field. In addition, brief case studies are presented to verify the validity of the proposed mathematical model.

  • Due to the introduction of the electronic control systems, agricultural machine is getting complicated with its special function. The complex electronics system increases difficulty of maintenances in the wiring harness system. The heavy wiring harness has some poor reliability and workability in the production line of manufacture also. So, in this study, some small local control modules are developed to complement the difficulties with the benefits of distributed control system. All of the local control modules are connected by using CAN communication. This system developed this study has the advantages of modification or alteration of wiring and local modules. All the sensors and actuators can be easily monitored and controlled by the main controller with the appropriate communication protocol made by in this study.

  • 차량 전장품 중 와이어링 하네스에서 큰 전류가 흐르는 회로의 연결 단자가 가지는 전기적 내구 성능 및 기계적 성능을 확보하기 위하여 단자 압착부의 압축율 최적화 기법을 개발하였다. 우선 단자 제작 과정을 표준화한 후 압착부의 주요 인자인 기계적 인장강도와 내부 부식 정도에 의한 전기적 저항 중대로 화재가 발생 가능성 관점에서 접근하였다. 여러 가지 실험을 통하여 얻어진 DATA를 분석한 결과 회귀 2차 모형을 사용하여 대전류 단자 압착부의 전기적/기계적 내구 성능 최적화 구간을 설정 하였으며, 이의 과정을 제시 하였다.

  • Since past till now, automotive wiring harness has been designed and produced under the method of part number list. However, the number of options has increased gradually on the basis of customer's needs and car manufacturer's policy, thereby bringing about an increase in the number of classified parts. Because of a large number of classified parts, cost estimates for manufacturing and production planning are more important than ever. However, the pre-existing manufacturing bill of material abbreviated as BOM is only focused on the list of materials used for actual manufacturing, and as such there have been limits to other fields or areas of usage except for manufacturing. In essence, the present paper is concerned with our study conducted on modular BOM as one of planning BOM. On such basis, we have been able to completely use a method by which to have access, make an option units' calculation in wiring harness manufacturing, and build an efficient system for cost estimates in manufacturing as well.

Research on Vehicle Diagnostic and Monitoring technology Using WiBro Portable Device (와이브로 휴대기기를 사용한 차량진단 및 모니터링 기술에 관한 연구)

  • This is concerned with the technology to monitor the vehicle operation, failure and disorder by using WiBro portable device. More precisely, the technology makes it possible that the information collection device is connected to both ECU(Electronic Control Unit) which is the device for controlling engine, transmission, brake, air-bag, etc that are connected to in-vehicle network and OBD-II connector that is for data collection from various sensors. In addition, with a WiBro portable device (cell phone, PDA, PMP, UMPC, etc). equipped with a vehicle diagnostic programs, information for operation, failure and malfunction can be obtained and analyzed in real-time, and alarm is alerted when the vehicle is in abnormal status, which makes the early reactions to the status. Furthermore, the collected data can be sent through WiBro network to the server managed by the company specialized in managing the vehicles, thus the technology could help the drivers who have less knowledge about their auto-vehicles have safe and economic driving. There is always a possibility of malfunction due to various types of noise that are caused by wring-harness when the device is wired-connected. In this research, in order to overcome this problem, we propose a system configuration that can do monitoring and diagnosis with a device for collecting data from vehicle and a personal WiBro device. Also, we performed research on data acquisition and interlock for the system defined by the definition for information and data sharing platform.
