Analysis of Effects of Learning Motivation on the Interaction in Online Cooperation Learning (온라인 협력학습에서 학습동기가 상호작용에 미치는 영향 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of learning motivation on interaction in online collaborative learning. The study subjects are 79 university students who take courses in teaching. Learning motivations measured the intrinsic goal orientation, extrinsic goal orientation, tasks value, control of learning beliefs, test anxiety, self-efficacy, goal orientation by MSLQ. Next, the level of interaction was measured by online collaborative tasks. The group for online cooperation tasks consisted of four to five people and random assignment. The level of interaction was used frequency and score that quantitative Value assess. The collected data were analysed using multiple regression analysis(stepwise). As a result, self-efficacy and extrinsic goal orientation, tasks value, mastery goal orientation were positive effect on frequency and score. next, test anxiety and performance avoid goal orientation were negative effect on frequency and score.

Exploring of Reaction Behavior to Instructor Messages according to Learning Motivation Types in Online Collaborative Learning (온라인 협력학습 환경에서 학습동기 유형에 따라 교수메시지에 대한 반응행동 탐색)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate learners' reaction behaviors by the type of learning motive when teaching messages were delivered. The subjects of this study were 82 students from Auniversity and Buniversity in the metropolitan area. Students were online collaborative learning. The instructor delivered six messages. Since then, the researchers have measured the learner 's response time and the frequency and level of interaction. And analyzed using an independent sample t-test. As a result, the frequency and level of interaction increased before the message was delivered. The response time to instructional messages was the fastest among the students with performance avoidance goal orientation. Mastery goal orientation students were most sensitive to scaffolding messages. Performance avoidance goal orientation students responded most sensitively to the reminder message. Finally, Mastery goal orientation students had the most action on new topics. And performance approach goal orientation students had the most to do with accuracy and relevance.

An Analysis on the Visualization of the Online Newspaper : Focusing on the dependent Online Newspaper and Naver News (온라인신문의 시각화에 대한 분석: 종속형 온라인신문과 네이버 뉴스를 중심으로)

  • This study aims at grasping the degree of change on the layout of newspaper through the analysis on the visualization of the Online Newspaper. It was analyzed on the basis of six dependent Online Newspapers. Six news companies' home pages and NAVER news homepage were compared and analyzed. As a result of the analysis, it has been found that the layout of the Online Newspaper has been changed rapidly through the visualization. Especially, the visualizations of some Online Newspaper have already reached the high level, and those of other newspapers are also under way rapidly. The visualization of the Online Newspaper is going on in the way that the size of images and the number of times of their being used in the news stories are increasing. Consequently, the visualization of the Online Newspaper follows the course of that of paper-based newspaper, and the relative importance of 'a newspaper that sees with an eye' to 'a newspaper that reads with an eye' grows bigger and bigger.

The Effect of University Students' Grit on Learning Satisfaction: The Mediating Effect of Family Strength (온라인 학습환경에서 대학생의 그릿이 학습만족도에 미치는 영향: 가족건강성의 매개효과)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of family strength as a parameter on the relationship between grit, and learning satisfaction of university students. The grit scale, family strength scale and learning satisfaction scale were applied to data from surveys conducted on 194 students recruited from a university in G gun, C province. This study examined the mediating effects of family strength in relation to grit and learning satisfaction using the hierarchical regression analysis. Results showed that family strength had partial mediating effects in the between grit and learning satisfaction. Therefore, it seems that grit directly and indirectly affect learning satisfaction through family strength. This result indicates that the importance of family strength for learning satisfaction and suggest that family strength should be included in developing learning satisfaction improvement programs.

Impacts of e-Grocery Consumers' Shadow Work on Mobile Shopping Avoidance and Switching Behavior (온라인 식료품 소비자의 그림자노동인식이 모바일 쇼핑회피와 전환행동에 미치는 영향)

  • In nowadays, Covid-19 has transformed patterns of consumers' behavior into a non-face-to-face mode. As the patterns of consumption have been digitalized, it has become a daily routine for consumers who perform so-called shadow work, which involves unpaid jobs that they have to do by themselves. In mobile grocery service context, consumers' shadow work could lead to shopping avoidance as well as switching toward other shopping channels. Thus, this study is to examine how consumers' perception of shadow work affect mobile shopping avoidance and switching intention toward other shopping channels. This study collected 283 survey data from online respondents who have experience on subscription services for ordering groceries in online. We also tested our research model by using partial least squares. Based on our results, this study has found that the perception of shadow work had a positive effect on mobile shopping avoidance as well as switching intention. We expect that our findings could contribute to relevant research on shadow work and suggest practical implications for digital platforms dealing with subscription business models

The Importance of Time Management in Self-Regulated Learning: Focusing on University Online Courses

  • This study aims to answer the following questions: 'Do university students who are satisfied with their online courses have higher academic achievement?' and 'What are the key self-regulated learning strategy factors that influence satisfaction and academic performance?'. To do this, this study conducted a survey of university students taking online courses and collected a total of 95 questionnaires. Research method used structural equation model. The results of the analysis showed that, First, satisfaction and academic achievement in university online courses were found to be unrelated. Second, the factors affecting satisfaction and academic achievement were found to be different. Time management was analyzed as a significant factor affecting both satisfaction and academic achievement, while interaction was found to affect satisfaction only. These findings can be used as a basis for developing practical policies to prioritize and support self-regulated learning as an effective teaching method in university online courses.

An Analysis of Cases of Real-time Online Class Design by Pre-service Science Teachers (예비 과학 교사의 실시간 온라인 수업 설계 사례 분석)

  • This study aimed to analyze cases of online class design by pre-service science teachers to identify the teaching strategies employed for online classes. For this purpose, the real-time online class lesson plans of 12 pre-service science teachers, who had experienced education utilizing online teaching tools for a semester, were collected and analyzed. The pre-service science teachers considered all the elements that were essential in traditional face-to-face class designs, including prerequisites, statements of learning objectives, stimulating motivation, teaching and learning methods, wrapping up, teacher-student interaction, and assessment. They devised teaching strategies that could overcome the limitations of online teaching and were not feasible in face-to-face classes for each element. Additionally, they were considering new instructional strategies tailored to the online teaching environment, such as creating a conducive environment for using online teaching tools and strategies related to checking the online teaching environment. However, for statements of learning objectives, stimulating motivation, and wrapping up, most of the pre-service science teachers predominantly utilized teaching strategies from traditional face-to-face classes, especially those involving the presentation of visual materials through online tools. Student-centered approaches were rarely implemented in stimulating motivation or wrapping up. These findings imply that one semester of exposure to the utilization of online teaching tools may be insufficient in teacher education. Thus, there is a need for a continuous and expanded educational program on the utilization of online teaching tools as part of pre-service teacher education.

Development and Application of an Online Clinical Practicum Program on Emergency Nursing Care for Nursing Students (간호학생의 응급환자간호 임상실습 온라인 프로그램 개발 및 적용)

  • Purpose: Clinical practicums via non-face-to-face methods were inevitable due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We developed an online program for emergency nursing care and identified the feasibility of the program and the learning achievements of students. Methods: This was a methodological study. The program was developed by three professors who taught theory and clinical practicum for adult nursing care and clinical experts. Students received four hours of video content and two task activities every week in four-week program. Real-time interactive video conferences were included. Qualitative and qualitative data were collected. Results: A total of 96 students participated in the program. The mean score for overall satisfaction with the online program was 4.72(±1.02) out of 6. Subjects that generally had high learning achievement scores were basic life support care, fall prevention, nursing documentation, infection control, and anaphylaxis care. As a result of a content analysis of 77 reflective logs on the advantages of this program, students reported that "experience in applying nursing process," "case-based learning and teaching method," and "No time and space constraints" were the program's best features. Conclusion: Collaboration between hospitals and universities for nursing is more important than ever to develop online content for effective clinical practicum.

A Study of the Communications in On-line Communities: Focused on Self-construals (온라인 커뮤니티 내의 커뮤니케이션에 관한 연구: 자아성향(Self-construal)에 따른 관계 중심으로)

  • This thesis explores the relationship between self-construal and online communication pattern. The Internet has changed human-to human communication. This study was to analyze how the self-construal was appeared and what relationship self-construal had with several variables: the motivation of the on-line community member, the on-line community's character, the communication behavior, the level of relationship between on-line community members- in on-line communities. The data was collected through the on-line survey research(N=79) and off-line survey research(N=255). The results lead us to conclude that the self-construals in on-line communities reflect two factors, which is similar to the off-line community. Nevertheless, self-construals in on-line communities are more complicated. In addition, uniqueness of self-construals which is the tendency to express the self and think connection with others critical is the important factor in on-line communities' communication. It is also central that the impact of self-construals on communication behavior is significant. I think this study was a small touch to explore cyber communication applying to self-consturals. And I hope this small touch would spread out and help to understand human communication as well as cyber communication.

  • 최근 인터넷을 중심으로 한 전자정보 통신의 발달은 종래의 연속간행물 출판과 배포에 새로운 국면을 제공하고 있는데 바로 전자형태의 저널 및 잡지의 출현이다. 특히 디지털도서관의 출현으로 대부분의 학술잡지들을 인쇄본과 함께 전자형태로 출판하는 추세에 있으며, 이러한 추세에 맞추어 각 출판사, 대학, 연구소 및 전운정보센터에서는 학술지를 중심으로 대부분의 자료들을 디지털화하여 온라인으로 제공하고 있다. 본 연구는 주요 도서관들이 이러한 새로운 정보매체, 즉 전자형태의 저널 및 잡지를 수용하는데 있어서 한정된 예산으로 해당 도서관들이 필요로 한 전자저널과 전자잡지를 선별·수집할 때 적용할 수 있는 평가요소를 연구하였다.
