  • Effectiveness of the e-learning hands-on practice in the engineering education depends on the quality of the contents of which simulation is a part and the teaching strategy of the instructor. Instructors who develop and use the simulation-included e-learning content should employ various teaching and learning activities which would make online simulation practice effective. Thus, the strategy for the effective e-learning simulated practice in engineering courses should be known and used effectively. The aim of this paper is to classify the development methods of the simulations and the teaching and learning activities of the development types classified. The comparison of the teaching and learning activities leads to suggestion on teaching and learning strategy for effective use of the online simulation in engineering education.

  • With the development of e-learning teaching methods, the demand for blended learning, which combines face-to-face education and e-learning, is increasing, and it shows a learning effect that can replace the existing face-to-face class. Engineering subjects have various learning activities such as practice, so it is not easy to operate them with traditional blended learning. Therefore, a different teaching and learning design is required according to the learning activities required for the subject. In this paper, examples of teaching method design and operation for blended learning in engineering subjects were introduced, and their effects investigated and analyzed. Learning activities were subdivided into theoretical classes, practical classes, quizzes and Q&A, assignments and solutions, and teaching and learning methods such as online videos, LMS utilization, and face-to-face classes were applied according to learning activities. According to the results of the student satisfaction survey, blended learning showed higher satisfaction than pure online and face-to-face classes in engineering subjects, and showed differentiated satisfaction for each learning activity.

  • In this paper, we studied about method that instructor and learner execute teaching-learning activities and about the educational effects of a web based practice instruction. And, in practice instruction, we examined about role and influence of instructor, learner and manager. This study shows the method that instructor and learner execute teaching-learning activities and interaction activities in a "construction of e-business system" curriculum to support the informational education for an industrial workers. The research subject was the 15 industrial workers who enrolled a informational instruction coulee provided for two weeks by kimpo college, As a research method, workers survey, interview, and profile analysis were used for this study. The result of this study show that interaction between instructor, learner and manager was not executed actively, but the manner of lecturing about interest of learner, usage of email, question and answer of bulletin board, online-practice were brought an effect on interaction of learner activities and the educational effects.l effects.

  • The purpose of this study is to identify contradictions in library internship, and address them. As a case study, students who were enrolled in the internship class opened in the 2016 fall semester in a university in Seoul were interviewed. Through applying Activity Theory, the process of internship and contradictions presented in its process were analyzed. The findings indicate that students were satisfied with their internship experience. The internship experience also makes positive impacts on students in terms of understanding the library and information science and deciding their future career as a librarian. Such contradictions as internship duration, operation of the internship process, level of participation or practice, and overlap of part-time experience in a library were identified. This study suggests to make the internship systematic in order to address the contradictions through that all parties in internship are actively participated in internship and that they share information related with the internship.

  • 최근 IT 기술이 발전함에 따라 교육형태도 많이 발전되고 있다. 특히 IT 기기를 활용할 수 있는 온라인 교육에 집중되고 있다. 온라인 교육 시스템 중 하나인 MOOT(Massive Open Online Textbook)이 주목받고 있다.

  • Learning system on virtual environment gives the immersive feeling that lacks in existing E-Learning system, excites user's interest, and offers dangerous and expensive education contents. In this paper, we classified the learning categories into four classes: realtime lecture, anytime study, practice education, and the activity of study group. We built the on-line lecture system using Second Life that supports 3D virtual world and mixed reality. We provided virtual learning environment as running developed virtual world on-line lecture system.

  • The purpose of this study was to develop and apply an online-based Arduino programming experience program. In this study, the program was developed and applied based on the contents presented in the ADDIE model and Lee's model. The results of this study were as follows. First, two types of educational program were developed for online use by students of the free semester system. Second, the program content included practical materials such as teaching websites and video lectures. Third, the developed program was applied a total of three times in the school environment and when the student did not attend school. Fourth, analysis of student satisfaction confirmed that the students were satisfied with the development program. The content of this study will serve as a reference for instructors who plan online-based hands-on activities in places where instructors are not readily available, such as islands or mountainous areas.

  • The purpose of this study is to design and operate non-face-to-face online practice class in engineering education, and to explore students' perceptions and effectiveness of them. To this end, after developing and implementing a strategy for non-face-to-face online practice activities in the 'Introduction to Electric Circuits and Lab' course, the questionnaire responses of 47 learners were analyzed, and the group differences were investigated using Kruskal-Wallis test. As a result, it was found that students' perceptions of non-face-to-face online practice class were positive in terms of learning effect, learning convenience, interaction, and satisfaction. The group difference according to the face-to-face/non-face-to-face preference method was found to be higher in the group that preferred non-face-to-face class in terms of learning convenience, interaction and satisfaction. As for the group difference according to the number of questions and answers of the learners, the group who answered the question showed a higher awareness of the learning convenience and interaction than the group that did not. In addition, implications for designing a learning environment for non-face-to-face online practice classes were presented.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate empathic ability, Nunchi, learning flow and clinical competency, and to identify the influencing factors on clinical competency of nursing students. Method: There were 179 nursing students as participants in K city, who were surveyed between May 10 and May 14, 2021, using a self-report questionnaire. Data were analyzed by frequencies, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation, multiple regression using SPSS Win 21.0. Result: There was a positive correlation between empathic ability and Nunchi(r=.148, p=.048) and between learning flow and clinical competency(r=.605, p<.001). In the multiple regression, Academic achievement(𝛽=.129, p=.049), Age(𝛽=-.116, p=.014) and satisfaction of clinical practice(𝛽=-.242, p<.001) were associated with clinical competency. These factors accounted for 38.4% of the total variance in clinical competency. Therefore, to improve clinical competency of online nursing practice of nursing college students, it is necessary to develop a specific strategy to improve academic achievement and to develop various activities and programs to immerse students in satisfaction of online practice.
