A Study on the User Satisfaction of Public Library Users in Korea (우리나라 공공도서관의 이용자만족도에 관한 연구: 2010 공공도서관 운영 평가 이용자만족도 조사 결과를 중심으로)

  • This study examines user satisfaction in public libraries nationwide. It analyzes service quality factors that affect user satisfaction of public library patrons and identify sub-factors of service quality that affect the overall user satisfaction. User satisfaction factors were developed to measure library satisfaction in all aspects of the library service. Six variables were identified, including volume of books, staff, programs, facilities, online services, and information availability. According to survey findings, general library satisfaction was strongly correlated with information availability, facilities, and staff. Relatively lower levels of satisfaction were identified in the areas of online services and programs. All six service quality factors were statistically significantly associated with user satisfaction, where information availability, facilities, and volume of books showed stronger associations than the other three factors.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 가상강좌의 만족을 설명할 수 있는 정보시스템 적 고려와 수업 적 변수가 동시에 고려된 연구모형을 제안하고 이에 대한 실증적 검증을 하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 수강생이 지각하는 가상강좌의 품질은 크게 정보기술에 대한 품질과 수강과목에 대한 품질로 나될 수 있다. 수강과목에 대한 품질은 다시 수업 내용에 대한 컨텐츠의 품질과 온라인 및 오프라인에서 제공되는 인적인 서비스 즉, 해당 교수나 조교수의 서비스 품질로 구분될 수 있고, 정보기술에 대한 품질은 정보기술로서의 가상강좌 사용에 관련된 두 가지 믿음인 사용용이성과 유용성에 의해 측정될 수 있다. 한편 가상강좌에서 제공되는 서비스는 정보기술 사용에 대한 자신감과 학업에 대한 자신감과 밀접한 연관을 갖고 있기 때문에 수강생이 지각하는 가상강좌의 품질은 컴퓨터 자기효능 감 및 학업 적 자기효능 감이 영향을 미칠 수 있다. 즉, 컴퓨터 자기효능 감이 사용용이성 및 유용성에 영향을 주며, 학업 적 자기효능 감은 수업만족에 영향을 미칠 수 있다.

A Study on the Influence of the Expectation and Perceived Performance of the Online Science & Technology Information Service Quality on User Satisfaction and Royalty (온라인 과학기술정보 서비스 품질에 대한 기대수준과 성과에 대한 지각수준이 이용자 만족도와 충성도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to reveal the influence of the expectation and perceived performance of the online science & technology information service quality on user satisfaction and royalty. To achieve this goal, we use the NDSLQual model to measure the quality of NDSL service. The results were as follows: First, among seven expectation factors, four factors (reliability, convenience, system usability and information quality) had a positive effect on the user satisfaction. Second, while service recovery had a negative effect on the royalty, the other six factors (reliability, convenience, system usability, responsiveness, security and information quality) had a positive effect on the royalty. Third, among seven perceived performance factors, three factors (reliability, convenience and information quality) had a positive effect on the user satisfaction. Fourth, among seven perceived performance factors, three factors (reliability, convenience and information quality) had a positive effect on the royalty. As a result, information quality, reliability and convenience of the expectation and perceived performance are common factors influencing user satisfaction and royalty.

A Study on Online Science & Technology Information Service Quality Measurement Using Expectation and Disconfirmation Analysis (기대불일치 분석기법을 적용한 온라인 과학기술정보 서비스 품질 측정)

  • The purpose of this study is to reveal their satisfaction procedures from users of information service expectation-disconfirmation theory. To achieve this goal, we use the NDSLQual model to measure the quality of NDSL service. The results were as follows: First, while the expectation has a negative effect on the expectation-disconfirmation, it has a positive effect on the perceived performance. And perceived performance has a positive effect on the expectation-disconfirmation. Second, the expectation-disconfirmation has a positive effect on the overall satisfaction and loyalty. However the explanatory adequacy of the regression model is very low. Third, perceived performance has a positive effect on the overall satisfaction and loyalty. In order to increase the overall satisfaction and loyalty for NDSL, it is necessary to seek ways to improve the perceived performance and lower the expectation-disconfirmation.

The Influences of Cognitive Authority of Online Information Sources on Information Quality Evaluation (온라인 정보원의 인지적 권위에 대한 인식이 정보의 품질 평가에 미치는 영향)

  • Due to the fact that cognitive authority influences an individual's thoughts so that a given information is perceived as appropriate, people evaluate information based on their cognitive authority. The purpose of the present study is to examine the perception of the cognitive authority of online information sources used by college students to carry out their academic tasks, and to determine whether such perceptions affect the quality assessment of information sources, such as webpages, e-journals, and Wikipedia,. Specifically, we measured how cognitive authority, which were formed by the author, the surface, and the content of an information source influenced its accuracy, usefulness, completeness, and expertise. For this purpose, online surveys were conducted with college students, and 172 valid responses were obtained. Findings indicated that all the characteristics that formed the cognitive authority of an information source had significant impacts on its accuracy, usefulness, completeness, and expertise. The study suggests academic implications that confirm the associations between cognitive authority and credibility of information in the context of online information sources. Furthermore, the study provides practical implications that system developers or operators of information sources need to consider diverse factors that affect their cognitive authority to promote users' trust on the information that they deliver.

  • Conventional design producing systems using the Internet are largely classified into two groups: a basic type in which an operator of a design producing site receives an order for manufacture of a design from a purchaser, produces the design based on the content of the received order, and delivers the produced design to the purchaser; and a type in which a purchaser inspects given designs and select one of them for purchasing. Such conventional design producing systems have following problems. Firstly, receiving an order over the internet and delivering a produced design to a purchaser has nearly the same procedure as a conventional logo design procedure with the sole exception that an order can be received through the Internet. Therefore, the production of a design still costs a great deal and takes much time. Secondly, inspecting given designs, selecting one and producing the selected design is like simply selecting a picture, and thus a purchaser is not allowed to modify a design. To solve the above problems, it is an object of the present a new solution to provide a self-design producing system and method using network, in which a purchaser searches a design database for a design suitable for the purchaser's company, determines a design database by modifying design conditions, and makes an order for manufacture of a product to which the determined design is applied, through the Internet.

  • As a result of the this exploratory study the main results show that the factors affecting the satisfaction of non-face-to-face class learning of graduate students in Education were social presence, perceived easy to use, and information service quality. Secondly, the factors affecting the learning persistence were perceived usefulness and social presence, but perceived usefulness's influence was relatively small. Next, it was found that the subjective satisfaction of graduate students of education did not significantly affect their intention to continue learning persistence. Lastly, learning satisfaction and learning persistence had a positive effect on the intention to recommend to others. Through the this empirical analysitics study it demonstrate the factors such as attitudes, feelings, and friendliness toward non-face-to-face online classes perceived by graduate students in Education.

  • 본 논문에서는 중국의 소비자가 e-비즈니스에 대한 행태를 설문조사를 통해 분석하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 크게 e-비즈니스에 대한 만족감, 신뢰도, 개인정보유출에 대한 태도, 그리고 온라인 소비에 대한 제약 요인 네 가지 측면에서 조사하였다. 조사결과에 의하면 중국의 소비자는 e-비즈니스 이용에 대해서는 비교적 만족하고 있으나 상대적으로 e-비즈니스에 대한 신뢰도는 만족감보다 낮게 나타나고 있다. 개인정보유출에 대해서는 비교적 긍정적이지만 남성보다는 여성이 상대적으로 소극적인 태도를 보이고 있다. 그리고 온라인 소비를 제약하는 가장 중요한 요인으로 제품의 품질에 대한 보장으로 나타났다. 이는 온라인 거래에 있어서 제품에 대한 보장이 결국은 e-비즈니스의 신뢰도를 높이는 가장 중요한 조건으로 해석할 수 있다.

  • 현재 온라인 동영상 트래픽은 인터넷 전체 트래픽의 60% 이상을 차지하고 있으며, 앞으로는 더욱 증가될 것으로 전망된다. 그동안 인터넷 상에서 온라인 동영상의 생성과 배포에 관한 생태계가 견고히 구축되었고, 유통되는 동영상의 품질이나 압축기술 등은 그 어느 때보다 급속히 발전되어 왔다. 그에 비해 동영상의 활용에 있어서는 대부분의 이용자가 주로 동영상을 찾고 보고 듣는 데 그치고 있다. 그러나 동영상에는 스토리, 등장인물, 배경이 되는 장소, 의미 있는 사물 등과 같은 부가 정보들이 내포되어 있어 이 정보를 적극 활용하면 동영상의 활용 가치를 높일 수 있다. 본 고에서는 동영상의 활용 가치를 높이는 서비스를 제공하는 수단으로서 동영상에 포함된 부가 정보를 획득하고, 모델링하고, 표현하는 기술들에 관해 고찰한다. 더불어 현재의 온라인 동영상 서비스를 살펴보면서 부가정보를 적극 활용하게 될 미래의 동영상 서비스를 가늠하고자 한다.

  • 최근 팬데믹의 영향으로 비대면 문화가 확산하였다. 온라인 수업의 경우 시간과 공간에 구애받지 않고, 본인이 원하는 강의를 선택함으로써 학습의 질을 향상할 수 있는 장점이 있다. 이에 비대면 문화가 퍼짐에 따라 교육 온라인 수업의 수요와 중요도가 증가하였다. 따라서, 기업이나 교육단체가 가지는 원격 강의 플랫폼 품질의 중요성이 크다. 온라인 학습 플랫폼 구축을 위해서는 미디어 플레이어가 필수적이다. 인터넷에서 보안의 중요성이 대두됨에 따라, 본 논문에서는 다양한 플랫폼에 적용할 수 있는 HLS 프로토콜 기반 미디어 웹 플레이어를 개발하고자 한다.
