  • Under quarantine policies related to the Coronavirus, museums have closed or started limited operations. Currently, museums are trying to adapt to the untact situation, while maintaining the museum's original function and communicating with visitors through online platforms. This paper first analyzes the operation status of domestic and foreign museums under untact situations and the operation status of online platforms. In order to reconsider the publicity of the museum, the definition of the museum by ICOM and Hannah Arendt's concept of publicity should be examined. Through this, the importance of the function of public art museums in forming democratic discourse and awakening community could be developed. To this end, first, public forum to discuss the quarantine policy of museums should be developed. Second, local and central governments should support museums financially. Finally, the online platforms of the museum should be more activated. Despite the untact situation of the museum, the publicity of art museums must be addressed in order to discuss the community's difficulties democratically.

  • Most of the Korean performing arts markets are not only small but also show their limitations in terms of their role as a platform for the promotion of performing arts and future growth prospects. This study started from the perception that the domestic performing arts markets need the cooperation between the markets in order to overcome the current situation and become the representative performing arts markets of Asia. To do this, we conducted surveys and in-depth interviews on market collaborations with domestic performing arts officials such as PAMS, Jeju Haevichi Art Festival and G-FAFE. For successful inter-market collaboration, the first is to change ideas and thinking about collaborations, second, to select programs suitable for direct supervision and collaboration based on evaluation of comparative advantage, and third, to establish and operate the 'Performing Arts Market Collaboration Promotion Committee(tentative name)'. And the fourth, starting from the sharing of the network that is most required at this stage, it is necessary to develop the sharing of manpower and places through mutual financial support or sharing between the central government, the metropolitan municipalities.

  • This study is about interaction design types in the production of sensor-based media installations combining Arduino, an open source platform. By typifying the realized media installation works, we seek to explore the diversity and meaning of new media art expression methods. Based on the understanding of the interaction method of media art, the interaction design type in the production of media installation using sensors was divided into physical movement through motor control, 'artificial plants using ultrasonic sensors and motors', and 'virtual garden using light and sound sensors'. 'Moving images using tilt sensors' are classified into four types. Through this, it is expected that media software can be selected as an appropriate technology for the work and can be presented as an example of artistic expression that is evolving into various expressions.

TV Broadcasting Station needs a long-term perspective that suits cultural media and an aggressive cultural and artistic program development strategy that matches rapidly changing culture and technology. Of course, production staff should be composed of experts in the field as well as cultural artists. This paper is researching the promotion strategy of TV Arts programs by substituting the three keywords - the U.S., the public broadcasting station(TV) and Arts programs. And through case studies and analyses of PBS TV's "Art in the 21st Century" series, the way the public TV broadcasting station shares cultural arts with viewers is extracted. • Service Design Platform which has been developing under the sponsorship of the Ministry of Knowledge Economy is aimed at facilitating service design consultancy to carry out service design projects smoothly online. In the development process in order to verify and improve the usability of the platform, heuristic evaluations by usability experts along with usability test done by user participation are required. This study was conducted for the purpose of deriving appropriate evaluation areas and detailed evaluation indices prior to carrying out the heuristic evaluation. For the study, first, the concept of the service design platform was identified and the features of its component were analyzed. Second, based on literature study of standards which are related to usability evaluation indices, usability evaluation areas and indices were analyzed. Third, in order to establish and verify evaluation areas and indices which are appropriate for the evaluation, Delphi survey was conducted and its validity was verified. Through this study, evaluation indices with 4 evaluation areas and 45 detailed items were derived. Derived evaluation indices was made in the form of checklist and will be utilized for heuristic evaluation by usability experts.

  • Today, the advance of a community tool such as a SNS enables users to easily share information each other and quickly deliver various opinions to suppliers. The suppliers are trying to create new value through co-creation strategies in order to satisfy rapidly and variously changing user's needs. User-participation-based idea platforms are emerging as a open innovation space that can provide user participation and interaction between suppliers and users. However, although each idea platform has specific advantages in each stage of a development process, this development process is not generalized as one complete, integrated development process. Thus, the development of an effectively integrated process, which includes advantages in each stage of the process, is needed. This research aims to analysis the characteristics of idea platforms based on the classification of idea platforms as a basic study for proposing a new development processes of them. This research will contribute to the guideline for developing a new user-participation-based idea platform.
