A research framework for development of a LCCA based tunnel asset management system (LCCA기반 터널 자산관리 시스템 개발을 위한 연구개발 프레임웍 설계)

  • As many parts of Korea are mountainous, many tunnels have been constructed to be in step with rapid economic development since 1970's. However, the interest on maintenance of tunnels is far less than the awareness of need for tunnels. As the tunnel maintenance system is the responsive maintenance system which responds to the problems found during the inspection, it will be very difficult to respond to each problem with the limited budget and manpower of the government agencies when the number of aged tunnels rapidly increase in the future. As such, this study presents the need for the LCCA (Life Cycle Cost Analysis) based tunnel asset management system to transform the tunnel maintenance to a preventive management system in a strategic and long-term viewpoint and proposes the framework for development direction. It observed the asset management implementation cases of social infrastructure in other countries and analyzed the need for asset management technique to manage the tunnels in Korea. Moreover, it applied the LCCA model, which is the economic and engineering quantitative decision making technique, for tunnel asset management to present the concrete direction for development of an asset management model and designed the R&D framework to systemize it.

  • In particular, the investigation of tendons in PSC Box Girder Bridge should be done in a systematic way. It is important to identify preventative maintenance activities that should be carried out in order to analyze the risk factors by type of representative tensions and to reduce risks in the long term. However, in the current maintenance system, various methodologies for investigating and repairing tensions have been studied, but it is difficult to investigate precisely tensions. Therefore, to apply the risk assessment for screening of tensions to the domestic PSC Box Bridge, we presented a risk matrix evaluation index that is consistent with the state assessment and maintenance system.

  • Crack in Pavements have been continually increased a by water penetration Therefore, the cracks can result in deterioration of the pavements that could be extremely dangerous fro road users. Creak sealing work performed in outdoor is very dangerous, costly and labor intensive. To slove these problems, automated crack sealing systems have been developed. it Would be needed that work information related to crack sealing must be gathered in an effort to used for existing or future crack sealing work. Furthermore, work information related to crack sealing could be utilized in analyzing work productivity and condition. The primary objective of this study is to propose a PDA and Web-based system for work information management of crack sealing which enables to effectively interchange work information between head office and fields, and to accurately collect work information. Finally, it is anticipated that the effective use of the developed PDA and web-based system would be able to effectively share work Information, measure productivity, estimate costs as well as plan future work schedule.

An Analysis of Maintenance Cost of Preventive Optimized-Rehabilitation Area Method in Asphalt Concrete Pavement (예방적 최소단면 보수공법 적용 아스팔트 도로포장의 유지관리 비용분석)

  • The paper presents the economic analysis of optimized-rehabilitation area method considered as one of the preventive maintenance methods in asphalt concrete pavement. The optimized-rehabilitation area was selected based on the analysis of traffic lane characteristics. The main concept of the selected method was to minimize the maintenance cost. The effective width of traffic lane in this method was 70 cm of each wheel path. According to the traffic survey conducted in this research, more than 95% of vehicles passed within the width of each wheel path. The new preventive optimized-rehabilitation area method showed less maintenance cost than the conventional overlay. In addition, traffic congestions and the user cost can be reduced. The research results revealed that the total maintenance cost was reduced by 35% by using the new method compare to the conventional one.

  • 외식, 단체급식의 증가 등으로 인하여 식중독의 발생이 날로 대형화, 다양화되어 갈 것으로 전망됨에 따라 식품에 대한 철저한 위생관리가 요구되고 있다.식품의 안전성을 확보하기 위한 위생관리 제도로 국제적으로 인식되고 있는 HACCP(hazard analysis critical control point)란 식품원료의 생산단계에서부터 시작하여 제조.가공, 보존, 유통.판매를 통하여 최종적으로 소비자가 섭취할 때까지의 모든 단계에서 발생할 우려가 있는 생물학적, 화학적, 물리적 위해요소에 대해 조사.분석하고, 각 위해요소에 대한 방지 방법을 구축하여 계획적으로 감시.관리함으로써 제품의 안전성을 사전에 확보하고자 하는 체계적인 관리방법이다. HACCP 계획은 위해요소 분석, 중요관리점 결정, 한계기준 설정, 모니터링 방법 확립, 개선조치 방법 확립, 검증절차 확립, 기록 유지 및 문서화 방법 확립의 과정을 거쳐개발되며, 최종제품을 검사하는 기존의 사후 관리적 방식과는 달리 HACCP는 중요관리점을 확인하고 모니터링 함으로써 최종제품의 위생안전성을 담보하는 예방적 관리방법이다. 1960년대 미국 항공우주국(NASA)에서 우주비행사들의 우주식에 대한 안전성을 확보하기 위한 연구에서 시작된 HACCP는 현재 세계 각국에서 식품의 안전성을 보증하는 과학적이고 체계적인 관리제도로 평가받고 있다.

  • 재해의 발생 빈도 증가와 불규칙성, 대형화 추세에 따른 SOC 시설물 피해가 증가함에 따라 유관 기관의 재난/재해 정보 수집은 지속적으로 이루어지고 있다. 그러나 각 기관별로 자료가 분산 관리됨에 따라 선제적 재해대응 체계는 갖추어지지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 이에, 예방적 유지관리체계 구현을 위한 분산정보 공유형 재해대응 인벤토리를 구축하고자 한다. 본 인벤토리는 3차원 공간정보를 기반으로 분산 관리되고 있는 재난/재해 관련 정보를 수집하고 이렇게 수집된 데이터들의 통합적 관리를 위해 데이터 표준화를 거쳐 선제적 재해 대응의 원천 데이터로 활용될 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 인벤토리 관리/연계 모듈의 설계 방안을 마련하고자 국내외 인벤토리 관련 시스템 현황조사를 진행하고 관리 및 연계 대상 데이터의 항목을 선정하고 내용을 분류하였다. 또한, 시스템 요구사항을 수집하고 정의하고 관리/연계 모듈의 세부기능 정의를 하였다. 뿐만아니라, 프로토타입 개발을 위해 서비스 제공 형태와 데이터 제공 방식을 결정하였다. 본 연구에서 개발하고 있는 프로토타입은 Web Service 기반의 REST 방식으로 데이터를 제공할 것이며, 3차원 공간 정보를 기반으로 하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 프로토타입 개발을 위해 기본 주재도를 제작하고 연구 지역의 시설물 정보를 구축하였다. 분산정보 공유형 재해대응 인벤토리 시스템은 분산 관리되고 있는 재난/재해 정보들을 자료 송/수신 모듈을 통하여 수집하고 데이터 필터링 모듈에서 수집된 자료의 표준화와 품질측정을 진행하여 데이터의 신뢰도를 향상 시킬 것이다. 또한, 데이터 관리 모듈을 이용하여 공간정보 데이터를 검증하고 최적화 관리를 할 수 있도록 하며, 시스템 관리 모듈에서 유관기관에서 유입되는 자료들을 관리하고자 한다. 이렇게 구축된 인벤토리 시스템은 선제적 재해대응 의사결정의 원천 데이터를 제공하고 SOC 시설물의 유지관리에 활용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

  • In this paper, a more practical and realistic method is proposed to establish the lifetime optimum maintenance strategies of the deteriorating bridges considering the life-cycle performance as well as life-cycle cost. The genetic algorithm is applied to generate the set of maintenance scenarios that is the multi-objective combinatorial optimization problem related to lifetime performance and cost as separate objective functions, and the technique to select optimum tradeoff maintenance scenario is presented. Optimum maintenance scenarios could be generated not only at the individual member level but also at the system level of the bridge. Through the analytical results of applying the proposed methodology to the existing bridge, it is expected that the methodology will be effectively used to determine the optimum maintenance strategy for introducing a real preventive maintenance system and overcoming the limits of existing maintenance methods.

  • The purpose of current tunnel maintenance system in South Korea is safety-based maintenance system for accident prevention, So it is difficult to conduct a strategic maintenance. The development of a new maintenance system can lead to effective investment of limited financial and it's effort is still in progress. In this study, to develop a performance-based assessment method, indexes for assessment are derived taking into account the safety, durability and serviceability. The indexes for performance-based assessment were selected by a literature analysis and a delphi survey. Then the importance among indexes were calculated by the AHP analysis.

  • The purpose of this study was to find out whether the cognitive function, depression, and health promotion lifestyle changes are maintained or improved through the dementia prevention program when applying the dementia prevention program along with the daily life management program to the elderly with mild cognitive impairment. The study was conducted from April 1 to August 9, 2019, and 30 elderly people with mild cognitive impairment who participated in the dementia prevention program at the Dementia Safty Center in Seoul were studied. The study found that cognitive function (MMSE-DS) and health promotion lifestyle (HPLP-II) were maintained and improved compared to control groups in the experimental group that voluntarily implemented daily life management programs along with dementia prevention programs, and that depression (SF-GDS) decreased. Therefore, based on the results of this study, in future studies, we hope to develop a variety of voluntary daily life management programs to maintain and improve the effectiveness of the dementia prevention program for a long period of time. I hope that the prospective study will be done.

  • 교통사고 예방뿐만 아니라 범세계적인 협력이 필요한 탄소배출 감축과 직결되어 있는 타이어의 '적정 공기압 유지 관리'라는 최근 그 중요성과 필요성이 날로 커지고 있으나, 운전자들의 타이어 공기압 관리에 대한 의식은 저조한 실정이다. 이러한 상황에서 타이어 적정공기압과 관련한 범국민적인 안전의식 제고를 기대할 수 있는 캠페인이 지식경제부에서 주관하고 대한타이어공업협회 및 에너지관리공단을 비롯한 관련 기관과 업체들이 참여하여 향후 6개월간 대대적으로 추진될 계획이다.
