This paper, therefore, analyzes the film, , by focusing on the dramatic function of narrative space. This film provides insights and thoughts through deep philosophical reflection, by escaping from the convention of such a genre, through deep philosophical reflection, by escaping from the convention of such a genre, though it belongs seemingly to the crime thriller genre using Mexico's drug cartel as it main material. In the film, narrative spaces are responsible for emotions invoking dramatic tensions beyond provocative incidents and the elaborately planned and controlled mise-en-scene absorbed audiences' attention by organizing ultimate suspense. In conclusion, flow and dramatic lingering imagery of this film might be achieved by power of scenes rather than plot factors. This study thus explained the correlation between narrative spaces and dramatic immersion, by analyzing spaces appearing in and visualized construction. It is hoped that this will further extends the pattern of researches on dramatic immersion, which have been primarily focused on plots and characters.

  • Argument on the postmodernism of philosophy and history, epic and effect, and culture and art is becoming more ambiguous in scope due to digital technology development. Digital technology makes to change of aesthetic approach over the length and breadth of art and culture including medium art. Analysis of Digital images is changed from presence of images to feature analysis of images which is made by digital technology, and raise the question of how to analyze the images of reproducing digital technology focused on realism. Digital image, focused on hyper reality, should be approached not by film aesthetic approach but by shot unit. Due to emphasizes image reality reproduction by frame unit and not the short unit of the narrative approach, the artistic approach should differ from previous realism practice. Particularly, when considering movies which is focused on illusion, the realistic approach should be realized not in the of realistic approach in narrative aspect but in the aspect of realistic approach in painting aspect.

Music is intertwined with language and culture, and even with ethics. This study focuses on the potential power of film music in the processes of teaching and learning in a classroom. For this purpose, five songs are selected from the soundtrack of Disney's famous animation The Lion King: "Circle of life", "I just can't wait to be king", "Be prepared", "Hakuna Matata", and "Can you feel the love tonight?", and concrete learning activities are suggested based on these. Using these five songs, gap-filling and singing-recoding tasks are proposed as listening and speaking activities respectively. Film music is also very useful in learning vocabulary, sentence structure, and grammar. Learners participate in a writing activity involving creating their own lyrics for the tunes reflecting their experiences. Next, for culture education, a teacher asks their students to discuss about, and be aware of, food culture using a specific character's song. Finally, for ethics education, a philosophy of life, natural logic, leadership qualities, and the motto Hakuna Matata("no worries") are explored and discussed through an analysis of the lyrics. The open-ended questionnaire survey is conducted. The result shows that music has a positive effect on culture and ethics education. Film music can be effective in learning a second language, target culture, and ethics.

In the study, his pieces of piano music among his works, which formed the basis for his music, were analyzed. The study examined stylistic characteristics, that is techniques of various types including form, melody, harmony, tonality, rhythm and structure, and introduced the composer's growth in terms of music and philosophical background. Muczynski, the composer who showed the characteristics of neoclassicism, neoromanticism and neobaroque in contrast to the various forms of the $20^{th}$ music, namely music of free styles including atonal music, twelve-tone technique, avant-garde music and electronic music, used traditional forms. However, the characteristics of his works are very free. In addition, in the 1960s, he participated in the production of documentary movie music, creating very creative and sensational music. Muczynski's music has the features of tonality and shows neoclassic and neoromantic features including economical idea, lyrical melody, bitonality and nine-note scale. His music, therefore, is being evaluated as very creative and valuable and is largely significant in that it has provided a good basis for the development of modern movie music and jazz music today.

  • A Japanese director Sion Sono(園子溫, born in 1961), who is not so familiar to us yet, has been depicting the world of violence and sexuality filled with poetic and philosophical messages through the shockingly impressive works such as Strange Circus(2005), Love Exposure(2008), Cold Fish(2010), Guilty of Romance(2011), and so forth after the great success of Suicide Circle(2001) and its second film Noriko's Dinner Table(2005). In addition to these, he has also presented a kind of realistic visions in much more direct ways by Himizu(2011) or Land of Hope(2013) after 3 11 disaster. The purpose of this paper is to try a psychoanalytic interpretation of Sion Sono's film, centering on his Guilty of Romance(愛のむきだし), in terms of the concepts of Jacques Lacan(1901-1981), for example, gaze, objet petit a, fantasy, desire, the imaginary-the symbolic-the real, jouissance, etc. In so doing, this paper will pay special attention to the discourse of love on one hand, exploring the way how to show any new perspective to the religious studies by reading film and religion in association with Lacan on the other hand.
