영어 교육 시장이 증대되면서 영어 학습을 효과적으로 지원하는 다양한 학습 시스템들이 개발되고 있다. 영어문장을 구성하는 기본적인 단위는 어휘로 문장 전체의 의미를 파악하기 위해서는 어휘의 의미를 이해하는 것이 필수적이다. 따라서 영어 어휘 능력 향상을 위한 다양한 영어 어휘 학습 시스템들이 개발되고 있으나, 어휘가 사용되는 문맥을 고려하거나 동시에 학습하면 효과적인 어휘 등 어휘 학습에 효과적인 교수학습 방법의 원리가 적용된 영어 어휘 학습 시스템에 대한 연구는 미비한 상황이다. 본 논문에서는 n 개의 영어 단어가 하나의 그룹으로 동시에 제시되면서 그 n개의 영어 단어가 모두 포함된 예문을 제공하는 지능형 영어 어휘 학습 시스템을 설계한다. 임의로 n 개의 영어 어휘가 주어졌을 경우 문맥에 맞게 영어 예문을 자동으로 생성하는 지능형 영어 문장 생성 모델이 본 연구의 핵심이다. 또한, 어휘 능력 평가에서 기존 어휘 학습 시스템과 같이 단순히 어휘를 얼마나 암기하고 있는지에 대한 평과 결과만을 제시하는 것이 아니라, 그룹별 취약 어휘 분석을 통해 효과적인 그룹 어휘 선택 규칙을 파악할 수 있는 기반을 마련하고자 한다. 본 논문에서 제안한 지능형 영어 어휘 학습 시스템을 통해 영어 어휘 학습자들의 학습 능력 향상에 도움이 될 것으로 기대한다.

The study aimed to investigate what difficulties and needs North Korean refugee college students have in their college English programs and what they experience over an English tutoring program offered by pre-service English teachers. Before the tutoring started, a survey was conducted to examine the current difficulties and needs 100 NK refugee college students had. After the survey, six NK refugee college students and 12 pre-service English teachers participated in the tutoring on the voluntary basis. The survey questionnaires were analyzed statistically, and the effects of the tutoring program were analyzed qualitatively. The results show that NK refugee students reported the severe difficulties in learning English, their increased awareness of the slightly improved English skills over the tutoring program, the increased awareness of their affects, and the increased awareness of their linguistics development at the end of the tutoring. Pedagogical implications for supporting NK refugee college students are discussed.

The aim of this study is to determine the relationship between variables affecting learning effect and flow experience on an e-Learning English program. There are 4 independent variables; English thinking structure, self-efficacy in English and flow. The results are as follows: Firstly, there is statistically significant positive correlation between each variable of English thinking structure, pre English skill, self-efficacy in English, flow and learning effect. Secondly, it appeared that flow was affected by all three variables of English thinking structure, pre-English skill and self-efficacy in English. Also flow experience affected learning improvement. Finally, it is verified that there is a mediating effect of flow experience on the relation of self-efficacy in English and learning effect.

이 연구는 자기조절학습전략 활용 과제기반언어학습을 영어수업에 적용한 후 학업성취도와 영어 학습태도 차원에서 그 효과성을 규명하고자 하였다. 먼저 학습자의 능동적인 학습과정을 도울 수 있는 자기조절학습전략 활용 과제기반언어 교수 학습 모형을 도출하였다. 이어서 초등영어 5학년 정규교육과정운영 틀에서 자기조절학습전략 활용 과제기반언어학습 수업을 설계하고 실제 적용하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 자기조절학습전략 활용 과제기반언어학습은 학업성취 상위, 중위, 하위 집단에 따른 학업성취도 변화에 대한 분석 결과 학업성취 상위집단과 하위집단 간에 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 둘째, 자기조절학습전략 활용 과제기반언 어학습은 영어에 대한 자아개념, 영어에 대한 태도, 영어에 대한 학습 습관으로 정의된 영어 학습태도의 모든 영역에서 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 자기조절학습전략 활용 과제기반언어학습은 학습자 중심 교육이라는 초등영어교육 추세를 고려할 때 교육현장에 유용하므로 자기조절학습력과 실제적 의사소통능력에 초점을 둔 보다 다양한 교수설계 연구가 요청된다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of group co-learning on English reading ability and motivation and the change in group co-learning perception after planning and applying a group co-study class program that can be applied in university liberal arts English class. In order to achieve this goal, the experiment team (34 students) conducted the class from September 2 to December 13, 2019 for 62 freshmen who participated in the compulsory liberal arts English class at the four-year university in North Chungcheong Province, and the control team (28 students) conducted the class as a typical lecture class based on the basis of cooperative learning. The English proficiency of the learners was approached by dividing the area of academic proficiency into English reading skills and the area of justice into English reading motivations. The pre-experimental learners' English reading skills were measured by excerpting the national level educational achievement assessment (high 2). The research results are as follows. First, it was shown that the English reading ability score of a group that applied group cooperative learning and the English reading ability score of a group that did not apply group cooperative learning were statistically significant differences. Second, there was a difference between the English reading motivation score of the group applying the convocation group cooperative learning and the English reading motivation score of the group not applied. Third, the change in the perception of groups applying the convocation group cooperative learning occurred before and after the experiment. This study found that the awareness of English reading, English reading motivation, and cooperative learning increased through cooperative learning among university students during liberal arts English classes, which has a positive effect on self-identity and so on.

영어 교육 시장 확대로 다양한 영어 학습 시스템이 개발되고 있다. 그러나 어휘의 문맥적 이해와 효과적인 학습 방법을 결합한 지능형 어휘 학습 시스템에 대한 연구는 미비하다. 본 연구에서는 임의의 n 개 영어 단어가 한 그룹으로 제시되고, 이들을 모두 포함한 예문을 제공하는 지능형 영어 어휘 학습 시스템을 개발한다. 본 연구에서는 임의의 n 개 영어 단어가 주어졌을 때 문맥에 맞는 영어 예문을 자동으로 생성하는 모델을 개발하였다. 어휘 평가를 바탕으로 자동으로 취약 어휘를 선정하며 학습자들이 해당 어휘를 학습 할 수 있도록 진행한다. 본 연구에서 개발한 지능형 영어 어휘 학습 시스템의 사용성 평가를 위해 설문 검사를 실시하였다. 설문 결과는 문맥 및 어휘 그룹 기반의 지능형 영어 학습 시스템은 사용자들이 사용하기 편리하고 어휘 능력을 향상시키는데 도움이 될 수 있음을 보여준다.

본 연구는 대학 영어 교육에 다양한 멀티미디어를 활용함과 더불어, 온라인 학습관리시스템을 영어교육에 접목시킴으로써 상호 작용과 학습공동체 활동을 강조하는 다양한 기능들이 대학생들의 영어 학습태도와 결과에 어떠한 영향을 끼쳤는지를 알아보고자 하였다. 연구결과에 따르면 다양한 멀티미디어의 활용과 온라인 학습관리 시스템의 기능과 활동들을 통한 대학 영어수업이 학생들에게 영어수업에 대한 관심과 흥미를 높이고 보다 효과적으로 영어를 학습할 수 있는 경험을 제공해주었다고 할 수 있다.

The elementary school English Education Course consists of four integrated aspects of language (Listen, Speak, Read, Write) used to develop skills for daily communication in English. yet the 6th Grade English Education Curriculum focuses almost exclusively on sentence completion through copying and "fill-in-the-blank" exercises. Further, these activities are insufficient time to develop literacy skills. Additionally, the curriculum's emphasis on memorization within the written component is very time consuming for students, leading many to develop negative opinions of the written aspect of a comprehensive understanding of English. This thesis attempts to address each these problems through development of a web-based Learning Model for Cooperative Writing in English. The study resulted in three observations. First, this model overcame limitations of the current teaching model in schools. Second, students expressed more interest in the experimental model than in the current curriculum and standard pedagogical methods. Finally, the study demonstrated that improvement of English literacy is indeed possible using the model presented here.

영어 공인 시험에서 영어 어휘는 가장 중요한 요소 중 하나이다. 그러나 기존 영어 어휘 학습 시스템은 단순히 어휘 교재의 콘텐츠를 디지털화한 것에 그치고 있다. 영어 어휘 학습에서 동의어에 대한 학습은 언어 능력을 향상시키고 다양한 상황에서 효과적으로 의사소통할 수 있는 능력 향상에 도움이 된다. 본 연구에서는 학습자들이 영어 어휘 학습을 효과적으로 할 수 있도록 동의어 및 반의어를 활용할 수 있는 학습 시스템을 제안한다. 본 시스템은 동의어와 반의어에 대한 정보가 필요한 영어 어휘를 입력으로 받아 생성형 AI에서 동의어 및 반의어에 대한 정보를 생성한 후에 반환하는 기능을 수행한다. 본 시스템은 학습자들이 어휘 평가에서 오답으로 답한 어휘에 대해 동의어 및 반의어에 대한 추가적인 어휘와 예문을 제공하여 영어 어휘 학습의 효율성을 높일 수 있을 것이다.

This paper summarizes findings from investigations into the development and application of English bible study materials for middle school students in two local churches in Seoul, Korea. Six pre-service Christian English teachers have participated in the development of the materials. After the application of the new materials, the pre-service teachers' and bible study teachers' perception of the new materials have been investigated. To analyze the data, the pre-service teachers and bible study teachers were interviewed. The interview data was recorded, transcribed and analyzed based on content analysis method. The findings indicated that the pre-service teachers' church service learning gave them a sense of satisfaction and it also helped them develop professionalism in teacher education. To both the pre-service teachers and bible study teachers, keeping balance between bible teaching and English teaching was found to be a difficult task. The fact that the themes in the new materials are closely related to the lives of the students has been positively evaluated by the bible study teachers.
