This study concerns the constraints of English Poetic Fixed Meter. In English poems, the metrical pattern doesn't always match the linguistic stress on the lines. These mismatches are found differently among the poets. For the lexical stress mismatched with the weak metrical position, ${\ast}W{\Rightarrow}$ Strength is established by the concept of the strong syllable. The peaked monosyllabic word mismatched with weak metrical position is divided according to which side of the boundary of a phonological domain it is adjacent to. In most poets, ${\ast}$Peak] is ranked higher than ${\ast}$[Peak. In Shakespeare, Adjacency Constraint is ranked higher than ${\ast}$Peak].

This study aims to define the isochronism of English feet. 275 feet, which consist of 66 lines of 13 poems written by 12 modem poets(The Poet Speaks, 1982), were used for analysis of durational measurement. To assess the average value of a foot, the study is, first, to set up a way of measuring the duration of each foot on its types in English meter. Secondly, with the measurement of the average duration of feet in modern poets' English poetries through Praat (version 4.119, 2003), it clarifies the foot isochronism in the fixed meter. With the two ways of measuring the isochronism, it clarifies the fact the foot isochronism permits the difference scope of the perceptive gap of 555.4-974.5msec. per foot in case of iambic meters in English poetry.

"정박지"라 함은 기본적인 수역시설의 하나로 선박이 정박할 수 있는 장소로 선박들은 이곳에 투묘함으로써 법적, 물리적 보호를 받게 된다. 정박지는 해당 항만에 입 출항 대기 또는 작업대기 등의 목적을 위해 해당항만에서 지정 고시하여 운영하고 있다. 하지만, 마산항의 정박지의 경우 비상정박지를 제외하고는 흘수 6m이상의 선박이 투묘 대기할 수 있는 정박지가 부재하다. 이런 사정으로 현재 마산항 입항대기 선박 및 작업대기 선박들의 경우 지정된 정박지가 아닌 잠정 정박지와 관습적 정박지에 투묘대기하고 있는 실정이다. 이로 인해 선박 및 관제사 모두 법적, 물리적 보호를 받지 못하고 있다. 따라서 본 조사는 마산항의 현황파악을 통해 항만 운영, 관제운영 및 이용자 측면에서 마산항의 정박지 추가 필요성에 대한 내용을 검토하여 "마산항의 정박지 지정에 관한 연구"의 기초자료로 이용하고자 한다.

본 논문은 3상 NPC형 3-레벨 인버터를 영시퀀스 주입에 의한 SVPWM방식에 고조파의 특성이 가장 우수하다고 알려진PD(phase disposition)방식의 멀티 캐리어 방식을 적용하였다. 구현된 NPC형 3-레벨 인버터는 전 영역에서 동작할 수 있도록 구현하여, 각 영역에 따른 고조파 및 THD를 분석하였다. 일반적은로 NPC형 3-레벨 인버터는 2-레벨 인버터에 비해 동일 변조비에서 고조파의 특성이 우수 한 것으로 알려졌다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 변조비에 따른 고조파의 분포 이중 푸리에 시리즈를 통해 분석하였고, 이를 시뮬레이션을 통하여 검증하였다.

The system start-up function of TDX-1A that should be executed during installation or emergency has been designed to meet requirements of the distributed real time control system. It is performed in a centralized manner by the dedicated processor according to the maintenance and administration mechanism of the system. Upon execution, it provides information on the system state for the ESS personal. In additions, it protects the loss the charging and statistics data, and minimizes the effect on the customer service. This paper describes the design concept of the system startup function and its implementation method and also calculates its the execution time.

It is hot issue to get the competitiveness of product through reliability-growth as well as availability and safety in almost high-technology industry including military, chemistry, nuclear, telecommunication, transportation service and so on. In advanced countries, they experienced remarkable growth based on reliability technology in materials&parts industry as well as high-tech industry. It has become a symbol of national competitiveness and created a higher value added. This paper is taking on effectively developing ways to deploy IEC 60300 dependability management system and the base technology that are needed to improve competitiveness of industries in Korea.

In this paper, we address a novel system-level power management technique which is specifically targeted for an ARM 11 MPCore system. Our proposed solution is a DPM technique which includes process monitoring, real time power analysis, and policy application to reduce the power consumption while meeting the performance requirement. One of the main contributions of this paper is that we systematically infer QoS requirements of processes without getting any additional information from the application. When multiple processes are running under various user level policies, priorities of the policy application are determined in such a way that the overall system performance is maintained while power consumption is effectively managed. Experimental results show that our DPM technique is very effective in reducing power consumption without violating system's QoS requirements.

This study explored pre-service English teachers' participation in the development of a rubric and examined evaluation of their own English poetry. The current study would investigate: 1) the pre-service English teachers' perception as a rubric developer and self-evaluator, 2) the number of analytic area that the participants included in their rubrics and the scoring scheme that they designed in their rubrics, and 3) the inter-rater differences between self-assessemnt and expert-assessment across analytic areas. Twenty-four EFL learners participated in the current study. The researchers analyzed the learners' own English poetry, their field notes which contained the process of their writing, their rubrics, scores of self-assessment, and expert raters' scores. The results revealed that learners showed positive responses on learner-directed assessment, that 'content' is the most important area, and that inter-rater difference is small across all analytic areas.

PAF and $^*UV$] are suggested for the mismatched peak which are not adjacent to the boundary of a phonological domain ; $^*Peak$] and BT for the mismatched peak which are adjacent to the boundary of a phonological domain. For the lexical stress mismatched with the weak metrical position, $^*W{\;}{\Rightarrow}{\;}Strength$ is set up by the concept of the strong syllable. $MPS{\;}{\Rightarrow}{\;}\Phi_{max}$ for the metrical position size can replace the resolution which is used to control the number of syllables in English poems. These constraints show the different hierarchies among the poets.

These constraints are various according to the poets (Pope, Milton and Shakespeare) : /sup */[Peak [-stress], /sup */W⇒ Strength and /sup */Peak] in Pope; /sup */[+stress][Peak[-stress] and /sup */Peak] in Milton; /sup */[ +stress][Peak[-stress], /sup */W⇒Strength and Adjacency ConstraintⅡ in Shakespeare.
