Surface properties on ion beam irradiated polycarbonate (이온주입에 의한 폴리카보네이트의 표면특성 조사)

  • 폴리카보네이트는 내열성과 투명성이 우수한데 비해 내후성이 좋지 않아 황변 및 물성이 저하되고, 내찰상성이 약하여 긁히기 쉬운데다 이물질에 의해 오염되기 쉬워 투명성이 저하되는 문제점이 있다. 이러한 단점을 극복하고, 사용하는 용도에 따라 요구되는 다양한 기능성을 부여하기 위하여 폴리카보네이트 표면에 기능성층을 형성시킴으로써 그 목적을 달성하고자 한다. 본 논문에서는 이온 주입기술을 이용하여, 폴리카보네이트 표면의 전기전도도 특성을 향상시키고, 피부암 및 백내장 등을 유발하는 유해한 자외선 (UV-A, UV-B)을 차단하려 한다. 표면전기전도도의 향상은 이물질로부터 오염되는 정도를 낮추며, 정전기를 방지할 수 있다. PC(Polycarbonate) 표면에 $N^+,\;Ar^+,\;Kr^+,\;Xe^+$ 이온을 에너지 20keV에서 50keV을 사용하여, 주입량 $5{\times}10^{15}\;{\sim}\7{\times}10^{16}\cm^2$ 로 조사하였다. 이온 주입된 PC의 표면을 두 접점 방법의 표면 저항 측정으로 표면전기전도도 특성을 알아보았고, 자외선차단 특성은 UV-Vis 로 분석하였다. 이들 전기적 광학적 특성간의 상관관계를 관찰하고, 이러한 특성을 나타내는 화학적 기능그룹들의 변화를 보기 위해 FTIR 분석법으로 관찰하였다. 이온조사량의 증가에 따라 표면저항은 $10^7{\Omega}/sq$까지 감소하여 표면전기특성을 증가시키며, 자외선 차단 특성은 UV-A를 95%까지 차단하여 인체에 유해한 자외선 차단에 유용함을 확인하였다. 이러한 특성은 PC 표면에 카본 네트워크 형성과 $\pi$전자들의 운동량을 증가시키는 구조로 고분자 사슬들의 결합구조 변형에 의한 것으로 생각된다.블을 가지고 파서를 설계하였다. 파서의 출력으로 AST가 생성되면 번역기는 AST를 탐색하면서 의미적으로 동등한 MSIL 코드를 생성하도록 시스템을 컴파일러 기법을 이용하여 모듈별로 구성하였다.적용하였다.n rate compared with conventional face recognition algorithms. 아니라 실내에서도 발생하고 있었다. 정량한 8개 화합물 각각과 총 휘발성 유기화합물의 스피어만 상관계수는 벤젠을 제외하고는 모두 유의하였다. 이중 톨루엔과 크실렌은 총 휘발성 유기화합물과 좋은 상관성 (톨루엔 0.76, 크실렌, 0.87)을 나타내었다. 이 연구는 톨루엔과 크실렌이 총 휘발성 유기화합물의 좋은 지표를 사용될 있고, 톨루엔, 에틸벤젠, 크실렌 등 많은 휘발성 유기화합물의 발생원은 실외뿐 아니라 실내에도 있음을 나타내고 있다.>10)의 $[^{18}F]F_2$를 얻었다. 결론: $^{18}O(p,n)^{18}F$ 핵반응을 이용하여 친전자성 방사성동위원소 $[^{18}F]F_2$를 생산하였다. 표적 챔버는 알루미늄으로 제작하였으며 본 연구에서 연구된 $[^{18}F]F_2$가스는 친핵성 치환반응으로 방사성동위원소를 도입하기 어려운 다양한 방사성의 약품개발에 유용하게 이용될 수 있을 것이다.었으나 움직임 보정 후 영상을 이용하여 비교한 경우, 결합능 변화가 선조체 영역에서 국한되어 나타나며 그 유의성이 움직임 보정 전에 비하여 낮음을 알 수 있었다. 결론: 뇌활성화 과제 수행시에 동반되는 피험자의 머리 움직임에 의하여 도파민 유리가 과대평가되었으며 이는 이 연구에서 제안한 영상정합을 이용한 움직임 보정기법에 의해서 개선되었다. 답이 없는 문제, 문제 만들기, 일반화가 가능한 문제 등으

Development of an Offline Based Internal Organ Motion Verification System during Treatment Using Sequential Cine EPID Images (연속촬영 전자조사 문 영상을 이용한 오프라인 기반 치료 중 내부 장기 움직임 확인 시스템의 개발)

  • Verification of internal organ motion during treatment and its feedback is essential to accurate dose delivery to the moving target. We developed an offline based internal organ motion verification system (IMVS) using cine EPID images and evaluated its accuracy and availability through phantom study. For verification of organ motion using live cine EPID images, a pattern matching algorithm using an internal surrogate, which is very distinguishable and represents organ motion in the treatment field, like diaphragm, was employed in the self-developed analysis software. For the system performance test, we developed a linear motion phantom, which consists of a human body shaped phantom with a fake tumor in the lung, linear motion cart, and control software. The phantom was operated with a motion of 2 cm at 4 sec per cycle and cine EPID images were obtained at a rate of 3.3 and 6.6 frames per sec (2 MU/frame) with $1,024{\times}768$ pixel counts in a linear accelerator (10 MVX). Organ motion of the target was tracked using self-developed analysis software. Results were compared with planned data of the motion phantom and data from the video image based tracking system (RPM, Varian, USA) using an external surrogate in order to evaluate its accuracy. For quantitative analysis, we analyzed correlation between two data sets in terms of average cycle (peak to peak), amplitude, and pattern (RMS, root mean square) of motion. Averages for the cycle of motion from IMVS and RPM system were $3.98{\pm}0.11$ (IMVS 3.3 fps), $4.005{\pm}0.001$ (IMVS 6.6 fps), and $3.95{\pm}0.02$ (RPM), respectively, and showed good agreement on real value (4 sec/cycle). Average of the amplitude of motion tracked by our system showed $1.85{\pm}0.02$ cm (3.3 fps) and $1.94{\pm}0.02$ cm (6.6 fps) as showed a slightly different value, 0.15 (7.5% error) and 0.06 (3% error) cm, respectively, compared with the actual value (2 cm), due to time resolution for image acquisition. In analysis of pattern of motion, the value of the RMS from the cine EPID image in 3.3 fps (0.1044) grew slightly compared with data from 6.6 fps (0.0480). The organ motion verification system using sequential cine EPID images with an internal surrogate showed good representation of its motion within 3% error in a preliminary phantom study. The system can be implemented for clinical purposes, which include organ motion verification during treatment, compared with 4D treatment planning data, and its feedback for accurate dose delivery to the moving target.

Improvement of 2-pass DInSAR-based DEM Generation Method from TanDEM-X bistatic SAR Images (TanDEM-X bistatic SAR 영상의 2-pass 위성영상레이더 차분간섭기법 기반 수치표고모델 생성 방법 개선)

  • The 2-pass DInSAR (Differential Interferometric SAR) processing steps for DEM generation consist of the co-registration of SAR image pair, interferogram generation, phase unwrapping, calculation of DEM errors, and geocoding, etc. It requires complicated steps, and the accuracy of data processing at each step affects the performance of the finally generated DEM. In this study, we developed an improved method for enhancing the performance of the DEM generation method based on the 2-pass DInSAR technique of TanDEM-X bistatic SAR images was developed. The developed DEM generation method is a method that can significantly reduce both the DEM error in the unwrapped phase image and that may occur during geocoding step. The performance analysis of the developed algorithm was performed by comparing the vertical accuracy (Root Mean Square Error, RMSE) between the existing method and the newly proposed method using the ground control point (GCP) generated from GPS survey. The vertical accuracy of the DInSAR-based DEM generated without correction for the unwrapped phase error and geocoding error is 39.617 m. However, the vertical accuracy of the DEM generated through the proposed method is 2.346 m. It was confirmed that the DEM accuracy was improved through the proposed correction method. Through the proposed 2-pass DInSAR-based DEM generation method, the SRTM DEM error observed by DInSAR was compensated for the SRTM 30 m DEM (vertical accuracy 5.567 m) used as a reference. Through this, it was possible to finally create a DEM with improved spatial resolution of about 5 times and vertical accuracy of about 2.4 times. In addition, the spatial resolution of the DEM generated through the proposed method was matched with the SRTM 30 m DEM and the TanDEM-X 90m DEM, and the vertical accuracy was compared. As a result, it was confirmed that the vertical accuracy was improved by about 1.7 and 1.6 times, respectively, and more accurate DEM generation was possible with the proposed method. If the method derived in this study is used to continuously update the DEM for regions with frequent morphological changes, it will be possible to update the DEM effectively in a short time at low cost.

  • Recently, rapid urbanization has necessitated continuous updates in digital map to provide the latest and accurate information for users. However, conventional aerial photogrammetry has some restrictions on periodic updates of small areas due to high cost, and as-built drawing also brings some problems with maintaining quality. Alternatively, this paper proposes a scheme for efficient and accurate update of digital map using point cloud data acquired by Terrestrial Laser Scanner (TLS). Initially, from the whole point cloud data, the building sides are extracted and projected onto a 2D image to trace out the 2D building footprints. In order to register the footprint extractions on the digital map, 2D Affine model is used. For Affine parameter estimation, the centroids of each footprint groups are randomly chosen and matched by means of a modified RANSAC algorithm. Based on proposed algorithm, the experimental results showed that it is possible to renew digital map using building footprint extracted from TLS data.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to evaluate the image acquisition ability of intraoral scanners by analyzing the comprehensiveness of scanned images from standardized model, and to identify problems of the model. Materials and Methods: Cast models and 3D-printed models were prepared according to international standards set by ISO12836 and ANSI/ADA no. 132, which were then scanned by model scanner and two different intraoral scanners (TRIOS3 and CS3500). The image acquisition performance of the scanners was classified into three grades, and the study was repeated with varying surface conditions of the models. Results: Model scanner produced the most accurate images in all models. Meanwhile, CS3500 showed good image reproducibility for angled structures and TRIOS3 showed good image reproducibility for rounded structures. As for model ingredients, improved plaster model best reproduced scan images regardless of the type of scanner used. When limited to 3D-printed model, powdered surface condition resulted in higher image quality. Conclusion: When scanning structures beyond FOV (field of view) in standardized models (following ISO12836 and ANSI/ADA 132), lack of reference points to help distinguish different faces confuses the scanning and matching process, resulting in inaccurate display of images. These results imply the need to develop a new standard model not confined to simple pattern repetition and symmetric structure.

  • Visualization techniques are transformed into reliable representations through socio-technological processes which include the agreement on the instrument and the embodiment of practices in relevant scientific communities. Visual representations thus produced are justified by realistic and epistemic virtues in science. This paper analyzes different visual images presented in the scientific papers of two research groups who argue different theories about the mechanism of face perception. These two scientific groups use the same fMRI technology; yet, different experimental paradigms and visual stimuli change their hypotheses into distinct testable theories, which in turn lead to different evidences to support their own theories. Visual evidences are intermediate representations which lie between fMRI brain images and scientific theories, and theoretical models obtain the scientific value based on the consistency in the chain of visual representations. This study shows that representations in science tend to be good representations within the context of scientific communities. It will provide a chance to think of the value and limit of the scientific knowledge

  • A high performance object recognition algorithm using Fourier description of the 3D information of the objects is proposed. Object boundaries contain sufficient information for recognition in most of objects. However, it is not well utilized as the key solution of the object recognition since obtaining the accurate boundary information is not easy. Also, object boundaries vary highly depending on the size or orientation of object. The proposed object recognition algorithm is based on 1) the accurate object boundaries extracted from the 3D shape which is obtained by the laser scan device, and 2) reduction of the required database using the size and rotational invariant feature of the Fourier Descriptor. Such Fourier information is compared with the database and the recognition is done by selecting the best matching object. The experiments have been done on the rich database of MPEG 7 Part B.

Accuracy Evaluation of Pre- and Post-treatment Setup Errors in CBCT-based Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT) for Lung Tumor (CBCT 기반 폐 종양 정위 신체 방사선 요법(SBRT)에서 치료 전·후 set up 에러의 정확도 평가)

  • Since SBRT takes up to 1 hour from 30 minutes to treatment fraction once or three to five times, there is a possibility of setup error during treatment. To reduce these set-up errors and give accurate doses, we intend to evaluate the usefulness of pre-treatment and post-treatment error values by imaging CBCT again to determine postural movement due to pre-treatment coordinate values using pre-treatment CBCT. On average, the range of systematic errors was 0.032 to 0.17 on the X and Y,Z axes, confirming that there was very little change in movement even after treatment. Tumor centripetal changes (±SD) due to respiratory tuning were 0.11 (±0.12) cm, 0.27 (±0.15) cm, and 0.21 cm (±0.31 cm) in the X, Y and Z directions. The tumor edges ±SD were 0.21 (±0.18) cm, 0.30 (±0.23) cm, and 0.19 cm (±0.26) cm in the X, Y and Z directions. The (±SD) of tumor-corrected displacements were 0.03 (±0.16) cm, 0.05 (±0.26) cm, and 0.02 (±0.23) cm in RL, AP, and SI directions, respectively. The range of the 3D vector value was 0.11 to 0-.18 cm on average when comparing pre-treatment and CBCT, and it was confirmed that the corrected set-up error was within 0.3 cm. Therefore, it was confirmed that there were some changes in values depending on some older patients, condition on the day of treatment, and body type, but they were within the significance range.

Watermarking for Digital Hologram by a Deep Neural Network and its Training Considering the Hologram Data Characteristics (딥 뉴럴 네트워크에 의한 디지털 홀로그램의 워터마킹 및 홀로그램 데이터 특성을 고려한 학습)

  • A digital hologram (DH) is an ultra-high value-added video content that includes 3D information in 2D data. Therefore, its intellectual property rights must be protected for its distribution. For this, this paper proposes a watermarking method of DH using a deep neural network. This method is a watermark (WM) invisibility, attack robustness, and blind watermarking method that does not use host information in WM extraction. The proposed network consists of four sub-networks: pre-processing for each of the host and WM, WM embedding watermark, and WM extracting watermark. This network expand the WM data to the host instead of shrinking host data to WM and concatenate it to the host to insert the WM by considering the characteristics of a DH having a strong high frequency component. In addition, in the training of this network, the difference in performance according to the data distribution property of DH is identified, and a method of selecting a training data set with the best performance in all types of DH is presented. The proposed method is tested for various types and strengths of attacks to show its performance. It also shows that this method has high practicality as it operates independently of the resolution of the host DH and WM data.

Research on the Creative Style of DreamWorks' Animated Film Script (드림웍스 애니메이션 영화 시나리오의 창작 스타일에 관한 연구)

  • The mainstream of cinema animated film in today's world is the animated film produced by film companies such as Disney, DreamWorks, and 20th Century Fox. These animated films are influenced by Hollywood blockbusters, high cost, and big-budget, which have brought a gorgeous and splendid audio-visual feast to the global audience. DreamWorks Studios founded in 1994 has become noted in just over ten years. It has produced many high-quality animated works which are well-known all over the world. This achievement is no doubt inseparable from its superior external animation industry environment, and benefited from the American animation industry which commercially operated for almost 100 years. However, in addition to these external environmental factors, DreamWorks' achievements have also come from the extraordinary and superior creation of the animated film scripts, strong narrative script ensures the logic and appeal of animated films. This article takes Kung Fu Panda series, Shrek series, The Prince of Egypt, The Croods, Chicken Run, Megamind and other representative films produced by DreamWorks as key analysis object, using Jean Baudrillard's simulation and imaging theory, Syd Field's screenwriting skills, and Hegel's aesthetic point of view, explores the Creative Style of DreamWorks' Animated Film Script which contains the following four aspects. The script is exaggerated and novel, and the subject matter is rich and targeted. The script creation is very imaginative and can fully express the visual beauty. The structure of the story is well controlled, the space comes from reality but full of imagination. The characters have distinctive personality and the dialogue is moderated but forceful.
