Glutaric aciduria type 1(GA1) is an autosomal recessive disorder of the lysine, hydroxylysine and tryptophan metabolism caused by the deficiency of mitochondrial glutaryl-CoA dehydrogenase. This disease is characterized by macrocephaly at birth or shortly after birth and various neurologic symptoms. Between the first weeks and the 4-5th year of life, intercurrent illness such as viral infections, gastroenteritis, or even routine immunizations can trigger acute encephalopathy, causing injury to caudate nucleus and putamen. But intellectual functions are well preserved until late in the disease course. We report a one-month-old male infant with macrocephaly and hypotonia. In brain MRI, there was frontotemporal atrophy(widening of sylvian cistern). In metabolic investigation, there were high glutarylcarnitine level in tandem mass spectrometry and high glutarate in urine organic acid analysis, GA1 was confirmed by absent glutaryl-CoA dehydrogenase activity in fibroblast culture. He was managed with lysine free milk and carnitine and riboflavin. He developed well without a metabolic crisis. If there is macrocephaly in an infant with neuroradiologic sign of frontotemporal atrophy, GA1 should have a high priority in the differential diagnosis. Because current therapy can prevent brain degeneration in more than 90% of affected infants who are treated prospectively, recognition of this disorder before the brain has been injured is essential for treatment.

This paper proposes an improved de-interlacing method that converts interlaced images into progressive images from one field. First, it calculates inter-pixel values applying third-order spline interpolation for the horizontal direction from four upper lower pixel values of missing pixels. From inter-pixel values obtained from spline interpolation and upper lower pixels with value, the proposed method makes an accurate estimate of the direction by applying the correlation between upper and lower pixels. The correlation between upper and lower pixels is calculated in nine directions of a missing pixel by using values obtained from spline interpolation and pixels with value. The direction of an edge is determined as the direction in which the correlation between upper and lower pixels is at its minimum. Thus, a missing pixel is calculated by taking the average of upper lower pixels obtained from the predicted direction of an edge. From the simulation results, there are problems in that it takes a bit more time for processing, but it is expected that the time problem will be improved by increasing CPU processing speed. As for image quality, it is shown that the proposed method improves both subjective and objective image quality and quantitatively improves picture signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR) in the range between 0.1 dB to 0.5 dB, as compared with previously presented de-interlacing methods.
$^{18}F$-mefway has been developed as radioligand for serotonin receptor 5-$HT_{1A}$. The object of this study was to obtain the mefway precursor with the higher yield than previous method and to identify whether $^{18}F$-mefway can bind to 5-$HT_{1A}$ or not. from microPET imaging of small animal brain. Precursor was prepared by a modification of the reported procedure then [$^{18}F$] labeling was performed by adding $^{18}F$ ion at $130^{\circ}C$ in the hot cell for 30min. After purification of reaction mixture using alumina Sep-pak and HPLC, microPET images of small animal brain were determined. The chemical yield of precursor was increased from 9% to 34% using oxalyl chloride and LAH/diethylether. We synthesized a precursor which was successfully labeled with no-carrier-added $^{18}F$-by new synthetic route. This research suggest that $^{18}F$-mefway will be used a radiopharmaceutical for evaluation of central nerve system disorder as imaging a gent for 5-$HT_{1A}$ receptor.

3-D Multi-geophysical surveys were carried out around the Hwasan caldera at the Euisung Sub-basin. To overcome the limitations of resolutions in previous studies, dense gravity data and magnetotelluric (MT) data were obtained and analyzed. In this study, the independent inversion models from gravity and MT data were integrated using correlation and classification approaches for 3-D imaging of the geologic structures. A Structure Index (SI) method was proposed and applied to the integration and classification analyses. This method consists of Type Angle (TA) and Type Intensity (TI) values, which are estimated by the spatial correlation and abnormality of the physical properties. The SI method allowed the classification analysis to be effectively performed. Major findings are as follows: 1) pyroclastic rocks around the central area of the Hwasan caldera with lower density and resistivity than those of neighboring regions extended to a depth of around 1 km, 2) intrusive igneous rocks with high resistivity and density were imaged around the ring fault boundary, and 3) a basement structure with low resistivity and high density, at a depth of 3-5 km, was inferred by the SI analysis.
Recently, the value and the status of the digital archives that are built individually in the crossroads of oblivion and memory are due to big data has attracted attention globally is confusing. Video data that contains the cultural memory of the digital archive, such as culture, art, life, society, and social conditions of the time, it is a cultural heritage of national common expressed. Also, it remains a trace of history from the various media just like magazines, books, painting, photography, and film. Digital archive system is one of the best research results of media convergence and it has also a good opportunity to take full advantage of the new opportunities and cultural assets. The collection of infinite information of big data in perspective transient that exist at the same time compatibility of big data, it is trying to dismantle the cultural memory of us. It was asserted that must meet the criteria which can correspond to via the new digital era, will be applied to preserve the traditional media. The current image archive is necessary to accommodate proper two different directions.
This study proposes effective quality control and maintenance method by developing a new qualitative evaluation method of apron for medical radiation protection. As an experimental material, one of 0.45 mm lead and 100 of 0.45 mm Pb aprons were used and irradiated under the conditions of a tube voltage of 75 kVp and a tube current of 12.5 mAs to obtain an image. and using the Image J program, PSNR values were compared and analyzed. The results showed that there were 40 aprons (less than 11dB), 55 aprons (less than 11dB, less than 30dB), and 5 aprons (30dB or more). In addition, the dose showed a normal distribution for the apron, and 5 aprons with PSNR less than 11dB and 30dB or more were selected and divided into 8 zones, and these groups were statistically significant.

Reliable information on the surface solar radiation is indispensable for rebuilding food production system in the famine plagued North Korea. However, transfer of the related modeling technology of South Korea is not possible simply because raw data such as solar radiation or sunshine duration are not available. The objective of this study is restoring solar radiation data at 27 synoptic stations in North Korea by using satellite remote sensing data. We derived relationships between MODIS radiation estimates and the observed solar radiation at 18 locations in South Korea. The relationships were used to adjust the MODIS based radiation data and to restore solar radiation data at those pixels corresponding to the 27 North Korean synoptic stations. Inverse distance weighted averaging of the restored solar radiation data resulted in gridded surfaces of monthly solar radiation for 4 decadal periods (1983-1990, 1991-2000 and 2001-2010), respectively. For a direct application of these products, we produced solar irradiance estimates for each sub-grid cell with a 30 m spacing based on a sun-slope geometry. These products are expected to assist planning of the North Korean agriculture and, if combined with the already prepared South Korean data, can be used for climate change impact assessment across the whole Peninsula.

This work proposes a 12b 130MS/s 108mW $1.8mm^2$ 0.18um CMOS ADC for high-quality video systems such as TFT-LCD displays and digital TVs requiring simultaneously high resolution, low power, and small size at high speed. The proposed ADC optimizes power consumption and chip area at the target resolution and sampling rate based on a three-step pipeline architecture. The input SHA with gate-bootstrapped sampling switches and a properly controlled trans-conductance ratio of two amplifier stages achieves a high gain and phase margin for 12b input accuracy at the Nyquist frequency. A signal-insensitive 3D-fully symmetric layout reduces a capacitor and device mismatch of two MDACs. The proposed supply- and temperature- insensitive current and voltage references are implemented on chip with a small number of transistors. The prototype ADC in a 0.18um 1P6M CMOS technology demonstrates a measured DNL and INL within 0.69LSB and 2.12LSB, respectively. The ADC shows a maximum SNDR of 53dB and 51dB and a maximum SFDR of 68dB and 66dB at 120MS/s and 130MS/s, respectively. The ADC with an active die area of $1.8mm^2$ consumes 108mW at 130MS/s and 1.8V.
The breast cancer has the highest occurrence rate among the female cancers, and as the living style changes, the occurrence is increasing gradually. For the breast cancer test among women, who comprises up to 50% of the total population, the mammography is mainly used as the screening test, and the accuracy control is the most important aspect of the testing. Therefore this research divided the northern part of Kyeongsangbuk-do into 4 regions and investigated the accordance ratio of examination field and light examination field, the total focus using the optical density and compression rate, and the overall maintenance of mammography within the regions. The equipments of 11 hospitals were investigated, and the 7 hospitals passed the standard level of the accordance ratio of examination field. 6 hospitals passed the standard optical density, and 7 hospitals had the passing performance in the compression rate. Fibers, group of specks, and masses within the Mammographic Accreditation Phantom scored 10, being within the standard range. However, only 3 hospitals were equipped with private development processor and illumination. The result reflects the fact that the image quality of breast is not correctly being maintained. Moreover, only 27.27% satisfied all the three categories of compression fitting, accordance ratio of examination field, and phantom image evaluation at the same time. The accuracy control must be maintained more precisely for the accurate diagnosis of breast cancer.
In this thesis, GPS and the electronic mapping were used to realize such a system by recognizing license plate numbers and identifying the location of objects that move at synchronous times with simulated movement in the electronic map. As well, throughout the study, a camera attached to a PDA, one of the mobile devices, automatically recognized and confirmed acquired license plate numbers from the front and back of each car. Using this mobile technique in a wireless network, searches for specific plate numbers and information about the location of the car is transmitted to a remote server. The use of such a GPS-based system allows for the measurement of topography and the effective acquisition of a car's location. The information is then transmitted to a central controlling center and stored as text to be reproduced later in the form of diagrams. Getting positional information through GPS and using image-processing with a PDA makes it possible to estimate the correct information of a car's location and to transmit the specific information of the car to a control center simultaneously, so that the center will get information such as type of the car, possibility of the defects that a car might have, and possibly to offer help with those functions. Such information can establish a mobile system that can recognize and accurately trace the location of cars.
