The aesthetics of Korean pantomimic mask-dance-drama is studied in this thesis. The scripts of the pantomimic mask-dance-drama were recorded generally, explanatorily and interpretively. The emotion and psychology are expressed by the look and body language. The mimic expression of the pantomimic mask-dance-drama was analyzed intensively. The speech drama is richer and deeper than the pantomimic mask-dance-drama at the aspect of the power of expression.

VR animation allows you to see 360-degree screen production that cannot be seen in existing animation production while being located in the space within the animation. <Goodbye Mr Octopus>, a VR animation produced in 2020, was selected at the 77th Venice Film Festival as an immersive short film. This is the story of an adolescent girl, Stella, who is celebrating her 16th birthday, and her conflict with her strict father is resolved through a letter from her mother. It is a narrative composed of a total of 11 scenes, and in each scene, new directing elements of VR video grammar, such as gaze induction, time flow, and space conversion directing, were analyzed. Gaze-inducing directing minimized the inconvenience of 360-degree gaze, and time and space conversion directing was analyzed as an effect of increasing the audience's immersion according to narrative events.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the accessibility of the Cakewalk SI-Drum for the screen reader users. An evaluation was performed by testing the accessibility of the [Virtual Instrument Editing] that is a part of MIDI Production of the NCS(National Competency Standards) by using the SI-Drum and the Sense Reader. The results of this study are as follows. The SI-Drum has almost no basic accessibility for the screen users to do an above task. But the screen reader users can perform the tasks by using Sense Reader's Mouse Pointer function and Position Memory function. To use SI-Drum more efficiently, SI-Drum's basic accessibility have to be provided fully. Several suggestions are proposed to develop a fully accessible SI-Drum for the screen users.

Recently, many public institutions have been conducting promotional activities using digital platforms. Communication methods using digital platforms have a very important meaning in that they can create new values that did not exist before by connecting and sharing information with various users. To this end, we tried to analyze YouTube videos of five government ministries and examine them. As a result of YouTube analysis by government ministries, most of them were mainly used as channels for policy promotion, and many were used as channels for new information. Although the message is delivered through the production of various contents, it was possible to look at cases where the target as a channel for communication was not clear and the purpose was unclear. In order to communicate with the people, it should be used as a channel for communication through content suitable for clear target setting and purpose.

Director Yoon Jong-bin's new series <The Accidental Narco, Narco-Saints> was streamed through Netflix in 2022 and ranked first in the series rankings. <The Accidental Narco, Narco-Saints> continues the genealogy of male narratives in Korean society that director Yoon Jong-bin has pursued for a long time. In <The Accidental Narco, Narco-Saints>, the main characters choose the path of the diaspora to escape Korean society and seek survival in a foreign country. The two male protagonists of <The Accidental Narco, Narco-Saints> are set up in a hostile relationship, but they have one thing in common: they basically pursue money to "survive". They chose the diaspora to avoid the tyranny of public power in Korean society in the 1980s and 1990s, but Republic of Suriname was the worst place where private violence and public power were completely callused. In there, one becomes a drug lord and the other chooses to act for his duty to Korea. These two different choices can be said to be examples of the light and shade of the diaspora. In <The Accidental Narco, Narco-Saints>, director Yoon Jong-bin inherited the themes of 'family' and 'violence' from previous works, while expanding the geographical area of Korean male narratives he had been exploring.

This dissertation discusses the formulation of a nonlinear storytelling board that preserves the contextual perspective of characters. Storytelling encompasses the director's creative intention by leveraging the interaction of various elements to construct a logical narrative that explores cause and effect. Its primary objective is to enhance viewers' empathy. Consequently, there is a pressing need for comprehensive research on differentiating storytelling from storyboarding. Moreover, the integrated approach to storytelling and storyboarding holds scholarly value in understanding the process of narrative composition and visualization. Thus, a study proposes a method for constructing nonlinear storytelling boards considering the discrete camera perspective and contextual scene continuity, ultimately contributing to visual complexity and correlation comprehension. This approach enables a careful and simultaneous consideration of the correlations that deepen cognition, including the physical, emotional, and event rhythms mentioned in Karen Perlman's theory.

The purpose of this study is to analyze how the movie <The Book of Fish> (2021) represents Joseon, which is slowly collapsing with the Neo-Confucian order of the 19th century shaking, and to discuss its meaning. Prior to the analysis, the analysis framework of the historical drama was presented considering the narration characteristics of the historical drama. Using the analysis framework of historical dramas, we confirmed that <The Book of Fish> is representing the image of Jeong Yak-jeon and Jang Chang-dae living their lives as independent individuals between the limitations and possibilities of the times based on the plot structure of the narrative of exile. Through the central memory and surplus memory created through plot and style elements such as contrast between black and white and color images, voice-over narration, chinese poetry subtitles and music, the film asks us universal questions about what it takes to live as an independent individual.

In this study, we analyzed the potential application and validity of ChatGPT, an artificial intelligence technology currently gaining attention across various fields, for the creation of advertising photographs. To do this, we examined the relationship between the visual elements of advertising photographs and language, and investigated use cases of ChatGPT in advertising. Furthermore, we analyzed the elements of each stage in the advertising photograph creation process and conducted expert interviews to determine the validity of ChatGPT's application in these stages. The results revealed that, although somewhat limited, the feasibility of using ChatGPT was found to be high in the planning stage of advertising photographs, but lower in the actual shooting and post-production stages. Considering these findings, it is necessary to continuously monitor the progress of AI technology and strive to enhance the creativity and efficiency of advertising photograph production through collaboration between technology and humans.

In this paper, we propose a method for diagnosing ball bearing vibration using transfer learning. STFT, which can analyze vibration signals in time-frequency, was used as input to CNN to diagnose failures. In order to rapidly learn CNN-based deep artificial neural networks and improve diagnostic performance, we proposed a transfer learning-based deep learning learning technique. For transfer learning, the feature extractor and classifier were selectively learned using a VGG-based image classification model, the data set for learning was publicly available ball bearing vibration data provided by Case Western Reserve University, and performance was evaluated by comparing the proposed method with the existing CNN model. Experimental results not only prove that transfer learning is useful for condition diagnosis in ball bearing vibration data, but also allow other industries to use transfer learning to improve condition diagnosis.

Attempts to embody the three-dimensional world into works have continued without distinguishing between the times and the media, and the purpose is to realize an immersive state rather than the reproduction of reality. It was considered that the flat screen, which is the medium that finally faces the viewer in digital media art, hinders complete immersion, and this study investigated and analyzed the cases of works that give a sense of reality of space beyond the limits of the screen. Using the results of the analysis to produce the work, it was found that the presentation of the realistic space and enhancing immersion in the digital media art field should be viewed not only as visual video content on the screen, but also as an installation suitable for the exhibition environment and the resulting space itself.
