준위치제어를 통한 영구자석형 리니어동기모터의 초기자극위치 추정알고리즘 (Initial Pole Position Estimation Agorithm for PM-LSM by Pseudo-Position Control)

  • This paper proposes the algorithm for the initial pole-position estimation of a surface PM-LSM, which is carried out under the pseudo-position control with-out a pole sensor and is insensitive to the motor parameters. This algorithm is based on the principle that the initial pole-position is calculated by the reverse trigonometric-function using the two reference currents, which are informed from the speed controller. The effectiveness of the proposed algorithm is confirmed by the arithmetical analysis and the experiment. IPP is well estimated within a satisfied moving-distance and a shorter estimation taken-time even if large disturbance such as cogging and friction are existed.

  • This paper presents the system design of permanent magnet linear synchronous machine with double-side PM mover and slotless iron-cored stator in the required speed and thrust. in this paper, the design of manufacturing motor is optimized by characteristics of motor parameters with the variation of PM size and coil turns. And, the permissible operating range of manufactured motor by determination of base speed and base thrust according to switching scheme of DC link voltage are offered. Finally, the results of analytical solutions are verificated by finite element analysis and experiment.

  • This paper presents design of speed control system for slot less iron-cored PM linear synchronous motor using space vector PWM. the design must be considered by the useable limits of the DC link voltage and dynamic operating rage as well as the characteristics of design parameters in a point of system. Therefore, in this paper, the permissible operating range of manufactured motor by determination of rate speed and rate thrust according to switching scheme of DC link voltage are offered. The vector control requires information about rotor position. And we can need to the Hall sensor for sampling current. In order to agree with this purpose, Digital Signal Processor(TMS320F240x) developed for implementation of a speed Field Oriented Control.

  • The climate change due to the increased consumption with fossil fuel and rise of the oil price have been serious global issues. Automobile industry consumes 30% of the oil every year and causes air pollution and global warming by the exhaust emissions and carbon dioxide ($CO_2$). The demand of two-wheeled vehicle increases every year due to the parking and traffic problem caused by the increased automobiles in the urban area. Approximately 50,000,000 two-wheeled vehicles were produced in 2008. The development and sales of the hybrid two-wheeled vehicle industry become active due to its increased market demands. In this paper, the change of the motor and battery efficiency, driving distance, hill climbing ability with the change of the motor capacity was analyzed. Simulation of the peculiarities in urban driving schedule(World-wide Motorcycle Test Cycle(WMTC), Manhattan driving schedule), constant speed(10 km/h, 35 km/h) of small electronic two-wheeled vehicle was also carried out. Through the simulation result, appropriate capacities of the motor and battery for urban driving was acquired.

반도체 제조 장비용 영구자석형 동기전동기의 고분해능 위치제어에 관한 연구 (A study on High-Precision Position Control of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor for Semiconductor Equipments)

  • 본 논문에서는 반도체 제조를 위한 AC 서보 모터의 고정도 위치 제어에 관하여 연구하였다. 제어기는 150 MIPS의 고속 처리가 가능한 Tl사의 차세대 모터 제어용 DSP TMS320F2812를 이용하여 컨트롤러를 구성하였으며, 2,500 PPR 분해능의 광학식 증분형 엔코더가 장착 된 100W 용량의 PMSM을 위치 제어 하였다. 위치 제어기를 구성하기 위하여 속도 제어기와 전류 제어기를 하위 루프로 구성하였으며, 회전형 엔코더 4체배 된 신호를 이용하여 최대 10,000 PPR의 위치 제어를 수행 하였다. 이로부터 보다 많은 PPR을 지원하는 엔코더에서도 같은 방법으로 고정도 위치제어가 가능할 것이다.

  • Air foil bearings have been attempted for application to industrial turbo machines, since they have several advantages over oil bearings in terms of endurance, simplicity, environment-friendliness, efficiency, sound and vibration, and small turbo machines with air foil bearings are in the market as the result. Recently, researches on widening the application spectrum of air foil bearings are in progress worldwide. In this paper, a 300 HP class turbo blower using air foil bearings is introduced. The turbo blower has a high speed PMSM(Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor) driving a compressor, and air flow rate is designed to be $180\;m^3/min$ at pressure ratio of 1.6. The maximum rotational speed is set to 17,000 RPM to maximize the total efficiency with the result that the weight of rotor assembly is 26kg, which is expected to be the largest turbo machine with air foil bearings ever developed in the world.

  • The application of speed or position control technique in AC drives demands accurate position and velocity feedback information. Generally, resolver and absolute encoders are used as a velocity or position sensor. But they increase cost and when the sampling frequency is faster than sensoer's output frequency we can't Set exact information. In order to solve this problem this thesis proposes a speed and a position observer design for Permanent-Magnet Synchronous Motors(PMSM) specialty in low speed drives. Most literatures on this topic design the observer based on the field_oriented d_q model. But in this thesis, a new approach to machine dynamics is proposed. Since it is difficult to design the observer using the nonlinear model, the machine model is here linearlized at the operating point. The observer designed is implemented by software using Intel's 8097 microprocessor and verifies the proper performance of observer by simulation and experiment.

  • 본 논문에서는 기존 축전지를 대체하기 위한 초전도 플라이휠 에너지 저장시스템에 관해 연구 하였다. 전동/발전기, 베어링, 휠재료, 전력변환기등의 설계요소에 관해 기술하였으며 초고속의 회생 및 저장 모드에서 모터입력전류를 정현파로 제어하기 위한 전력변환기를 설계 제작하였다. 높은 보자력을 갖는 희토류 영구자석을 사용하여 계자를 구성하는 원통형 영구자석 동기전동기를 사용함으로써 고효율을 실현하고자 하였다. 기계적 베어링과 초전도 자기부상 베어링을 사용하는 시스템에 적용하여 운전하였으며 후자의 경우 약 10.000[rpm]에서 매우 안정된 회전 특성을 보였으며 전자의 경우 설계 특성을 만족하면서 7.000[rpm]에서 100[V]의 일정 직류전압으로 약 25초 동안 400[W]의 전력을 회생하였다.

  • 본 논문은 축소차원 상태방정식을 사용한 전차원 관측기를 이용하여 저속도 영역에서의 운전 성능 개선방법을 제안하였다. 축소차원 상태방정식을 사용한 전차원 관측기는 간단한 모터속도 및 외란토크 관측기이다. 제안한 알고리즘은 약 1.9[rpm]의 저속도에서 매우 안정적인 결과를 보였다. 모터구동 시스템에서 외란토크는 저속도 영역에서 속도제어 성능을 저하시킨다. 제안한 알고리즘은 모터속도와 외란토크를 모두 추정한다. 추정된 외란 토크는 속도제어기의 출력에 전향보상 값으로 사용되며, 그 결과 저속도 영역(1.9rpm)에서 부하토크 응답특성이 향상된 것을 확인하였다.

도심주행 패턴에 따른 소형 전기자동차 최적화 전략 (Optimized Strategy of Neighborhood Electric Vehicle with Driving Schedules)

  • The Developing & Producing of Eco-Friendly vehicle have been more incremented, as People appreciate the importance of Earth Environment Conservation. The needs of Neighborhood Electric Vehicle(NEV) that suits Current people's short drive distance is incremented. In this Paper, we define Neighborhood Electric Vehicle through out National Highway Traffic Safety Administration of United States of America's regulation and explain motor and battery of primary constituents of that. We used MATLAB and ADVISOR 200 programs for Simulation, and propsed NEV's Model that tow people can be got in. In this Model, the battery is Lead-acid battery(72V, 85Ah) and the motor is 8kW permanent magnet synchronous motor(PM motor). We compared change of driving range of NEV through out non-changing speed Driving(10km/h, 20km/h, 30km/h, 40km/h) and Manhattan driving schedule.
