  • The thermally labile compounds with hydroxyl group generate the [${MNH_4}^+$] ion, [$MH^+$] and [$MH^+-OH$] ion by ion-molecule reaction in LC/TSP/MS. But these ions create the trouble in the estimation of molecular weight of an unknown compound because the margin of [${MNH_4}^+$] ion and [$MH^+$] ion is same to that of [$MH^+$] ion and [$MH^+-OH$] ion. If it is compensated for the results by using of the $CF_3COOD+NH_4OH$ LC eluent, the molecular weight of analyte will be able to be confirmed. And this study was tried to recognize whether the fragment ions of thermally labile compound are generated by electron impact or by thermal degradation in ion source.

  • Renewable gas fuels such as biogas and landfill gas have carbon-neutral nature which can reduce carbon dioxide. However, it is necessary to make stable combustion when this fuel is used in power generating SI(spark ignition) gas engines due to its low heating value and non-uniformity. In this study, it was shown that addition of hydrogen can increase combustion stability of gas engine which is running with high inert gas composition. Thermal efficiency and emission characteristics of this engine was also investigated. In addition, a new spark plug with a long electrode was tested and compared with a base spark plug as a way to improve engine efficiency and reduce exhaust emissions.

  • Cellular autolytic enzyme was isolated from the supernatant fluid of exponentially growing cuiture of Cl. butyricum ID-113. The autolysin was partially pruified by ammonium sulfate fractionation, chromatography on DEAE-Sephadex A-50 and gel filtration through Sephadex G-200. This autolytic enzyme lysed SDS-treated cell wall fractions of Cl. butyricum ID, but not whole cells at all. Its optimum pH and temperature were 5.0 and 37$^{\circ}C$, respectively. This enzyme was relatively stable at neutral pH, but sensitive to heat treatment. Enzyme activity was not influenced by the addition of various divalent cation, but inhibited by Cu$^{++}$.

  • The dynamic analysis of delaminated composite structures is carried out based on the higher order plate theory. In the finite element (FE) formulation, the seven degrees of freedom per each node are used with transformations in order to fit the displacement continuity conditions at the delamination region. The boundaries of the instability regions are determined using the method proposed by Bolotin. The numerical results obtained for skew plates are in good agreement with those reported by other investigators. The new results for delaminated skew plate structures in this study mainly show the effect of the interactions between the geometries and other various parameters.

  • The aim of this study is to look into the role stress, job insecurity, self-efficacy and job engagement among broadcasting staffs. It is the ultimate goal for this study to probe how their job engagement affected by three factors - role stress, job insecurity, self-efficacy. 343 respondents participated and the results show they are suffering for the role stress, especially role conflict. Their awareness of the self-efficacy and job engagement is above average, meanwhile of job insecurity is comparably low. It is revealed that the less role ambiguity and the more self-efficacy affect their job engagement and the most influential factor is self-efficacy.

  • If a cointegrating relation is affected by important economic and political events occurred in the sample period, the assumption of the time-invariant cointegrating vector is violated, which leads to the misrep-resentation of the actual relations between the variables. From such a viewpoint, this study utilizes the recursive estimation process in testing for the stability of the long-run equilibrium of the domestic stock market system and then attempts to develop the framework for stabilizing time-variant cointegraing relations by introducing the dummy variables where the structural changes are found to exist.

  • The knowledge of flame structure is essential for control of combustion instability phenomena. Some results of an experimental study on mechanism of naturally occurring combustion oscillations with a single dominant frequency are presented. Tests were conducted in a laboratory-scale dump combustor at atmospheric pressure. Sound level meter was used to track the pressure wave inside the combustor. The observed instability was a longitudinal mode with a frequency of $\sim341.8Hz$. Instability map was obtained at the condition of inlet temperature of $360^{\circ}C$, mean velocities of $8.5\sim10.8m/s$ and well premixed mixture. It showed that combustion instability was susceptible to occur in the lean conditions. In this study, unstable flame was observed from stoichiometric to 0.7 in overall equivalence ratio. At selected unstable conditions, phase-resolved OH chemiluminescence images were captured to investigate flame structure with various mean velocities. As mean velocity is increased, the flame grows and global heat release was changed. Due to these effects, combustion instability can be maintained at more lean air-fuel ratio. Also, these results give an insight to the controlling mechanism for an increasing heat release at maximum pressure.

  • The present study employs experimental approach to identify combustion stability characteristics of fuel-rich gas generators. The gas generator of interest, fueled by LOx and Jet A-1, experienced combustion instability coupled to a longitudinal resonant mode of the combustion chamber at about 1200 Hz. The occurrence of instability is strongly associated with acoustic boundary condition at the exit .and axial location of maximum heat release. As a result, stretching heat release zone in the axial direction by increase of the fuel nozzle diameter has dramatically stabilized combustion.

  • The Levenberg-Marquardt method is a well known solution about the least square problem. However, in a Target Motion Analysis(TMA) application most of researches have used the Gauss-Newton method as a batch estimator, which of inverse matrix calculation may causes instability problem. In this paper, Levenberg-Marquardt method is applied to TMA problem to prevent its divergence. In experiment, its performance is compared with Gauss-Newton in domain of range, course and speed. Monte Carlo simulation reveals the convergence time and reliability of the TMA based on Levenberg-Marquardt.
