지난 3월은 세계적인 업체들이 한 자라에 모여 저마다 자신의 기술을 뽐내는 기회가 많았던 달이었다. 미 통신기기협회(The Celluar Telecommunications & Internet Association) 주관으로 열리는 ‘2001 CTIA Wireless 쇼’는 예년과 달리 IBM, 컴팩 컴퓨터(Compaq Computer), 썬 마이크로시스템즈(Sun Microsystems) 등 세계적인 컴퓨터 및 반도체 업체까지 대거 참가함으로써 세계 최대규모의 전시회로 부각되고 있다. 또한 "CeBIT-Center for Office and information Technology(사무 자동화, 정보 기술 및 텔레커뮤니케이션 관련 세계 비즈니스 박람회)“ 역시 지난 3월에 세계적인 정보통신기기업체들이 마음껏 자신의 신기술을 뽐내는 자리를 마련했다.정보통신 강국을 향해 끊임없이 노력하고 있는 국내 업체들에게 전시회 리뷰는 좋은 정보가 될 것이다. 지난 3월 21일부터 22까지 미국 라스베가스 Sands Expo & Venetian hotel에서 열린 “CTIA Wireless 2001”과 또한 22일부터 28일 까지 독일 하노버에서 열린 ‘CeBIT 2001 HANNOVER"에서 대한 자료들을 정리, 싣는다.

국제지리학연합(I.G.U)이 발족한 이래(1871년) 한국대표가 본회의에 참가하게 된 것은 극히 최근의 일이다. 공식기록에 의하면 1952년에 1만명, 1960년에 2명, 1968년에 1명이었으며, 이번 1972년 8월 10일부터 17일까지 Motreal, Canada에서 열린 회의에는 Utah대학의 이정만 교수와 필자뿐이었다. 이 글은 일개 지리학도인 필자가 본회의에서 보고, 듣고, 느낀바를 적은 것이다. 가까운 장래의 국제지리학회를 한국에 유치시킬수 있게 되기를 희망하며 아울러 차기대회에 대한 참고자료가 되어주기를 바라는 마음에서 회의전반에 걸쳐 회의장, 회의진행과 분위기, 각종전시, 논문발표, 출판물 및 차기대회에 관한 제언등에 관하여 서술하고자 한다.

In this paper I have tried to find the points which current Math teachers should reconsider in their classes and suggested how to improve the teaching methods in the class. For these answers, I analysed Teaching plans of 30 Math teachers in K province and observed their model classes. The conclusions acquired by these observations are the followings. First, Math teachers should have a great deal of enthusiasm in their classes. Second, Math teachers must understand the curriculum. Third, Math teachers have to understand their students. Fourth, Math teachers should endeavor with other teachers through the workshop. Fifth, Math teachers should be professional and open-minded to make their classes public anytime.

이 연구는 인천의 정체성을 알아보는 데 연구의 초점을 맞추었다. 연구방법으로는 실증적 방법과 민속학적 방법 두 가지를 병행하였다. 시민단체, 공무원, 학생을 대상으로 임의목적표본방법을 사용하여 총 613명이 분석되었다. 분석방법은 교차통계분석 및 다중분류분석을 하였다. 정체성은 한 지역에 거주하는 주민들의 집단결속력과 성취도를 결정하여 주며, 그 지역의 사회적 통합과도 밀접한 관련을 지니고 있어서, 지역의 문제나 관심사를 해결하고 발전시키는데 가장 핵심적인 요소이다. 인천의 정체의식은 세 집단 모두 낮으며, 전체응답자의 절반 이상은 그저 그렇다는 중용의 의견이었다. 인천에 대한 정체의식을 응답집단의 특성별로 보면 여자보다는 남자가 높고, 기혼자보다는 미혼자가 높으며, 30세 이상으로 연령이 많을수록, 수입과 생활수준이 낮을수록 정체의식이 상대적으로 높게 나타났다. 그리고 전문.관리.사무직보다는 판매.서비스.생산.농업직 종사자들의 정체의식이 높았다. 전문대 정도의 교육을 받은 시민의 정체의식이 상대적으로 높고, 인천의 문화.복지.환경개선을 위한 특별기금 기부의사가 있는 시민과 인천을 마음붙이고 살 곳으로 생각하는 시민의 정체의식이 높다. 총괄적인 의미에서 본 인천의 정체성에 관한 조사를 보면, 인천은 "주인의식 없음"과 "이제부터 만들어 가야 한다"는 답변이 제일 많았고 그 다음은 "포용력", "선구적 개척정신", "긍정적인 의미의 짠물", "합중시(合衆市)적 다양성", "외세에 대한 호국정신", "세계의 관문도시"로 나타났다. 이와 같은 응답유형으로 보아서는 인천지역에 대한 이미지를 한마디로 딱 잘라 말하기는 어렵다. 그러나 인천은 서울.경기인, 충청인, 호남인, 영남인, 이북인, 외국인 등을 가리지 않고 받아드리는 "포용력이 있는 합중시적 다양성을 가진 도시"로 지역차가 서로 다른 출신성분이 공존할 수 있다는 점에서 의미하는 바가 크다. 이는 "세계속의 도시"와 "동북아의 거점도시"를 추구하는 미래지향적인 시각에서는 지역주의를 지양하고 지역통합이슈와 세계화 물결속에서 외국인에게도 열린 상태문화를 제공하는 관문이 될 것이라는 면에서 인천이 추구해야 할 정체성으로 시사하는 점이라고 본다.는 미래지향적인 시각에서는 지역주의를 지양하고 지역통합이슈와 세계화 물결속에서 외국인에게도 열린 상태문화를 제공하는 관문이 될 것이라는 면에서 인천이 추구해야 할 정체성으로 시사하는 점이라고 본다.

After kidney transplantation, immunosuppressive medication is essential to enhance the quality of life and survival of the transplanted patient. To promote the medication adherence, subjects are required to have converged attitude with open mind. Medication adherence will depend on the attitude of the psychosocial characteristics and treatment guidelines. The purpose of this study was to identify the specific types and characteristics of medication adherence in the view of kidney transplanted patients. Q-methodology, a technique for extracting subjective opinions, was used. Forty participants completed the Q-sort activity, rating each statement relative to the others. The collected data were analyzed by QUANL PC program. Four types of medication adherence of kidney transplanted patients were identified: 'positive lifestyle management type', 'vigilant appearance management type', 'somber oblivion type', 'vigilant family support type'. Through the identification of attitudes to medication adherence, repeated and individualized medication adherence program will help to prevent graft rejection.

Teaching methods should focus on enabling the students to adopt an open mind towards new experiences and to be flexible to change. Moreover, their purpose lies in encouraging the students to build their ability to discern values so that they can make the right decisions when they are at a crossroad. However, traditional teaching methods were centered on textbooks and on the teachers. This type of teaching method needs to change so that the new teaching method will focus on the students themselves, taking levels of individual students into consideration to enable development of their creativity in line with the demands made during the 21st century, an era of information and globalization. Projected learning method is appropriate for the Physical Education (PE) classes where various activities aim to increase the level of cooperation among students and their investigative skills. Moreover, PE classes pay special attention to the practical aspect. Accordingly, this research makes recommendations for the class execution methods based on projected learning by improving the curriculum for the PE classes, and the effect of these methods are subject to verification.

대한인쇄정보기술협회와 월간 인쇄계가 주최한 제4회 국제인쇄기술컨퍼런스가 지난 7월 11일 서울 소피텔앰배서더호텔에서 인쇄 및 관련업계 관계자 300여명이 참석한 가운데 열렸다. 이날 컨퍼런스는 오성상 신구대학 교수의 진행으로 이어졌다. '드루파 2008을 통해 본 인쇄산업시장의 전망'을 주제로 열린 이번 컨퍼런스에서 김진배 대한 인쇄기술협회 회장은 인사말을 통해 "4회째를 맞은 국제인쇄기술컨퍼런스는 인쇄 각 분야 전문가들의 경험과 노하우를 공유하고 전 세계 인쇄산업의 최신 기술과 정보를 교류하는 기회의 장으로 인쇄기술의 발전에 기여해 왔다"며, "지금 인쇄산업은 미디어와의 융합을 통해 새로운 가치를 창조해내고 있어 이제 더 이상 인쇄가 고전적인 가치에만 머물러 있지 않다는 것을 의미 한다"고 말했다. 김 회장은 이어 "인쇄산업은 기존의 수준에만 머물러 있어서는 안 되며 전 세계적인 변화의 추세에 발맞춰 철저한 준비와 노력이 필요할 뿐 아니라 새로운 비전을 찾을 수 있도록 인쇄산업인 모두의 지혜를 모으는 데 힘을 쏟아야 할 것"이라고 말했다. 이어진 인사말에서 안정웅 월간인쇄계 발행인은 "이번 제4회 국제인쇄기술컨퍼런스는 각 인쇄분야에 있어 더욱 깊은 기술동향 정보를 제공할 것이며 드루파 이후 향후 4년 동안 인쇄산업을 이끌어 나갈 제품과 그 기술들을 만나보고 향방을 점쳐보는 기회가 될 것"이라고 말했다. 홍우동 대한인쇄문화협회 회장은 축사를 통해 "대내외적인 어려움에 직면해 있는 인쇄업계가 어려움을 극복하기 위해 인쇄인은 물론 기자재 공급업체와 언론계, 인쇄단체가 하나 된 마음으로 난관 극복을 위한 지혜를 발휘해야 할 때"라며 "올해부터 발효되고 있는 인쇄문화산업진흥법에 근거해 인쇄문화산업진흥위원회가 활동하는 한편으로 대한인쇄문화협회를 중심으로 정부와 국회가 머리를 맞대고 인쇄업계 발전을 위한 대책을 마련하고 있으며 특히 인쇄종주국으로써 세계적으로 빛나는 우리나라의 인쇄문화 유산과 세계인쇄 사료를 한 그릇에 담을 수 있는 가칭 '세계인쇄문화박물관'건립을 추진하고 있다"고 말했다.

Confucius made endless thoughts on such themes as enlightening for the internal value of human, how to draw out such value and how to make personal relationship in order to overcome the chaotic Chun-qiu age. The spirit of 'Harmony but not Sameness' stated by Confucius passes us the theoretical meaning for making a good relationship with the others, which is realization of Benevolence. The spirit of 'Harmony but not Sameness' pursues moral, public and golden-mean value. This pursuit is made to look for harmonization and coexistence in personal relation, community based relation and, furthermore, relation with the nature, so that a great man is an entirely-good person who has realized the spirit of 'Harmony but not Sameness'. The spirit of 'Harmony but not Sameness' throws to us many issues to think of for the social unity, 'living together', which is the central theme of today. The objects for which the 'living together' shall be embodied are the minor groups of our society and those who are relatively expelled from the power and benefit including multi-culture based families, north Korean refugees and etc. Such open mind for harmonization and coexistence gives us, furthermore, another important issue to think of also in the matter of environment that includes the ecosystem and the entire nature.

The oracle of the I Ching, divination can be understood as 'synchronicity phenomenon' in analytic psychology. In order to experience divination actually, it requires a religious attitude that asks questions with a serious mind when a person is in trouble that consciousness reaches its limit. It is not just a passive attitude, but a modest, active attitude to ask what I can do now. The experience of the oracle of the I Ching connected to supra-consciousness is similar to 'active imagination'-talking with the archetype of collective unconsciousness-and is 'the process of finding the rhythm of Self-archetype, the absolute wisdom of unconsciousness.' One month before my father's death, I took care of him who couldn't communicate verbally and I divination with a question 'What can I do for my father and me now?' The I Ching's answer was hexagram 19 Lin 臨, nine at the beginning. It's message was '咸臨貞吉 joint approach. perseverance brings good fortune.' 志行正也 we must adhere perseveringly to what is right.' Through this phrase, I learned the attitude of waiting for life after death as if 'joyful obedient' to the providence of nature that spring comes after winter. And I found that keeping the touching emotion of meeting infinity (in analytical psychological terms, 'Self') with perseveration is to do the true meaning of life beyond popular money-mindedness. And six months before my father's death, I had a dream about the afterlife. In the process of interpreting that dream, I learned not only from the shock of the direct message that 'it is a truth that there is something after death,' but also the regeneration of the mind through introversion from the similarity between the closed ward and '黃泉'-chinese underworld through amplification. And I learned the importance of an open attitude to accept new things through the 'window to eternity' symbolized by the white iron gate. In my father's catholic funeral ritual, I had hope that the catholic doctrine 'Communio Sanctorum'-A spiral cycle in which the living and the dead help each other may be real as well as a symbol of the individuation process in which consciousness and unconsciousness interact in our minds. Through the consolation received through the funeral visit of many people I met in my life, I found the answer that the path to contact with infinity begins with loving the beings in front of me. I tried to understand this continuous experience by the perspective of analytical psychology.

In this paper, we proposed a new Korean Dual system, K-Dual System, and discussed the concepts and details about three sub-models of the system, IPP, W3 and corporate university models. Propose K-Dual system is a new and unique educational model that combines academic study and industrial work in order to solve the various problems of existing work-study parallel educational systems in Korea. K-Dual System has two tracks, Academic and Vocational tracks. Academic track has a long-term field experience training program, IPP program. On the other hands, Vocational track can be divided into two sub-models and those are $W^3$ and corporate university. Finally, we summarized several key points for the successful setup and operation of K-Dual system.
