A Study on the description of Puppet Performance History (인형연행사 기술의 새로운 모색)

  • This study is a link in a chain which grope for the description of puppet performance history. This study imply my intention which is not a description of puppet performance 'history' but a description of 'puppet performance' history. Object materials of this study is materials connected with puppet performance from ancient times to Chosun dynasty. Object materials of this study include not only records but also remains and pictures. Discussion start with regulation of puppet performance materials and establishment of a classification criterion. As a result of that discussion, the age of puppet performance is as follows: 'the age of diverse use of puppet', 'the age of ritual puppet performance of worship', 'the age of play puppet performance of handling', 'the age of ritual puppet performance of display', 'the age of ritual puppet performance of expulsion', 'the age of ritual puppet performance of handling', 'the age of play puppet performance of display', 'the age of play puppet performance of handling and voice-acting'. According to the internal division of age, the description of puppet performance history which is spread chronologically is attempted. As a result of the description, I confirm that puppet performance reveal a one's unfolding process. And a distinct aspect from the general cultu! re history is found. The development process which is a changeover that is 'from ritual puppet performance to play puppet performance' is amended by a circulation of ritual puppet performance and play puppet performance'. And the development process which is a changeover 'from static puppet to dynamic puppet' is amended by a circulation of static puppet and dynamic puppet'. Like this the thing which is laid in the inside which is not a one sided changeover but is a circulation is said that from one age of puppet performance to other age of puppet performance is not a close of former puppet performance tradition. Unfolding from one age to other age, on the other hand former puppet performance reveal aspect which is a continuance and change with a one's vitality. And a relation of mutual influence is exist between the ritual puppet performance and the play puppet performance on a large scale, among the puppet performance types on a small scale. this also don't overlook in cas! e of a groping of puppet performance history.

A Study on Ik-mo Lee's Yeonhaengrok (이익모의 병진연행록에 관한 연구)

  • Yeonhaengrok is a document recorded by one member of the envoy sent to the China from 17 to 19 century. Ik-mo Lee, a member of the envoy, wrote a full explanation of the visit from Nov. 24 1796 to Mar. 7 1797 in his writing $\ulcorner$Byongjin Yeonhaengrok${\lrcorner}$. $\ulcorner$Byongjin Yeonhaengrok${\lrcorner}$, which is omitted in the complete collection of $\ulcorner$Yeonhaengrok${\lrcorner}$, has been newly found at the Family of Suwon Baek's house locating at the Sanggum Vil., Yongsan Town, Jangheung County of Chonnam Province. $\ulcorner$Byongjin Yeonhaengrok${\lrcorner}$ contains an historical meaning that it is an official record of the official envoy that was sent first after the Injong's enthronement in China. This study observed the bibliographical features of $\ulcorner$Byongjin Yeonhaengrok${\lrcorner}$, the time of the transcription, the progress of receiving by the Suwon Baek family. And certified the details of the Byongjin envoy, going and returning between Hanyang and Beijing, staying schedules of the envoy in Beijing.

Review on succession aspects of direction structure and dancing in Moondoong drum dance by GoseongOgwangdae - Focusing on Moondoong drum dance directed by Yong Bae Cho - (고성오광대 문둥북춤의 춤사위와 연행구조 전승양상 고찰 - 조용배 연행의 문둥북춤을 중심으로 -)

  • In this study, succession aspects of direction structure and dancing were reviewed in Moondoong drum dance succeeded by Yong Bae Cho of Goseong Ogwangdae. Sung Rak Hong who succeeded to Moondoong drum dance before Yong Bae Cho directed only 'drum dance' mainly with Goodguri rhythm. While Sung Rak Hong succeeded, the drum of Moondoong Gwangdae became smaller, which was changed from drum before 1965, to semi-drum in 1966 and tabor in 1967 and thereafter. Yong Bae Cho succeeded to Moondoong drum dance since 1970, adding 'Moondoong dance' directing tabor at the floor together with 'drum dance' before August 1972 and directing Dutbaegi rhythm. From the first succession of Goseong Ogwangdae since the winter in 1974, obscene movements were disappeared, and the setting with Yangban and contents to sublimate resentment were added in Moondoong drum dance. These changes seemed to be affected by succession format of Tongyoung Ogwangdae Moondoong drum dance and Ok Jin Gong's idiot dance. There are succession patterns when reviewing Moondoong drum dance directed by Yong Bae Cho. In case of 'Moondoong' dance, repeated forms were succeeded including 'fixed dance'->'impromptu dance'->'jump' in center of three fixed dances. In case of 'drum dance,' repeated forms were succeeded including 'fixed dance'->'rolling tabor'->'concluding' -> 'impromptu dance'->'jump' in center of four fixed dances. In 'drum dance' by Yong Bae Cho, many parts of succeeded dance by Sung Rak Hong who was a prior successor were remained. After Yong Bae Cho's death, Jong Bok Heo summarized the dance with more completed order focusing on the structure of Moondoong drum dance succeeded by Yong Bae Cho. Since then, multiple scenes were added continuously including hobbled appearance by Jong Won Heo, happy scene eating barley and scene to catch tabor stick difficultly, by Chang Ryol Heo. Yong Bae Cho added 'Moondoong dance' to the prior works only with 'drum dance' and started adding the story with resentment. The direction structure summarized by Yong Bae Cho became the basic framework in which the following directors added the scenes very easily. Like this, Yong Bae Cho was an excellent director of Goseong Ogwangdae who inherited Moondoong drum dance from the previous generation to establish and develop to hand over the next generations.

  • In this thesis I aim at investigating at the distinctive characteristic of homesickness in written by Hong sun-hag and the mean of the distinctive characteristic. The result as follow. The aspect of homesickness in the Yeonhaengnok : The first, the traveler express the reason that cause the homesickness. The reason that cause the homesickness is various. The second, the traveler express the emotional conflict between worry about the family and ambition of travel in Yeonhaengsanmun. The third, the traveler express the reason that cause the homesickness and yearn for his home. The traveler express the individual experience connected with the family in Yeonhaengsanmun, the universal experience connected with the family in Yeonhaenghansi. The distinctive characteristic of homesickness in the and the mean of the distinctive characteristic : The first, the aspect of homesickness in the is all aspect of homesickness. The author of synthesizes homesickness. The second, the scenery rouse the traveler' homesickness and the traveler expresses homesickness by the empathy to the scenery. The mean of expressing by the scenery is that the expression succeed the 17th century Yeonhaenggasa. The third, the traveler concretely expresses his inner world. The mean of concretely expressing the inner world is that the expression is related to the realism of expressing the inner world.

  • This paper is to explain who are the authors of first-half 18th Century private prose YeonHangRok(燕行錄) written in Chinese Character and what are interest-oriented aspects of that books. As objects of study, 3 private prose YeonHangRok(燕行錄) written by No-Ron Jeon -Ju Lee's Family(老論 全州李氏) were chosen. Result of reading articles in their anthology, I found their consciousness about going to Beijing. : They aware of "The importance of YeonHang(燕行)" and when they run a mission, they take an attitude of 'observation and attention' to their experience. With that consciousness of YeonHang(燕行) in common, So-jae(疎齋), Il-am (一菴) and Hanpojae(寒圃齋) wrote their YeonHangRok(燕行錄) that mainly describe their direct experience. So-jae(疎齋) and Hanpojae(寒圃齋)'s categories of descriptions are specialized in 'Public Affairs' and 'mission', Il-am(一菴) has widened to the everyday cultures and people of Other cultures.

The Contents and Value of Pyungyang Darigut Performed in 1955 (1955년 연행 평양 다리굿 자료의 내용 및 가치)

  • This paper is a report on the real aspects of Darigut that was performed in Pyungyang in 1955. The data on 1955 Darigut that is kept in a publishing company through a complicated process contains sound source, records of shamanic songs, and various photo data so it is highly valuable. The Darigut that was eventually known to the world through the performance in Seoul in 1981 is meaningful in itself, but it will have a more solid identity through the comparison with the data on the Darigut of 1955. This paper presented the form in which the data on Pyungyang Darigut remains and deduced the original form of Darigut through the comparison with Seoul Darigut. It is expected that this data will be widely publicized and contribute to the study on Korea's shamanism.

Study on Air Entrainment Occurred to Intake Facility of Circular Multi Stage Cylinder Gate (원형 다단 실린더 게이트 형식의 취수시설에서 발생하는 공기연행에 대한 연구)

  • 본 연구에서는 수리모형실험을 통하여 원형 다단 실린더 게이트 형식의 취수시설에서 발생하는 공기연행을 분석하였다. 수리모형실험의 원형은 경상북도 청도군에 위치한 운문댐의 "운문댐 안전성 강화사업"에서 계획되고 있는 신설취수탑을 기준으로 상사법칙은 Froude상사법칙을 적용하고 1/20의 모형 축척을 가지는 취수탑의 국부모형에 하류단 수위를 고려하기 위해 유량조절시설을 설치하여 실험을 실시하였다. 실험조건은 크게 두 가지로 구분하였으며, 수면으로부터 유입구 상단부까지의 거리 ∆h1(m)과 유입부 저수지 저류 수위와 하류단 유량조절시설간의 수위차인 ∆h2(m)이며, ∆h1에 대한 조건은 0.01m~0.06m로 0.01m 간격으로 6가지, ∆h2에 대한 조건은 0.10m~1.70m로 0.20m간격으로 9가지로 이를 조합하여 총 54개 CASE에 대해 진행하였다. 실험결과 공기연행 발생 시 그에 따른 영향을 평가하기 위해 발생 정도에 따라 미발생(Not Occur), 간헐적(Intermittent), 빈번한(Frequent), 지속적(Continuation), 공기 폭발(Air Explosion)로 분류하였으며, 각 공기연행 발생 시 취수유량의 감소율 및 영향을 분석한 결과 간헐적 공기연행 발생 시 최대 약 3.75%의 취수유량 감소, 빈번한 공기연행 발생 시 취수유량은 전체적으로 10%, 최대 약 13.19% 감소하였으며, 지속적 공기연행 발생 시 발생 이후 ∆h2증가에 의한 취수유량의 증가가 거의 이루어지지 않으며, 최대 56.25%의 취수유량이 감소, 공기 폭발 발생 시 취수유량의 영향은 지속적 발생과 비슷하나 관내 공기 포집 후 유입구로 방출 시 관에 강한 충격을 주어 안정성에도 큰 영향을 미칠 것으로 판단되어, 이에 안정성 및 취수유량 감소율을 고려하여 빈번, 지속, 공기 폭발 발생 영역에서의 취수는 적합하지 않으며, 공기연행 미발생 및 간헐적 발생 영역에서의 취수 시 목표 취수유량이 1.00~4.00(㎥/s)일 때 ∆h1= 0.40m 이상, 4.00~9.30(㎥/s) 일 때 ∆h1= 0.60m 이상, 9.30~9.53(㎥/s) 일 때 ∆h1=0.80m 이상, 9.53~9.65(㎥/s) 일 때 ∆h1= 1.00m 이상에서 취수유량 감소율 3.75% 이내로 취수유량의 확보가 가능하다. 이러한 결과는 원형 다단 실린더 게이트 형식의 취수시설에 대해 취수 시 수면와류에 의한 Air Core와 그에 따른 공기연행의 발생 조건과 영향을 수리모형실험을 통해 확인함으로써 실제 운용 시 보다 안정적이고 효율적인 운용에 대한 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 판단되며, 추가로 수치해석을 통한 비교 및 공기연행과 관내 공기포집 정도에 대한 연구를 통해 보다 정확한 자료제시가 가능할 것으로 판단된다.

Study on numerical analysis of debris flow considering driftwood and entrainment-erosion (유목과 연행침식을 고려한 토석류거동의 수치해석적 연구)

  • 본 연구에서는 유목과 연행침식을 고려한 토석류 수치모형을 개발하여 2011년 발생한 우면산 산사태의 관측데이터를 기반으로 수치모의를 수행하였다. 토석류 모형개발을 위해 천수방정식 기반의 침수모형인 Nays2DFlood 모형에 혼합유사농도의 이송확산, 토석류 지면전단응력, 연행침식모듈을 추가하였으며 유목생성과 유목거동 모의를 위해 입자법 기반의 유목동력학 모형을 결합하였다. 개발된 모형을 검증하기 위해, 민감도분석을 수행하였으며, 모의결과, 우면산 산사태 당시 래미안 APT에 피해를 끼친 충격수심과 충격유속, 최종 토석류 체적을 양호하게 재현한 것으로 판단된다. 또한 토석류를 구성하는 토사입경이 작을수록 토사점성에 의한 전단응력의 증가로 토석류 유속과 수심이 감소했지만 연행침식량이 증가하였으며, 토사입경이 증가하면 유속과 수심이 증가하고 연행침식량은 감소한 것으로 나타났다. 또한 본 연구에서 개발된 토석류 거동모형은 토사입경, 침식 및 퇴적계수 등의 다양한 토석류 매개변수가 요구되기 때문에, 이러한 물성치 데이터가 현장 또는 실내실험에서 충분히 확보되어야 모형의 정확도가 향상될 것으로 판단된다. 따라서, 향후 연구에서는 본 연구에서 고찰된 모형의 적용성과 한계점을 고려하여 토석류 거동을 예측모의 한다면 보다 세부적으로 토석류와 유목거동을 예측분석해 볼 수 있을 것으로 사료된다. 또한 본 연구의 결과는 기후변화로 인한 강우발생의 불확실성과 이로 야기되는 토석류 발생을 사전에 예측하여 토석류 저감대응방안을 구축하는 일환으로 활용 될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

Estimation of Entrainment Rate of Fluid Mud using Annular Flume (환형수조를 이용한 머드유동층의 연행부상률 산정)

  • In this study, experiments for measurements of entrainment rate of fluid mud were carried out using annular flume domestically for the first time. Six entrainment tests using kaolinite sediments were conducted with different initial concentrations of fluid mud. It is shown that sediment settling counteracts the otherwise buoyancy dependent entrainment of fluid mud, and that the settling effect leads to a measurably decreased entrainment rate at higher Richardson numbers in comparison with entrainment of salt water, due to additional dissipation of turbulent kinetic energy in the interfacial layer. Through the comparison with previous other studies, the overall performance of the annular flume, the experimental procedure and the test results in simulating the entrainment of fluid mud are shown to be good enough to verify.
