본 논문은 MPLS 망과 MPOA 망을 ATM을 이용하여 심리스 연결이 가능한 연동 방안을 제시한다. MPOA의 Shortcut VC와 MPLS의 레이블을 이용한 LSP가 IP 룩업 지연을 최소화하고 심리스 연결을 가능하게 하였지만, 이들을 연동하기 위해서는 연동 노드의 IP 룩업이 필요하므로 종단간의 심리스 연결을 위한 연동 방안이 필요하다. MPLS 망과 MPOA 망의 심리스 연동을 위해 치들의 연동 기능을 이용한 연동 방안과 함께 MPLS의 레이블 값과 ATM VC의 VPI/VCI를 이용하여 LIB에 연동기능을 구성한 심리스 연동 방안들을 제시하고 비교 분석한다.

기존의 N-ISDN 망과 현재 진행 중인 B-ISDN 망이 공존하는 과정에서 B-ISDN 망을 통하여 연결되는 N-ISDN 망의 기능 및 특성과 서비스 질을 최소한 유지하고, N-ISDN 망의 이용을 극대화하기 위하여 B-ISDN과 N-ISDN의 연동 방안을 제안하였다. 제안된 방안에서는 N-ISDN급의 정보 통신 서비스를 효율적으로 사용할 수 있도록 N-ISDN 망과 B-ISDN 망사이에 적합한 연동망을 구성하며, 구축될 새로운 연동망을 고려한 체계적인 서비스 제공방안으로 B-ISDN과 N-ISDN 사이의 연동에 관한 통신 시나리오, 서비스 연관 및 접속 유형, 그리고 망연동 및 서비스 연동에 대한 시나리오의 개략적인 방안을 제시하였다. 제시된 연동 방안에서는 망 접속 장치를 통하여 N-ISDN의 회선모드 베어러 서비스(Circuit Mode Bearer Service)는 B-ISDN의 서비스 등급 A로, 패킷모드 베어러 서비스(Packet mode bearer Service)와 프레임 모드 베러어 서비스(Frame mode bearer Service)는 B-ISDN의 서비스 등급 C로 각각 수용되어 망연동 및 서비스 연동을 가능하게하여 주기 때문에 서로 다른 정보 전달 능력(information transfer capability)을 가지고 있는 B-ISDN과 N-ISDN의 통신망을 상호 접속시켜주는데 사용될 수 있다.

MPLS는 인터넷 백본 기술로 유력시 되고, 소규모 랜에서는 MPOA와 IPOA가 적용되고 있다. 그러나 고속 전송의 장점을 가지는 이들 기술들을 서로 연동하치 위해서는 복잡한 처리에 의한 지연이 불가피하다. 본 논문은 MPOA 망과 MPLS 망의 효율적인 연동 방안을 제시하고 제시된 연동 방안을 위해 필요한 기능과 동작 절차를 기술한다. 또한 연동 방안의 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 위해 NS를 이용하여 필요한 기능을 추가 및 수정하고 전송 지면 및 처리량에 대한 시뮬레이션 결과를 제시한다.

For high-speed Internet services, considerations on interworking methods are required for interworking between networks with different technologies. lnterworking and structures in interworking point nodes can affect on transfer efficiency. This paper proposes interworking procedures and functions of the edge routers for overhead reduction in MPOA-MPLS networks. The MPLS networks can be based on ATM technology. Therefore, we consider ATM seamless connections for the interworking and compare the proposed method with that without seamless connection. We perform computer simulations to get both of the transfer delays and throughputs for the comparison., we describe required interworking functions and operations in the edge routers.

기존의 공중전기 통신망들이 B-ISDN으로 통합, 발전되어 가는 과정에서 경제성 및 효율성 등의 이유로 인하여 필연적으로 기존망과 구현하려는 망사이의 연동이 필요하게 되며 가능한 기존망의 기능을 수용하면서 구현될 수 있는 방안이 마련되어야 한다. 본 기고에서는 각각 B-ISDN과 Internet의 특성을 파악하고 그 차이점을 분석하였으며, B-ISDN과 Internet의 연동에 있어서 연동 요구사항과 연동 기능, 그리고 두 망간 연동방안을 제시하고, 이를 비교분석하였다. 또한 하위계층의 근본적 차이로 인해 발생하는 두 망간의 문제점에 대해서도 논의하였다.

This paper presents the simulated results of proposed interworking methods those are possible to seamless contact by ATM advantage of MPOA network and MPLS network, which was based on ATM. First, we compared operations and characteristics of MPOA and MPLS, and Proposed to consideration and structure for interworking. In this result, we described to interworking methods and proposed to requirement interworking function of LER. For performance analysis of interworking methods, we make a comparative study of the simulation result.

The current domestic railway wireless communication networks transmit and receive data using several communication schemes such as VHF, TRS-ASTRO, and TRS-TETRA depending on the specific region. Recently, LTE scheme has been adopting in railway wireless communication systems to provide various services and increase reliability. It is critical to support the network interoperability between the existing communication schemes and new communication scheme for seamless data transmission. In this paper, we propose two interoperability schemes in railway communications networks, i.e., network oriented scheme and terminal oriented scheme. We consider the operation scenario for each scheme and compare two interoperability schemes. The practical implementation issues are also discussed based on suggested schemes.

본 논문에서는 우정물류 분야의 환경변화에 대응하고 더 나아가 우정물류 분야를 활성화하기 위해 필수적으로 요구되는 4S 연동을 위한 방안을 제시하기 위하여 우정물류시스템 중 세부시스템을 선정하여 시스템 구축 단계별 4S 연동방안을 제안하였다. 본 논문은 다음과 같이 구성되었다. 서론에서 연구 필요성 및 목적을 서술하고 이어서 4S 및 관련연구를 간략하게 살펴보았다 그리고 우정물류 분야에서 4S를 포함한 정보기술 활용현황을 국내ㆍ외로 나누어 분석 기술하였으며, 구체적인 4S 연동방안을 제시하기 위하여 우정물류시스템 중 집배업무 관리시스템을 선정하여 구축 단계별로 4S 연동방안을 제안하였다.

For interconnecting PSTN and IP Networks, We made a comparative analysis of signaling interworking and also studied SS7 Signaling process as a method for signaling interworking for using the establishment of PATN/IP network and seting up a phone call. Mobile RFID/NFC linkage technology means a provision of integrated 2 existing mobile RFID services by developing the 900MHz mobile RFID reader and the NFC reader/tag into one SoC to be put on a USIM card. In this paper, the mobile RFID related technologies that offer similar services as NFC were also analyzed to understand the potential linkage to NFC and the requirements for the linkage. In addition, the introduction of dual tag and the code system linkage suggested a linking method to maximally use the existing infrastructure and the requirement satisfaction was analyzed. Lastly, based on the analysis, the future direction for the new standard design was suggested.
