Yanji(延吉) city is the district seat of the Yanbian(延邊) Korean Autonomous District where is located in the Jilin(吉林) Province in China, and also the largest city with a population of three hundred sixty thousand, Since the mid-1980s, the inter-exchange and cooperation between Yanbian District and South Korea has been increased rapidly. That draw many scholars' attention to studying Yanbian District and Korean Chinese as a research theme for area studies. Unfortunately they neglect the study of the commerce and service industry in Yanbian city, which has indicated its rapid growth by the market economic policy of China, and an inter-exchange between Korean Chinese and Korean. The purpose of this study is to provide an information to many Korean potential investors for an investment strategy of the commerce and service industry in Yanji city. In order to do so, this study consists of three major steps. First of all. we analyzed the regional structure and locational characteristics of the commerce and service industry in Yanji City. Secondly, we investigated the characteristics of consumers behavior toward purchasing goods and service facilities. Finally, we supplied the proper businesses and location information for investment to Korean firms according to the results that identified above. In conclusion, we suggest that the proper businesses to invest are department store, retail clothing store, shoes store, cosmetics store, electronics and home appliances store, oversea branch offices of trading companies, Korean-style restaurant, hotel, nightclubs, Korean-style music room(Noraebang), travel agencies, beauty parlors, video rooms, electronic games, and so on. We also suggest that the proper locational areas to invest those businesses are the core area of the commerce and service industry in Yanji, where are Xinxing(新興) 3-zone and Jinxue(進學) 2-zone expressed in the Yanji city figure.

This study is to find out formation and development process of urban area in modern ages(1870-1949) focused Yanji city in the east-northern area in china. After the discharge of confinement in the late 19 century, the settlements were formed around east area, that is, the present Yanji urban area. The japanese consular office had been moved in east area since the beginning of the early 20 century, and so, the existing residents moved to west area. And the military and administrative facilities were located on the urban outskirts. After the September 18th Incident on 1932, Yanji had been constructed with the strategic center area under the urban planning. The administrative facilities of those days had been altered to he functional branches and educational facilities, and become the basis of development of Yanji city.

연변은 한국인에게 그리 낯설지 않은 지역이다. TV에서 연예인들이 연변 말투를 흉내내는가 하면 연변 사람을 소재로 한 드라마가 있을 정도다. 연변에 있는 조선족들 또한 위성을 통해 한국방송을 실시간으로 보면서 한국문화를 빠르게 받아들이고 있다. 그만큼 한국과 연변지역의 문화 및 사고방식의 차이가 좁아지고 있다.

This study investigated the proximate composition and total amino acid contents in Tricholoma matsutake and Sarcodon aspratus to compare the food quality according to production area. The crude ash contents in Tricholoma matsutake from Yanji (China), Yangyang (Korea), Tibet (China), and Yunnan (China) were 6.95%, 6.40%, 5.52%, and 5.40%, respectively. Yangyang showed the lowest crude fat content (1.19%), whereas Tibet exhibited the lowest crude protein content (16.83%), showing a difference according to the production area. The total amino acid content of Tricholoma matsutake in Yanji, Yunnan, Tibet, and Yangyang was $11,490.14{\pm}892.07mg%$, $8,000.03{\pm}207.25mg%$, 6,815.48 mg%, and $6,074.74{\pm}814.86mg%$, respectively. The contents of proximate composition and total amino acids in Sarcodon aspratus showed no difference according to production area. The results of proximate composition in Tricholoma matsutake suggest that the crude ash content can be used as a distinguishing indicator between Tricholoma matsutake from Yangyang and Tibet. Further studies are needed to analyze the mineral contents for the establishment of distinguishing mineral indicators between Tricholoma matsutake from Yangyang and Tibet.
