The purpose of this study was to scrutinize and compare the perceptions of Global and Korean HRD Professionals in Workplace Learning and Performance(WLP) competencies in Korea. To answer these questions, the following research methods were employed. A questionnaire, which was modified and translates from the 2004 ASTD model for WLP, was distributed to 319 HRD consultants working in Seoul and Kyounggi-Do. It was sent out directly and by email. Among returned questionnaires, 205 were valid to be examined. The important findings of the study were as follows. First, the role of business partner ranked highest in the level of importance of WLP roles in Korean and the role of special professional ranked highest in global. For the competencies of WLP, effective communication ranked highest both Korean and global. Based on the findings of this study, the conclusion was as follows. First, the perceptions of WLP roles were different between Korean and global HRD professionals. The reason why it's differences is because the size of market are different. Second, the perceptions of WLP competencies were similar between Korean and global HRD professionals. HRD professionals should need to professionalize the communication skills continuously.

This study aims to examine the mediating effects of paternal depression on the relationship between traditional gender role attitudes and the perceived maternal gatekeeping roles of fathers with young children. For this purpose, a survey was conducted by 366 married fathers who raises at least one child who is under seven years old. Mplus 7.0 was used to analyze the structural equation model, and the result showed that higher traditional gender role attitudes relate to more depressive symptoms, higher perceptions of maternal gate closing and lower perceptions of maternal gate opening. Also, more depressive symptoms were related to higher perceptions of maternal gate closing and lower perceptions of maternal gate opening. Additionally, the partial mediation effects of depression were observed in the relationship between traditional gender role attitudes and maternal gate keeping. Based on the findings, implications for therapeutic interventions were discussed, and recommendations for future research are presented.

This study examines the effect of Korean Wave recognition on the preference of cheese chicken ribs in Vietnamese students. It also examines the effect of preference of cheese chicken ribs on the Korean food image of Vietnamese students and their intention to visit Korean restaurants. We analyze the results and try to help globalization of Korean food, development of Korean menu and marketing activities. As a result of the analysis, the hypothesis that the recognition of Korean Wave has positive (+) influence on the preference of cheese chicken ribs was not adopted. The recognition of Hallyu influenced the preference of cheese chicken ribs through SNS influence. SNS influence was found to be a mediator between Korean recognition and cheese chicken rib preference. In case of foreigners, they will recognize Korean Wave through various instruments. Based on the results of this study, it is necessary to study various factors that affect the preference of Korean food and the preference of single menu, and to re - examine Korean food which can globalize Korean food.
