With increased complexity of product and market, the phenomenon that a consumer get paradoxical attitude toward marketing object has been increased. And this phenomenon eventually affects the relationship between consumer and product. In this study we tried to find more paradoxical phenomenon and understand consumer behavior confronting these situations when they buy agro-product based on ground theory methodology. According to the results, consumer's expectation and purchase experience can promote quality paradox experience during confronting various marketing activities such as price, product, promotion, place. Also these experience can cause quality paradox related interaction and communication even though there could be differences in their experience according to demographic characteristics, personal preference, and risk perception. Consumer will develop multiple strategies against quality paradox to manage the uncomfortable paradox experiences.

본 논문에서는 기존에 제안된 이동통신용 키분배 방식의 문제점을 분석하고, Girault가 제안한 자체인증 공개키(Self-certified public keys) 개념을 이용한, 인증자에 기반을 둔(Certification-based) 방식이 아닌 개인식별정보에 기반을 둔(Identity-based) 방식이면서도 사용자가 자신의 비밀키를 선택할수 있는, 이동 퉁신망에 적용가능한 "역설적인" ID-based 키분배 방식을 제안한다. 제안한 방식의 안전성은 고차 잉여류 문제(${\gamma}$$^{th}$ -residuosity problem)와 이산대수(discrete logarithm) 문제에 근거한다. 문제에 근거한다.

We consider a history-dependent Parrondo game in which the winning probability of the present trial depends on the results of the last two trials in the past. When a fraction of an infinite number of players are allowed to choose between two fair Parrondo games at each turn, we compare the blind strategy such as a random sequence of choices with the short-range optimization strategy. In this paper, we show that the random sequence of choices yields a steady increase of average profit. However, if we choose the game that gives the higher expected profit at each turn, surprisingly we are not supposed to get a long-run positive profit for some parameter values.

There are two forms of cryptococcal meningitis immune reconstitution inflammatory syndrome (CM-IRIS): paradoxical CM-IRIS and unmasking CM-IRIS. It is important to distinguish paradoxical CM-IRIS and CM relapse because mortality of CM-IRIS is higher than that of CM without IRIS, and paradoxical CM-IRIS and CM relapse requires different treatment. We report a case of paradoxical CM-IRIS that well matches the clinical findings with MR findings during three years follow-up of a HIV infected patient and new MRI finding is also introduced to help distinguish them.

Background: A paradoxical response is defined as the radiological and clinical worsening of a previous lesion or the development of new lesion after initial improvement during theprocess of antituberculous treatment. The related factors for the development of a paradoxical response in patients with tuberculous pleurisy are not certain. Methods: We selected patients with tuberculous pleurisy who had been treated for more than 4 months. The changes onthe serial chest X-ray findings before and after treatment were reviewed. Paradoxical responses were regarded as any worsening or development of new lesion at least 2 weeks after the initiation of treatment. The baseline clinical characteristics and laboratory findings of the peripheral blood and pleural fluid were compared between the patients with a paradoxical response and the patients without a paradoxical response. Results: Paradoxical responses appeared in sixteen patients (21%) among the 77 patients.It took a mean of 38.6 days after the treatment and the time to resolve the paradoxical response was a mean of 32.1 days. For the patients with a paradoxical response, the median age was younger (30.5 years vs 39.0 years, respectively) and the lymphocytic percentage of white blood cells in the pleural fluid was higher (82.1% vs 69.6%, respectively) than for the patients without a paradoxical response. Conclusion: The development of a paradoxical response during the treatment of patients with tuberculous pleurisy was not rare and this was related with the age of the patients and the percentage of lymphocytic white blood cells in the pleural fluid.

In his recent paper, Hanseung Kim (2014) discusses the Cable Guy paradox and argues that given the nature of regret, it is rational to bet on the cable guy's afternoon arrival, though it is equally probable for him to arrive in the morning or afternoon interval. In this paper, I argue that regret is not essential to the paradox in that the paradox still arises even if we ignore regret. I then briefly discuss a possible way to proceed to resolve the paradox.

Wiener, Daniel Bell, Willis Harman, Dennis Meadows, Willam Brown 그리고 Leon Martel-들의 장기예측 방법들을 평가, 분석하여 "Options for The Future"란 책을 펴낸 Tomas E. Jones의 견해를 중심으로 미래연구의 시작과 개발 그리고 예측방법론들을 정리해 보았다.
